Great service, great food - the portions are gigantic, chips and Salsa were gone before they hit the table. Can't wait to go back! Restaurant was clean and decorated well.

This place is convenient because it's in the same parking lot as the hotel we're staying in. So it's a quick walk. At first, it's looks empty from the parking lot but as soon as you are inside, it was so crowded and lively. I was hesitant because of all the low reviews from Yelp and Google. Now I know why because the service is slow. More like understaffed. We ordered mojito and pina colada for drinks and shared a steak salad. Thank goodness because the plate was a size of a 12x12 ceramic tile. It was huge. I've read reviews that the carne asada steak taste like beef jerky. I can contest to that because the meat is super thin and over cooked so it could taste like jerky. The salad was eh. The description listed 3 types of vinaigrette but all I could taste was the ice burg lettuce. We didn't eat the beans. The drinks come in big margaritas glass. I couldn't finish my mojito. I would have shared if I knew it was that big so for others, it's probably a good deal.

Very good! The ambience and decor is super authentic. They've got the Dia de Los Muertos celebration going on, which really reminds me of the hispanic culture back on the west coast. They also take their social distancing and cleaning very seriously as they were seating people far far apart and a lady was cleaning tables within an inch of their life after. The sanitiser smell is annoying but reassuring. The nachos and salsa for the table were really good. Really liked the salsa. We ordered the loaded nachos and street tacos with a traditional margarita. The nachos were great - huge quantity, cheesy, good amount of chicken with lots of guac and sour cream. The street tacos were decent. They only allow you to choose one meat for all 5 which is strange because every other place I've ordered street tacos in gives you the option of mix and match. I chose the chicken. It was a little bit dry. Maybe you should consider asada for yours. The plate comes with a salsa verde (good, but I love spicier salsas), beans (a little dry but good) and a small amount of salad on the side. The margarita surprised me. Instead of just the one glass of margarita, they provided a glass and the mixer with the margarita inside it. So you pour it out yourself. Ended up being 3 glasses so it's easily shareable! A little too sweet for me but I liked it! Also got takeout of their lunch special arroz con pollo which looked pretty good. Overall, definitely a better experience than prior mexican eateries in Pueblo.

My family has stopped here on our way to Colorado for many years! The interior is so cool and authentic! I love that you can watch them make the tortillas and that the staff is friendly. What keeps us coming back is definitely the mushroom salsa that is so good!! My family orders 2 big orders and then some to go every time! Their food is authentic, flavorful, and well portioned esp for family sharing! This is a great local place with tons to try on the menu! Definitely recommend coming here!

In case you don't read the whole review- +1 star for our server +1 star for the pollo fundido this was decent but over priced. minus 3 stars for several things ... Consider the following in case you decide to go here: First, the restaurant itself is beautiful, it's huge so they're doing a good job of spacing out available dining sections, and depending on when you go the wait time can be about 30mins or more. Our waiter was nice and attentive so the lack of stars is because of the FOOD (the most IMPORTANT part of any restaurant). The salsa they provide with chips is subpar... it's flavorless and it's almost like having watered down tomato soup. Not sure if it was a situational thing but both sodas were flat - we got sprite and coke, both were watered down with very little syrup, they weren't cold and the carbonation was gone. We also got coffee but sadly it was tasted burnt and stale. So save a few bucks and just order water. The queso dip was room temp maybe a bit colder, which does not make for good dipping, flavor, and it also tells you that it sat for a while. My plate was the Pollo Fundido - Chicken with mushrooms spinach yellow and red bell peppers topped off cheese and a side of beans and rice. Although it was good, it's not $17 worth of good and food quality should always match price. We also got the Portuguese shrimp, which is shrimp wrapped in bacon and ham and stuffed with cheese. You would think it's spicy, a little bit salty, and delicious but the sauce was bland and the shrimp were slightly overcooked which made them rubbery. Overall, I wouldn't be back, the food is over priced, lacking in flavor, and quality control the only positive was that our server was friendly and tried to be helpful but at the end of the day it's the kitchen who needs to deliver on food because that's what people are spending most of their money on.

Delicious veggie enchiladas, so light and flavorful. The beef and bean burrito was large and yummy! The service friendly and attentive.

The place is very cute. The host at the entrance was very attentive. We ordered the Mexican pizza appetizer and it was delicious! For the main plates we ordered from the lunch menu. My expresso vegetarian burrito was excellent. My friends liked there food two. Everything was fine with our server until we received the check (bill) and saw that we have been charge, the main dishes, from the prices at the regular menu. I asked for the menu again and show it to the server. He stared at us for a few seconds and said: sorry that plate that you received was from the regular menu. Excuse me! How is that our fault? When we ordered, we used the lunch menu and pointed to him what we want. How this can be our fault? We paid, one of my friends gave him a tip and I didn't. The first time in my life that I don't tip a server. He deserves it, for over charged us!

Giving the order over the phone was easy, the order was ready when promised, the staff was super friendly and the food was hot and delicious. I love Colorado/Pueblo green chile and Cactus Flower has some of the best. Today I ordered hot vs medium over my blue corn tortilla cheese enchiladas and it was spicy and flavorful. We also love their flour tortilla chips and salsa. No question about it, I/We will be back!

We weren't off to a great start when it took quite a while be be seated and there were many open tables. Once we sat down it still took a cool minute for anyone to come to the table. So for me to give five super stars say how good the food has to be to make up for the slow service. Chips and salsa are a telling sign on how good the food is and they more than passed the test with light chips and salsa so good I wanted to chug a gallon of it! Oh my gosh friends. I was blown away by how good the food was. I had the combo #7. Pork and guacamole, chicken and cream cheese enchilada, a fried flour shelled chicken taco, with rice and beans. I went for the mild medium green chili option and it had quite a kick! Next time, I'll stick to mild. Still, it didn't take away from how awesome it was. The taco was seriously the best taco I've ever had in my life! No kidding! I don't know how I'm going to be able to finish this review because I'm getting so hungry writing it. For dessert, I had a sopapilla. Sopapillas are one thing only a few restaurants can get just right. They should be light, airy, and puffy. These were kind of a combo of fry bread and puffy. Kinda' heavy and not too puffy, but the flavor was fantastic. They're on the pricy side at about $4.25 for one. It's good-sized, so you could spit it but you won't want to because it's so good! I believe it's a family-owned and operated restaurant, so that's super cool. Too bad I live in LA. If I lived in Pueblo I would be there all the time. Bookmark this place if you're ever passing through Pueblo. It's right of I-25 so you can have one of the best meals of your life and continue on your happy journey!

I like how they are open early and they serve breakfast all day…read more Walking in it's a small place, but enough tables. You order at the counter and they call out your number to pick up. I ordered the fajita trio Mexican bowl. I got it without tomatoes but to add the green chili. Husband ordered the combo number 20; enchilada, chile rellano, and something else I can't remember. Anyways, I can comment on mine only. It was very good. But with all the sauces; guacamole, sour cream, and green chili it became very soggy. I would probably forgo the guacamole just because I enjoy sour cream. They have a salsa bar with various salsas that I couldn't say what they were. Except for two. One tasted like very hot salsa and the other a mild home made basic salsa. Both were very good, except the hot was a little too hot, which is rare. Next time I want to try a combo as it comes with rice and beans. Cons: the salsa isn't labeled as to what each one is and it's like you have to put a little in the cups to taste it. I can see how they can get busy and no where to sit. But they have a drive thru, so that helps if the parking lot is full. The place can be a little difficult to find as it's at the end of a strip mall. Recommended? Yes. It's more fast food, but really good fast food. When I'm in Pueblo and want Mexican quickly, I would go here.

Writing this as I sit waiting for my pickup order that I placed about an hour ago for a 12:30pm…read morepickup. The parking lot was very full around noon on a Wednesday but the restaurant only had a few tables full and no one in line. They did have dance tracks playing at about 3 ticks too loud for the occasion and setting. After waiting for a little over 5 minutes, my food was brought out to the tunes of Lady Gaga's poker face. Not horrible but I am pretty sure they did not start assembling my food until I arrived which is not great...here is to hoping the food is good... Later....So, I ordered the chicken enchiladas combo plate and a fish taco. The taco had an appropriate serving of fish with decent flavor and texture with the fresh toppings. I only got the sour cream in my first bite and it definitely could have used more but the taco is still tasty without. Tortillas are good. Upon first glance the enchiladas looked decent. As they say, looks can be deceiving! I always get chicken enchilads when ordering for the first time at a Mexican style restaurant as I think they are a good indicator. Refried beans need salt and fat badly. Rice is ok but also dry. Now, the star of the show the supposed "chicken" enchilads. Wow in the worst possible way. First, there is not a shred of chicken amongst the unmelted pre shredded "Mexican cheese blend". Not only that but I found a single piece of meat that is not chicken and most likely is pork. Luckily I do not have any dietary restrictions but if you do beware. I may try reheating these terrible excuse for enchiladas later so I can at least melt the cheese and pretend I ordered cheese enchiladas without chicken, which I would never. The enchiladas alone deserve a zero star review. Disappointing. Giving two stars for the fish tacos okness and lady gaga. Will not be back. Do not recommend.
