A very good selection of mobile phones and accessories, the Orange store is in the Oracle shopping…read moremall. It's a small shop, but they seem to do okay. Since I'm a little irritated with my O2 service, I stopped by to see what someone else could do for me. When a bloke ('dude' or 'guy' in American) asked me if I needed help, I was a little surprised to see that yes, he did work for the store. Once I got past that shock, he asked what I was looking for and was able to make recommendations and offer some of Orange's solutions that might fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I failed their credit check (because I haven't been the the UK long enough to show up on the systems). There is a 'bypass' system for such people, but I needed to have better proof of residency, such as a water or council bill. Perhaps I'll think ahead and bring those in next time.

I also managed to haggle on a deal here and they seem to have authority to allow this.

And I walked completely past Three. Mistake! They have some great values. For example, I went and bought a 1 GB a month dongle for the laptop so that I could surf on the train and suchlike. Orange charges £15 a month. I found out the day after that for the same £15 a month, Three gives you FIVE GB a month. Yes, five! Their signup process is also way easier than Orange, who wanted a bank statement or a utility bill to prove my address. Three does it with just a bank card. Thanks, Three. Love ya!

Quite a small store but well laid out with phones on display and good information about latest…read moredeals such as mobile broadband and new mobile phones. Phones are actually out on display and not dummy phones which is very helpful as you can actually look at how they work. Staff are quite nice although at times it gets a bit busy but normally you won't have to wait hardly any time at all to be served.

Once I entered the store I was not only warmly greeted but it was genuine. In fact it wasn't one sales associate but all of them. That alone made me want to shop. I tried on several items and left with a pair of black python looking straight leg pants. Also wanted one of their signature vinyl bags but which one I loved them all! So I got a black with their signature floral print. Signature as ai tried a blouse and t shirt with the print but of course it looked better on the bag than on me. As I hurried to the register quickly in fear of missing my flight home. Note they check your boarding pass and you are not charged duties if you are traveling out of the country. I asked the associate a favor please go through my British Pounds and I will pay the difference on my credit card. Little did I know BP expire so my $5 and $10 need to be exchanged on my next trip to the UK. Would definitely come back next trip. Also not to self they sell bags on wheels so if next time if I want to buy out the store I can.

There was not much staff behind the counter but the shop was not that busy anyway. The actual store is small but the stockroom is large, so what you are looking for will most likely be in stock. There is also a customer car park in front of the shop. A very convinient store in terms of location for me.
