We were visiting from Kansas City and looked for a restaurant to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. We found 3 Margaritas in Pueblo, CO on Yelp. We did not wait long to be seated, to order or to get the ticket. I am not of Hispanic descent but I wished our waiter, Yeison(?), Happy Cinco de Mayo. His reply was thank you! I felt like this was an absolute perfect response. It wouldn't have made sense to say 'you too' so his response was awesome. Somehow they made me feel good. He was adequately attentive during our meal. I do wish when he told us the special of the day, he would have advised there were no sides with it (although I didn't ask, either) but my boyfriend had enough beans and rice to share. There's only a few reasons I come to Pueblo West. 1- my amazing friends and 2- this restaurant. Not only are you greeted with happy faces, the service is tops and the food is just *chefs kiss* mouth watering! From their chips n salsa to your main meal and everything in between you will not be dissatisfied. Margaritas made to frozen perfection. The service and ambiance were very good at this restaurant and the food was okay. The only reason we didn't like it much was because they used a lot of cilantro in the salsa and there was some on the food. My family does not like cilantro and so we will probably not go back here. read more

The food is excellent and different from your typical Pueblo County Mexican restaurant (like you won't find green chile anywhere on their menu)! But it's quite delicious all the same. Years ago before I'm sure Tres Margaritas had even thought about opening a restaurant in Pueblo West, I ate exclusively at their in town restaurant and at that time they offered a most delicious slaw that just came on your plate with every meal and I was disappointed that at least in their PW Restsurant they no longer offer this. However I took a friend of mine here recently for a birthday lunch and the waitstaff after being told of this arrived with a huge sombrero for her to wear and an ice cream dessert as they serenaded her much to HER chagrin! Food was hot and fast, probably would have given the food a 4 on its own, however I will say this was some of the best service I have ever received! I like this place well enough. Their queso is really good. Ordered a burrito deluxe. I ask the waiter - "what do you recommend? The green sauce or the red sauce? ". He replies the green sauce. Ok, I order the deluxe burrito with green sauce. The red sauce was fine but I wonder how much better would the burrito been with green sauce? The waiter, besides messing up my order, also had a hard time with the concept of keeping your glass full. There are a ton of good restaurants in Pueblo West. Food was just ok. The service was terrible. Our male server (tall white kid) was very inattentive. Had to actually get up and find him to take our drinks. He had brought out our food eventually after flagging him down again to order. He spilled salsa on the table and didn't apologize or offer to clean it up or provide extra napkins. Nice clean restaurant. Nice decor. I have eaten there a handful of times and each time the food has been prepared promptly, was hot upon arrival and of course tasted great. Many Mexican restaurants believe that mouth scorching hot tasting is what people want. This is not true. People want properly seasoned food which is served here. Each time service has been flawless. I am not a fan of house magarita's mixed in those 55 gallon bar mixers so I never order them at any restaurant. However I recommend getting their "original" margarita which is excellent. read more

We stopped in on our way back to Texas, after reading reviews on here. However, we were disappointed. I ordered quesadillas with steak fajita meat. In each triangle, there was a tiny piece of meat and the rest was filled with onions and bell pepper. For the entire quesadilla, there was about 6 small pieces of meat. Very disappointing. Not impressed. Went for lunch and it was empty and that is fine. I was expecting the service to be great considering we were the only ones there. The margaritas were mediocre, the enchiladas were good, the tacos... eh. The restaurant did start to fill up a bit which is good, however, the server was clearly weeded with 6 tables. Wanted to order last round of drinks & check. She took too long to come back to we asked for the check. The server come back to tell us the credit card machine was down and she could either write our cc # down or we can go to an ATM across the street. How long did you know about this??? And no you are not writing my cc down. Maybe dinner service is better. If I didn't like Mexican food so much, I probably wouldn't go back. Came to 3 Margaritas for the first time!! I got the Colorado burrito it was delicious, my only downer was that the chunks of meat in the burrito were so big I had to use a knife to cut it!! But the meat was melt in your mouth tender and so yummy! Our waiter Jordan was also amazing! Very attentive and sweet. Definitely would go there again! Great food and wonderful service!!!! read more

I absolutely love this place! The owner and staff are all very friendly and of course the quality of food and service is always the best around P-West!!! We will continue to make 3 Margaritas our weekend go-to spot for a long time to come. To be 100% fair.. if I had to complain about anything it would be that I wish the Horchata was a bit more consistent in flavor, some days are hit or miss.. and if you're picking up food taking it to go make sure to try and show up about 5-10 min early (yes, you can do that) or your food will sit by a door on an outside wall, not underneath heat lamps.. and when it's cold out your food cools off quickly. This was our favorite Mexican place in Pueblo. We had moved out of town for the last 6 months and were back in Pueblo for the night so we had to come in. Not sure what changed in the last 6 months, but I ordered my usual deluxe taco salad, (a $10 salad that is just taco meat, lettuce, cheese, a scoop of guacamole and a scoop of sour cream in a large tortilla shell). It tasted the same but was about half the size it used to be. I asked if they had added a half size or if I ordered the wrong thing, she said they only have one size. I asked if they had changed management or something, and told her this is half the size it usually is. She just said again that they only have one size and walked away. It tastes the same but for $10 the salad should be bigger. Sad. read more

Called the restaurant three days to see if they would be interested in hosting a dinner party of 20. The host explained they normally don't do reservations but with a party that big they may be interested. She returned to say her manager would make that happen. She took all my information and said we were all set. The night of the reservation, they dropped the ball and proceeded to give nothing but excuses.
