Went to 30 Strikes on a last minute plan since we were nearby. We made the best of it while bowling. Had some drinks from the bar and got sodas for the kids which wasn't too crazy in price. When bowling, my younger son needed the support - if one person needs the support, everyone playing in that lane will have to use it. It's controlled by the people at the counter and they can't add it to just the one person. Ceilings and certain areas definitely need to be updated. read more

Came tonight on a Friday and got a deal one lane two hours, free shoes up to six people 45$. Wasn't too crowded when we got there around 9:00 pm but starter to get crowded afterwards but still plenty of space. They also run pizza and soda deals along with the lanes for you to check out. It was fun haven't been bowling in a long time. Good music playing. Not too crowded which is nice, I hate when everyone feels all jammed up. Definitely family fun! There were some pin mishaps but I am no pro bowler so it didn't bother me lol. read more

My family wanted to bowl here and have some food. They do not have any vegan options. So, I asked if we could bring some vegan food in with us. I was rudely told no without any acknowledgement that they are not permitting vegans to eat while they are there. It makes me wonder if they make any accomodations for dietary restrictions. read more

They tried kicking us out because we hit the guard twice accidentally from two separate bowlers. Both were complete accidents and we are almost certain at least one was not our fault but the machines. Not to mention other issues we've run into such as the machines acting up and the place being GREASSSYYY. I will gladly go bowl at a different establishment. Don't spend money on this one establishment. Even the employees call the owner bad words. read more

A place where the owner likes to decide what can and cannot be worn. Allows short, revealing, and tight clothing but god forbid a shirt contains a curse word. You'll be asked to not wear it there again. Lets not forget the half naked music videos that are displayed/playing but a shirt with a word, not allowed. Its fun and definitely relieves stress and gets you to relax after a long work week (and trust me, it was long enough that I saw me doing this on Wednesday). I wanted to take ny oldrst son out and spend some time with since our household went from 5 to 4 with my daughter starting the spring semester at Clark Atlanta University. Came to 30 Strikes on a Friday night in early January. Very friendly, fun, and loose atmosphere as the bowling lane was somewhat packed but not overly packed. My oldest son and I came inside tge lane and we wete able to get a lane for several bowling games along with bowling shoes. Started off with us putting our bowling shoes on and tgen going through the rver important process of bowling foran evening - picking a bowling ball to conquer my opponent with with all the mess he was talking. I shall...proceed...to continue...to bowl theeese strikes. Started off slow, both my son and I but I have never been one to talk smack. Rough couple of games to start. Are you winning if your goes in the gutter or off to the right not knocking down a significant number of pins. Well this was my reality. Bad: Did not get a chance to sit down and eat at 30 Strikes. I had intentionally planned for us to enjoy the remainder of the night goin ojt to eat. Pizza I would have passed on because it just did not look like pizza I would like. Final Rating: Awesome awesome awesone bowling experience overall. I enjoyed myself tremendously with my oldest son and definitely would enjoy coming back here sooner than later. read more

This place brings back memories for me. Memories of the 70's and 80's. Its old, but kinda cool. Don't come here looking for a 5 star experience. Do come here to bowl a few games for not much money. We bowled a few games, had a few beers all for only a fraction of the cost at any other alley. For the price, A-OK!! You want a five star experience, try another alley. read more

Nicest staff of any bowling alley I've been to in my life. 10 dollar pitchers, 8 dollar bowling from 9-12 on thursdays (including shoes) and 80 glorious lanes for you to choose from- many of which are real wood and original to the 50s. Great music, great times and a gem of an establishment worthy of saving for another 70 years. read more

I've lived by this bowling alley my entire life and didn't really think much of it until my good friend started working there. I came to visit her and order food from this establishment, the food was great and the working staff was even better. To my disappointment, the manager had a problem with me coming in and ordering food. She said I was "hanging out" when I was giving money towards their bowling alley. She did not have a problem with me coming in until about the 3rd or 4th time. I just sit down and eat my food. I will never be returning to 30 Strikes. read more

Its not the trendiest location, but it's clean and affordable. My kids like bowling here and they have some good deals for families. Had a birthday party for my daughter and her classmates and everyone had a great time. read more

This place is absolutely awful. The staff is extremely rude and disrespectful to the customers. I've gotten attitude from everyone all night and even when I went to the manager to complain, he shrugged his shoulders and said "Okay." If you're looking for a good time for your family, this place ISNT it. You're much better off driving a couple extra miles to a better alley and get better service than this trash bowling alley. read more

The weeknight specials ... Tuesday $1 nights, Wednesday Ladies nights, and Thursday $5 open bowling, etc. are the absolute BEST bowling prices I have seen in a decade and I frequently take advantage of them. The La Martinique bowling center (now owned by 30 STRIKES), is large enough to accommodate any size group. The food is standard fare for any bowling alley... not too exciting, but not overly expensive. This is a no frills alley which is adequate for the serious bowler and priced affordably for the casual bowler. Just B101 playing during the midday (which I could rather do without) but they also have live acoustic music on Thursdays and are apparently trying with the discounts to bring back the younger crowd with facebook and other promotional outreach. They also host some pretty significant local tournaments and charity fundraisers. Went to their Ramagli's pro shop recently and got a custom ball in just 20 minutes. Having gone to two other places before and been given a ball that started to cramp my hand, I was unsure where to go. I was pleased with the results here. Mr. Ramagli's pro shop understands the game better than most and is able to accommodate any level of player, from beginner to pro. read more

Horrible counter service! We were questioned from the time we walked in. Our group arrived staggered over 10 minutes and we had to explain why we were waiting. The counter person emphasizing that the family special was for 6 but our group was 8; as if we couldn't have spectators. Then didn't want to accept our coupon. When we asked for bumbers the counter person said that she didn't see children under 10 in our group. That's pretty crazy since they stared at us while we assembled our group. We have 3 children and one handicapped adult but why does it even matter! Do I need a reason to ask for bumpers! It was awkward and humiliating. We won't be returning! The actual bowling is fine, however I would say that the difficulties of starting the first game is present. I've gone here before and every time you go to the lane the pins aren't set up properly or the computer isn't ready, it's always a hassle. But my main complaint is the staff. Completely rude, especially the owner. Even to their own staff they'll berate employees right in front of everyone, makes it a very hostile environment. RACIST Trumpville to say the least. We came out for a fun night of bowling and got ignored, overlooked and treated rudely more than once. I stood in line for 10 minutes alone waiting to be served (not an issue because I understand some orders take longer than others and the server was working on pizzas). The server looked at me multiple times and never said "Ill be with you shortly" or "one second" or anything. It was as if I was clear (or maybe just black). 2 white bowlers came to the counter and instead of standing in line behind me they approached the counter and stood next to me. The server who saw me in line waiting the entire time decided to take not just one of the white bowlers orders but both. When I asked her why she responded with a bad attitude "How was I supposed to know who was here first" and proceeded to complete the second guys order. That along with the unwelcoming glares. Attended on 3/5 coming in from PA to celebrate my Granddaughter's 7th Birthday. Very quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. 6 of us in the family were bowling and it was my Grandson's first time bowling as well. Of course we had gutter guards! We had a wonderful time young and old. Pizza was EXCELLENT way better than Tilt in Voorhees or Chucky Cheese in Deptford. They allowed us to bring in a Cake and eat the Table(s) in the Lane. Both of my grandchildren have special needs and they were very welcoming and accomodating. Bancroft School also had a group nearby but there was plenty of room for all. STAY AWAY!! I took my 11 year old and 3 year old daughters and will NEVER be back. This place is disgusting and falling apart. As soon as I walked in there were 3 buckets collecting water that was dripping from the ceiling in the entrance way. We got our shoes and started to bowl. I asked if there was a way the bumper guards go up only for my 3 year old and no....not an option, once up they stay up. I went to the bar to get a drink and had to find someone after 5-10 minutes. I walked over near the kitchen and stated excuse me. A woman (who's name I found out was Theresa) came around the corner and served me. A short time later I asked for a pitcher of water and was charged $1.50. Really?!!!! For some tap water, ice and 4 dollar store plastic cups! A while later I went to the woman's rest room to change my 3 year old and found no changing station. I went back to the desk and spoke to Brian (manager) and asked if they had a changing station. Brian stated their was a playroom where the changing station was located. During our walk I asked him why they (Bowling Ally) charges for tap water and his response was a shrug of his shoulders and a I don't know. You're a manager, you should know all aspects of your job. Upon entering the play room I was horrified. It smelled as of it housed stray cats and smelled as so. There was a huge leak in the ceiling and pieces of drop ceiling that had fallen in a heap on the floor with some buckets. I changed her as quickly as possible as I was becoming nauseous from the strong cat smell. At the end of our game Theresa walked by and I asked her if the manager was in and she stated his name is Brian, the younger one at the counter with blonde hair. Theresa then asked if there was anything she could help me with and as I stated why which only took less than a minute and when I was done she rolled her eyes as she walked away. I saw that but wasn't going to say anything but my 11 great old pointed it out. Theresa a word of advice...don't ask if there was anything you could of helped us with if you weren't genuine about it and watch your body language it was rude! This bowling alley is the absolute worst in the South Jersey area. I am an avid bowler and I have seen my fair share of different bowling locations. But 30 strikes is on the bottom of my list. Me and a group of friends attended on a Tuesday "Dollar Night". First off, the place has about 70 lanes and maybe 30 of them are even usable. I assume this is why they changed the bowling alley's name to 30 strikes. The other 40 lanes look like they are so old and beat up that Paul Bunyan himself cut down the wood to make the lanes. 30 strikes was completely overwhelmed by the number of bowlers they had for their WEEKLY special. People were being assigned the wrong lanes and computers were shutting off. Me and my group of friends were put on a lane(66) where the ball return worked maybe half the time, and the lanes were all around just terrible. The staff did us no favors either. Every time we would have a ball stuck it would take at minimum 7 minutes for us to receive help. Not to mention the employee who helped us reeked of marijuana. This was an all around terrible experience and it ruined my Tuesday night. If you are trying to pay for cheap bowling while hanging around a bunch of deadbeats, this is your place. read more
