I had previously used 3 Men Movers with two previous moves and received exceptional service. So, when I was moving again, I immediately called them. I made a reservation to move 1.2 miles on July 18, 2025. I explained that I needed packing, moving, and unpacking services. I had a 1,500 square foot 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment had 3 floors. The landing was the garage, first floor was a study area, the second floor was the living area, dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms were on the third floor. When I made the reservation, I asked if all three services could be completed in one day. They assured me that it could and scheduled the packing services for 7:00 am. They estimated that it would take two hours to pack. The loading services would start at approximately 9:00 am, then the unloading would start and then the unpacking. On August 1, 2025, I received a call from the person assigned to my move. He wanted to review my reservation. I told him that I was scheduled for 3 services - packing, moving, and unpacking. I could tell that he was having trouble understanding what I was saying. After speaking with him, his supervisor called me to review my services. He told me that my point of contact was having trouble understanding what I was saying because of his limited English. I told him that I was having trouble understanding what was needed from me. On August 2, 2025, three men arrived at 7:00. We reviewed my order. I immediately knew that this move was going to be a challenge because they spoke limited English. So, I called a friend who spoke a little Spanish to come over and translate. They packed from 7:00 am - to around 1:00 pm. I was charged and paid $1,500 for packing and the boxes. It took from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm (10 hours) to pack, load, and drive 1.2 miles to the new apartment. Now, mind you we completely missed our time block to use the freight elevator at the new place. The leasing office, freight elevator, and loading dock, closed at 6:00 pm. We arrived at the new apartment at 6:30 pm. I asked the person on site to call his supervisor because I realized that someone who spoke English at 3 Men Movers should be apprised about what was happening. I spoke with his supervisor and told him that it took 11 hours to pack, load and drive 1.2 miles. At 6:30 pm we talked the concierge to open the loading dock and freight elevator because we had a truck load of my belongings sitting in the truck. The crew started unloading at 6:30 pm. They unloaded my bed and started to reassemble it. They were having trouble because they left the drill at the old apartment, and the drill did not keep a charge long enough to reassemble the bed. The crew was tired and dumping boxes throughout the apartment. They were putting boxes in the first empty space, on top on one another, and on top of furniture. They tried repeatedly to reassemble my bed. My friend who had been with me the entire time finally informed me that my bed was in pieces on the floor and they were trying to put it back together. At 1:00 am Sunday morning,17 hours in the move I pulled the plug. My bed was in parts lying broken in the floor. The crew had screws, chicken bones and trash sprawled on the floor. The apartment that I moved in was a completely new building and after the move there were scratches on the newly painted walls, garbage on the new floors, and scratches on my dresser. At 1:00 am on Sunday, the movers presented me with a bill for 17 hours and demanded payment for $3,100.00. I asked them to call a supervisor. My friend who remained during the entire 17 hours escorted the crew out of my apartment. Later, I learned that the movers called the police and stated that I refused to pay for my move. They also told the concierge that I refused to pay. Never, did I refuse to pay. I asked to speak with a supervisor to discuss everything that had occurred. The movers left chicken, bones, screws and garbage on my new floors. They scratched the bedroom walls trying to reassemble the bed. Scratched my dresser and failed to properly label boxes. They stacked the boxes over 6 feet. This move was 17 hours of pure hell! Days later, a representative called me. She threatened to prosecute me for theft of services. She did not ask me what happened. She took the crew's interpretation that I refused to pay and ran with it. Again, never did I refuse to pay. I asked to speak with a supervisor so we could discuss everything that happened. No customer should be treated the way they treated me without some sort of apology or discussion about what occurred. I would be remiss if I did not say that there was one company representative who called me after the move who attempted to resolve the matter. She reviewed who happened, apologized, and came up with a fair resolution. I would never use this company again. It was 17 hours of pure hell!! read more

Nelson and his crew of teenagers did a very poor job and were very rude. I was called names they thought I didn't understand because assumed I couldn't understand Spanish. Nelson Tomez and his crew spent over 5 hours loading a studio apartment worth of items because they believed la negra had a lot of money. I assume they thought this because of the location I lived in which is why Nelson repeatedly asked in English how much money I make, how much my rent was, did I buy my home, how much was it, etc. None of this is his business. My move cost well over $1200 for 2 men to move my studio apartment worth of items from Irving to Arlington. Nelson moved me last year with a different crew and a different attitude... twice. The move was around $600 each time. The last move included a $150 tip. It never took more than 3 hours and Nelson with his crew moved me up 8 flights of stairs, and from Duncanville to irving. This year however... I was the ni**** with alot of money, a lazy b***** who couldn't help, the lady complaining the little one sitting in the truck scrolling on his phone. They didn't reassemble everything, killed time shrink wrapping unnecessary stuff for the first 3 and a half hours, and even staged photos to send to the company while I was on the phone with Bella from dispatch. Another thing is they didn't do a walkthrough. Nelson started the time and whipped out that tablet as soon as he came in BECAUSE he moved the exact same items before and because as he stayed it would be easy. Had I known that he intended to stretch the move out the entire day, I would have gone with another company. $189 per hour plus a $144+ travel fee. They did that on purpose. That's what I believe. They were very leisurely until i started calling into dispatch. I also became worried about not being able to afford the move when they rolled into hour 4. I called and spoke with Bella from dispatch. After she placed me on hold, she contacted the crew and Nelson...who had refused to load any electronics and other things, spoke to his crew about me not having any money, they spoke about me trying to scam and lying, and told the other guy he called gordo to get the blankets from the truck and start wrapping the tvs, computer and electronics. Then said in English to me that they changed their mind and would load the electronics. I found out from Bella they would be taking my possessions until I paid the crew $1200. This was at about 11:30 am. The move started at 8 and Nelson told her he would take until 2pm to move a STUDIO APARTMENT WORTH OF ITEMS! I was in shock. They also now I would have to pay the crew in cash or zelle them directly! Long story short. Terrible experience. They took their sweet ass times and charged an arm and a leg to do so. Talked so much shyt about me and then in true mafia style withheld my washer dryer tvs computers vacuums and sofa cushions until i came up with $1200 before 2pm. I reached out and complained to the 3 men movers. The felt a refund of $333 was enough to make this situation right. read more

I moved a year ago and it was really bad. They over charged personally for the whole thing. A piece of my bed was missing and they broke my tv. They only offered $100 (which I had to fight for) for my tv. Two of the guys that were mainly moving everything were really nice but I'd rather go with someone else. read more

3 Men Movers moved my small house of 1100sq. ft and did an ok job. They did however break my washing maching in the move and my floor was covered in water in my brand new house on the first start-up. I tried to do a claim but my $850 washing machine is only covered at $.60/lb and at 125lbs the washing maching is worth to them about $75 and would cost $500 to fix it. I do NOT recommend these movers as they don't speak english and do NOT care about the move. They will also try and extend as much time for more money as possible. read more

This was my 2nd time using 3MM and they didn't disappoint. My movers took great care of my items, including a very unwieldy elliptical machine. They were friendly and communicative throughout the process--even when their earlier move ran late, they called to keep me updated. My only issue was in processing the Yelp deal I used for a discount. The rep I spoke with told me he would note my file with the deal, but never did. So the movers didn't have it in their system and didn't seem familiar with it. We ended up calling the general line and waiting to speak with another rep to get it sorted before we started the move. read more

BEWARE AND BE WARNED! 3 Men Movers will NOT offer fair and compensatory restitution when they damage your property!!! My experience with 3 Men Movers has been a horror story. I'm sure most jobs are successful. But when the job goes horribly wrong... 3 Men Movers will NOT right their wrongs!! Everyone please read the small print carefully! No matter if they destroy your expensive furniture, 3 Men Movers will only pay .60 cents per pound for damages. If you have a $4,000 antique china cabinet that weighs approximately 250 lbs, and the movers destroy it, 3 Men Movers will only offer $150 for the damages THEY caused. During my move, they destroyed my antique china cabinet, caused severe damages to wood on my couch, totally destroyed another display cabinet, and completely lost a piece to my new adjustable bed frame. Though they acknowledge they are responsible for the damages and lost item, their claims department WILL NOT attempt to make fair compensation for their reckless mishandling. I paid 3 Men Movers almost $1,800 for the move. They damaged the most expensive pieces I own. Everyone, as long as the job goes well, you have nothing to worry about. But when the job goes horribly wrong, 3 Men Movers will keep the money you paid them and leave you with damaged unusable furniture to fix out of your own pocket. I will warn as many people as possible... 3 Men Movers is a company that lacks honesty, integrity and they absolutely do not value the customers once they run off with your money like a thieving bandit. I'm currently seeking fair and compensatory restitution through other means. Have filed my complaint, along with pictures and documentation to TxDMV and Better Business Bureau. If those steps don't bring fair and compensatory restitution, I will take them to court. 3 Men Movers WILL NOT take care of the customer if they damage your property!!!! read more

Do yourself a favor and find another moving company. Don't use this company unless you have to. They didn't wrap many of the items they moved. They didn't disassemble many items. One of the movers was coughing the entire time. If you care about what you move, you will be wise to find another company. Pros: Cheap Cons: Everything else. To the respondent, Appreciate you reaching out. However, I have already filed a claim with your company. It's been over a month and still I haven't heard anything which tells me your company would prefer to sweep it under the rug; ironically, that's why I made the post. Horrendously unprofessional movers. The crew tampered with my property's elevator and shut it down multiple times, causing residents to use the stairwell. We specifically told them NOT to tamper with the mechanic switches, but they did anyway. Also did not move their truck until 20 minutes after office closing hours so we were forced to stay so we could close the garage. read more

I guess the men who did my move- from one Dallas apartment (first floor) to a one story house lost the hardware to my bed. Instead of putting the bed together, they just threw the slats on there and threw the mattress on top- thinking I wouldn't notice... Well I didn't until now. My baby is due in a week. My bed kept making a weird noise and sounded broken... so my husband lifting the mattress to check it- nothing was bolted in. No hardware in sight. I paid a lot of money for the bed and it is completely broken and ruined. I also paid over $600 for this super simple move... and tipped on top of that. I wonder if the movers felt guilty at all. Here I am, about to pop a baby out. We are in the middle of a pandemic (still are- whether some want to admit it or not) and I have to buy a new bed??? While my husband and I have been unemployed since March?! GREAT. I just cannot believe the trickery. Why couldn't they just be honest about losing the hardware in the first place instead of me having to realize this over a year later. Also, during the move, the broke all of the lights on the side of the bed that go with it. The bed was super cool and had a function where lights would get dimmer or brighter and surround the bed. I was pretty forgiving about that... but had no idea what was yet to come. Wish it wasn't too late to try to get some kind of refund, but who knows what the waiver (that I signed) said and now it's been so long, they could probably just say it was my fault. They damaged nearly everything in our home. Completely careless with our belongings and did thousands of dollars worth of damage. Damaged items included two family heirlooms that are not replaceable. When I filed a claim, they ended up offering me an insultingly low amount ($279). This does not even come close to covering the damages. read more

June 16th. I scheduled my move a week ahead. They were scheduled to start the move between 12:00-1:00pm. I contacted them several times but no one picked up. Then finally someone calls me back and informs me that they aren't able to do the move due to their truck breaking down. Not only did they fail to notify me in a timely manner, they did it on the exact time of the move. I totally understand that these unforeseeable events happen, but not having an alternative solution is catastrophic. Not only did I fail to vacate the current home (sold), I had to pay the new owners a month's rent when I had everything packed up. And in return, I also had to pay for an extra month for THEIR storage because they also had everything packed. Lastly, these guys texted me 3 days later asking if I still needed their service... I highly encourage everyone to STAY AWAY from this company if your move is crucial. read more

I move frequently and have worked with many movers. Jorge and his team were 10/10 professional, friendly, efficient, and impressive. We had an unexpected loss of an elevator to move my stuff into the new place and that added a long 5minute walk plus stairs just to get my stuff upstairs and there was never any hesitation to get the job done. The 3 Men Movers Crew communicated to me in a decent amount of time that they were running behind schedule. They met me at my POD and got to work right away. They emptied my POD and transported my items safely to my apartment . They also helped me with setting up and arranging my furniture in the apartment. They made sure that the move was done within in 2 hours. They were pleasant, friendly and they handled all my items with the utmost care. I requested that everyone wear masks through dispatch. All the movers showed up masked up without any push back. I would definitely consider them in the future for more business. read more

Awesome is not an adjective that does enough justice to describe the work these guys perform. There needs to be a new word entered into the dictionary which could accurately depict how great these guys are at facilitating your move. For our move, we got Kevin and his team. When I originally scheduled the move, I was told the team could be there as early as 7 am. I love morning moves because the temp is nicer and by the time you're loaded up, traffic isn't too rough. Well, Kevin and his guys were there before 6:45. Kevin quickly went over a few documents needing signatures, and once signed they were "on the clock." My move started at 6:46 exactly. Now... When I say started, I mean I pushed the ok button on Kevin's tablet, and not even a full second later boxes were on the way out the door. We had enough stuff to completely fill our new 3 bedroom home of about 1500 square feet. Now, I've moved plenty before, and understand the importance of pre boxing everything. That definitely made a huge difference. Either way, that much stuff was loaded up by about 9:15. It fit easily on their truck, and Kevin even showed me how he decided to lower how high he normally stacks since he knew he had enough room. The guy spent probably 30 seconds before the move checking out how much we had, and already knew exactly how high he could stack everything.... Insane! The new place was about 25 minutes away and they got there super fast. I noticed how hard these guys work, so I grabbed everyone burgers. When I returned to feed them they were super thankful, and even kept us company during lunch asking us about where were from and keeping up conversation. Kevin even deducted our meal time from the charge. Everything about these guys was completely professional. They did not break one single item. Not one. Granted we packed very well, used a fair amount of bubble wrap and newspaper, but not even a small chip in a glass. That's unheard of. The bulky items they shrink wrapped and used blankets on to help protect them. Nothing was scratched, dinged, dented or otherwise harmed. All in all, they are a tad bit more pricey than some other companies... Yes. And compared to some of the local guys you can get with the 5th wheel, they are way more expensive. However, you get what you pay for in this case. If you care about your stuff, and your time is valuable, you need to make the investment in 3 men movers. You won't be disappointed at all. I don't like throwing out too many numbers because every move is different, but I can tell you I had budgeted 800$ for our move, and the final price was under budget. You do the math. Do yourself a favor, give them a call before you try the other guys. The staff is super helpful. We even got a visit from one of their guys from the office to shake our hands and congratulate us on our home. Extraordinary! read more

Not sure why they would quickly turn this around on us as if it's our fault for leaving the box inside of the drawer. We looked everywhere behind/under pulled out all the drawers with no trace of the box. They offered $31 for the total loss which is an insult. Upon leaving this review, they finally attempted to call. Their liability is only 30 cents per pound so if they break your piano, they are responsible for only few hundred dollars. Stay away from these guys and find other real moving company. read more

Great customer service at the beginning but so far the worst move I have ever had. We have moved on 3/18/17. The scheduling was great. Customer service was awesome in explaining what they do, how they protect the household items, wrapping up with blankets, protecting carpet and Hardwood floor, dismantling beds, disconnecting the refrigerator and connecting them back at the new place. I read reviews about movers bringing coffee and snacks so customers can enjoy, sit and relax. Everything sounded great but everything fell flat on the day of the move. Three movers came as scheduled, right on time. One of them was brand new and they picked him up off the street that day to do this job. As soon as George entered and looked at our house, he said, we would spend about 2 1/2 hrs to load which ended up taking 7hrs just to load. Took lot of time dismantling the beds, crib and a rack in the garage. They tried to squeeze everything in that truck. Which we thought they are well organized but later we found all the scratches on the bed, tables, massage table leather was torn. Finally they spent about 11 +hrs and still not done with lot of items such as bed and crib are not assembled, later we found water is not coming from the fridge, lot of scratches on the furniture, which we are still uncovering as we go through the furniture and observe each of them. We actually brought them lunch and helped them wherever we could. Bottom line, worst move ever. Costed us $1863 to move. Bunch of left over items for us to fix. Highly incorrect estimates. I thought they might be done in 6-7 hrs but they took longer than 11hrs. On top of that aftermath, had to hire someone else to come and connect water to the refrigerator, put together the bed and crib, whole lot of scratches on furniture, did not cover the carpet or the hardwood floor except placing a couple or rigs in the front. Even said, if you want we can take off the shoes every time we come in but it would only prolong the move. Don't even think about hiring them. read more

I'd advising staying away from this company. They do not practice good business ethics. I had a move scheduled 5/21/2019 at 9:30am. The movers did not show up till 9:58am and claimed they had the wrong address. They had a phone that they rushed me through signing the documents because of being behind schedule. I was moving into a high rise downtown and you have to reserve the elevator for moves and you're only giving a block of time. Luckily I was able to extend my block of time so it was a huge issue but still should not of happened. At the end of the move after they have left I was setting up my TV and noticed when they removed it out of the box one of the guys grabbed to hard and broke the screen. Unfortunate but things happen, I called the company and they emailed me a damaged claim form and I filled out and sent that back. Two days later I get a call saying that I couldn't prove anything and in the contract I agreed to $.60 cents per pound of any damages during the move. The total was $38 they would give me for the $2,000 tv. In the end I declined the $38 with it not even being worth my time and I for sure will not be using this company and would recommend you record everything they do if you hire this company. 3 men movers is worth every penny. I used them two years ago to move from Lancaster to Old East Dallas, and hired them again this year to move to Oak Lawn. These guys work hard, they care for your items, and they get it DONE. They wrap all the furniture up to minimize the chance of damage, and they packed everything up in the truck properly. Nothing was damaged; they moved us out of a townhouse and into another one - a pretty challenging move, but they handled it like the pros that they are. I even asked for the same crew leader for this move - Nelson - because I knew he'd get it done and done right. If you consider this company, get Nelson as the crew leader. He will get you moved with no stress, and takes the job seriously. These guys really earned my business and respect. We offered them lunch and they waited until after the move was completed before taking any breaks. They worked 6 hrs straight and we were sitting in our new home by 1pm, with everything moved, with the rest of the day/afternoon for us to settle in. Again, worth every cent! read more

We were in a bad way, trying to move too much from our large storage unit to a smaller one. They answered my call quickly, emailed the exact amount I'd be paying-first the trip fee then the balance on completion. The 3 of them went to work quickly and were very careful with even the junk! It took right about 1.5 hrs (2 hr. minimum). They were very patient with others as this was a busy Saturday and plenty of vehicles going back and forth. I was concerned we couldn't fit ALL our things in the new unit, but they did it--with plenty of room to spare! The hourly rate on weekends is higher than other days but we didn't mind because they came with very little notice and we could not have done it without them. read more
