A review of 3 Tattoo owned by Myongki (Tony). I had found this artist asking my friend for recommendations originally, and came to meet Tony, located at Coronado Towers. This is where I came to get my first tattoo. Originally I felt as though Tony felt I was unsure about my tattoo but later I proposed a reference for something I had wanted, and saw I really was serious about wanting his service. I explained what I had wanted and we were able to come up with a nice design to use. He had also shown me his equipment and type of ink he was using to make me feel comfortable about the business showing how clean and professional it is. The room itself is well kept and has lots of personality with figurines of all kinds from different anime and comics. There is also a TV screen with Netflix that you can watch to distract you from the tattoo if you want to watch something, just ask him. As a busy artist you may need to communicate Well with him especially during the upcoming appointment and always make sure you communicate exactly it is that you want, since he is busy and in demand as an artist, you should be serious and mindful of his time. Tony will do his best to make your idea appear on your skin. If you ever have questions always ask, so the result of your tattoo comes out the best it can be! Tony is also cool to talk to and has lots of wisdom and experience if you decide to have a good conversation with him. This was my first tattoo and i wanted it to be by Tony. His reputation definitely was what all the talk has been about and more. When I got there, everything was ready and waiting and Tony started immediately. The atmosphere and vive was nothing but calm and relaxing and CLEAN! perfect views from the 9th floor as the sun sets made the whole experience an amazing one. Tony's laid back demeanor confirmed i made the right the choice. It was one of the best lifetime firsts I've ever gone through. But all this pales in comparison to his actual work! Perfect and Exact. Again, his reputation on his work was better than expected. You already know he knows what he's doing and and I didn't worry once. Talent and absolute skill is what bests describe Tony. I understand now why his waiting list is so long, honestly its worth the wait. I wouldn't want to get anymore work done from anybody else. He did exactly what i asked and made suggestions that were easy to understand and let me decide where and how it should be placed. And if you wanted something else he would make adjustments for you no problem. When finished, not only could i believe i just got my first tattoo but i couldn't believe the detail and how it looked. better than what i ever imagined. Just clean and flawless. Tony is on to new and greater things with the opening of 3 Tattoo. Upon walking in you are immediately met with quality. It is so warm and inviting. You can tell the amount of passion that was put into the design of the studio. I challenge you to find one that is this inviting when you enter. If you put this much work into the environment you work in the quality of work produced will equal that. Tony takes his time in making sure everything is up to his strict standards. He is a true professional and it shows through his work. This isn't some "shop" off dyer this is a true studio and studio quality is what you will leave with. He is producing true art and makes everything he does perfect. Don't waste time and money going somewhere else and then be embarrassed with the final result from a tattooer who is in a rush to just take your money. This was my first tattoo, and let me just start off by saying that I was terrified and very nervous and I was being very picky, but Tony gave me exactly what I wanted and he kept me so calm and at peace during the entire process that i just laid my full trust on my tattoo artist that I have known for an hour tops , so this tells you something great about the guy. Awesome. Just awesome. I cannot speak highly enough about Tony. I have had several tattoos by different artist in the past, and Tony is by far the best. As far as Tony goes, you will not find a nicer, more courteous, more professional tattoo artist anywhere. He is a one-man show, with an amazing studio on one of the upper floors of the Mesa tower, his studio is neat, clean, and professional, with amazing views of the city, and a big screen TV that will show whatever your heart desires to keep your mind off the work. Tony is a great artist, and takes pride in his work. He is patient and creative, but will draw the line at something that he feels will not technically or artistically look good now or in the future, I cannot respect him enough for this. Because he is a one-man show, and the best at what he does, he is a man in demand, and is typically booked up for weeks out. Getting my first tattoo was something I thought about for a few years and I wanted to make sure I found someone who I could fully count on to do some great work. I had several of my peers get tattoos from him and I saw how great they turned out. Tony Yi is truly a pro at his craft. He walked me through the whole process from the initial consultation to how everything was going to play out on the day I got my tattoo (even when he was getting set up he took the time to show me that he was using brand new needles fresh out of their package). I also enjoyed being able to watch shows on Netflix while I was getting the tattoo done! At the end, he gave me an informational pamphlet giving me instructions for how to take care of my tattoo while the skin was healing as well as what to expect. First and foremost, Tony is an incredible artist, he is well versed in tattooing, and he is a very capable artist, all the work he has done for me has been stellar. Number 2, Tony has always been considerate of my schedule when finding me a date and has gone as far as being very flexible with his schedule when I had to cancel due to vaccination. Also worth noting, Tony is a great conversationalist, he will keep you chatting as he stabs you a million times with a needle. It's important to know that he is a well known artist in the area, so his schedule is pretty packed, expect to wait at a minimum a month (that's if you are lucky). Overall I recommend Tony and 3 tattoo to any of my inked friends, his portfolio is amazing, he's an amazing hardworking guy, he gives creative artistic feedback on what will work and is truly a professional in his craft. I have been wanting a tattoo for awhile but never knew where to look. One of my friends sent to him and I decided to try him out. Messaged him in July but he wanted me to come in so I did. We talked about what I wanted and he said to message him colors and an idea. Paid a deposit and set a date. He is booked way out so just be patient. Messaged him when the date got closer and he wanted me to stop in and see his drawing. It was exactly what I wanted! Day of I walked in and he made me feel comfortable, no pressure. We talked about everything and he is a super chill guy. I will totally be coming back and so will my husband. (Btw I live an hour away but I made the time to go see him, if you want quality work then you'll make time for it. 3 Tattoo is by far the best studio I've been too. Located at the Coronado Tower on the 9th floor it has an amazing view of West El Paso. The decor is just an example of the attention to detail Tony, the owner and artist, puts into all of his work. The studio is extremely clean and sanitary, needles are new and packaged, never reused! Tony immediately made me feel welcomed. I had a broad idea of the work I wanted done. After a consultation with Tony, he helped me put my very vague idea into paper and make it exceptionally beautiful. He added detail I would have never thought of. I had my first ever tattoo at 3 tattoo, I was nervous but Tony walked me through the process and ended up with a beautiful piece, I had such a great impression that I immediately scheduled another session to start on a half sleeve that had been on my mind for years! We worked on the second piece for almost a year, and Tony was always professional, friendly and amazing at what he does, he goes above and beyond to make you as comfortable as possible while getting worked on your piece. When first arriving at his shop, I was taken aback by the notion it was on the 9th floor of the Coronado Towers building on the west side. I was even more awe-struck when I walked in to the "shop", which is a total misnomer. The look and feel of his studio are inviting, with views of the city 180 degrees around.
