Only drinks here are from going to the bar. 1.5 hours and no one even walked over here. This is normal here.

Service is horrendous here every time. 2 fulls games without even being talked to. Downstairs bar is backed up and upstairs is closed. I think management just doesn't care

Came here for a date on a Saturday afternoon and had so much fun! We had to wait about 45 minutes for a lane to open up, but we didn't mind because we were able to sit at the bar and have some drinks. I had a beer and it was a refreshing pick me up on a hot day. Shoe rentals are $5/person and the games were $14/game. You can pay by card at the bar but the bowling is cash only. There is an ATM on site. Couples can play up to 3 games max.

We really enjoyed North Bowl. It's located in Northern Liberties. It's a great lively atmosphere with good music. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the bowling lanes. The parking was a challenge but we eventually found a good parking spot. It's worth a visit to come out and go bowling.

Went to a wedding celebration here on Saturday night. The ceremony was held outside, out front of the location. It was so nice! After that we went in and up to the second floor. There were appetizers out for us to help ourselves to, a DJ playing music and a bar ready to serve some cocktails! All of the staff were friendly! Guests were enjoying the food, drinks and bowling! What a I've place to have a party!

A very cool and trendy spot! Came with a group of friends and had a great time! Unfortunately they do not take reservations so it is first come, first serve. We were able to hang at the bar or upstairs while we waited for a one to open up. Upstairs is very nice with a second bar, pool table and games. Ordered pitchers of beer and small snacks like the tots. I would love to come back here again. Fun spot!

Covid has produced some crazy things. Like closing down bowling alleys. However, North Bowl has hunkered down and continued to do great things. Their outside lot is spacious and plenty of tables available. It's first come, first serve for the tables, and they open at 1PM in Saturday's. They let us in a little earlier to snag drinks before the kitchen opened up. Overall, great service and good food! They have a very vegan friendly menu and offer a variety of drink options. We snagged: -Downeast Cider -All Day IPA -Chicken Basket that comes with corn AND fries. Lots of food for only $10. Great deal if you ask me. Go ahead, ask me. Heard they're opening up their bowling ally week of August 17. Not sure if I'm ready for that, but I'm sure it'll be a hit for young folk in the area. Be safe y'all and wear your mask. Also, get the chicken basket at North Bowl.

Ask the Community - North Bowl

Can I bring my newborn and puppy here? I would be shoulder strapping the baby and having the puppy in a stroller.

yeah please don't. That sounds like a group better suited to an outdoor park than a trendy bowling bar

    Is this cash only?

The bowling yes. The bar, No. There's an atm on site tho.

What is the cost per game?

Happy hour from 5-7 Monday-Friday is 4.95 per per per game. Otherwise it's 5.95 per person per game.… Read more

There are new items advertised that I really wanted but the worker I spoke with didn't know how to make them, they only allow orders on the kiosk, and the kiosk didn't have the new items. I tried to tell the service desk about the missing items so that the food workers can just simply say if this location doesn't offer the new items yet rather than tell me to keep looking at the kiosk and rather than have a mini physical billboard showing. One of the workers assumed I didn't want to wait in line and I wasn't trying to order food at the game desk. I was just trying to let someone else know besides the one food worker I spoke with because the food worker didn't have access to taking notes or calling someone up to make note of the issue or to even know to say that they did not have access to add to the menu electronically (whether that is actually true or not lol). There needs to be a better system for people who try to give honest feedback to help things run more smoothly for relative anomalies like this. This Round 1 is convenient and I can understand them selling out of a figure I wanted but some of this other stuff , especially with the notification I offered, could've been handled better. I like Round 1 more than Dave and Buster's but I like other Round 1s more than this one. It is less likely I stop at this one unless it is on my way enough. With the parking hassle, needing to know which one entrance is open because sadly the mall is not doing well, makes for a kinda shaky experience. Sincerely, an interested customer that is probably annoying for trying to calmly point out a few problems in-person in brief but then writes these annoying reviews lol

Second game the game didn't record the score correctly. This place is ran by a bunch of kids so they are pretty much hanging out the whole time. I stood at the front desk trying to get help for 10 min and i walked over to the door and all the employees were hanging out goofing off. They called security on me and told me the manager was gone and no one could help me. Place is really cool but sucks it's poorly managed. I can see why it has low stars

I initially had a photo of my valid driver's license, but when that wasn't accepted, I went back home (about 15 minutes away) to get another form of ID. Before doing that, I called the venue to make sure I brought something acceptable. I was told that a birth certificate would be fine as long as it showed my date of birth. Trusting that information, I rushed back with it so I wouldn't miss the show. When I returned, security told me it was not acceptable. Trying to resolve the situation, I called the venue again while I was there, and the person who answered told me they had not spoken to me and that a birth certificate is not accepted. When I asked if they could check or connect me with the person I had spoken to earlier, I was told no. At that point, there was nothing else I could do, and I ended up missing the event entirely despite making multiple good-faith efforts to comply. I also want to note that I did have other forms of ID I could have looked for, like my passport, but I relied on the information I was given over the phone and acted on that. To make things feel even more inconsistent, someone I was with who got inside told me a 16-year-old was able to enter, and I later saw a related post on TikTok. I can't personally verify that, but it added to the overall sense of unfairness. Overall, this felt like a serious breakdown in communication that cost me time, money, and the experience I paid for. I hope the venue can improve how staff communicate with guests so others don't go through something similar.

Lanes were not cheap and are very limited because more than 75% of the lanes are being repaired. They were even working on them on a Saturday night which was a little distractive while trying to focus on getting your ball down the lane. The lanes were unique and that the pins odd strings on them and that's how the pins were reset. My least favorite thing about the bowling alley was that when the balls were returned, they came at a high speed and if your fingers were in the wrong place or you were trying to get a ball at that time, you could really injure your fingers getting them pinched between balls. I included a video of how quickly the ball sneaks up and how concerning this would be especially if a child was playing. During our game, we ordered food and non alcoholic drink drinks from the bar. This is a BYOB so you can bring whatever you want to drink and they do have some mixers that you can buy if you don't bring your own. The food didn't get great reviews. There was one bartender and unfortunately she wasn't there about 50% of the time. There were often periods of time no one was behind the bar for periods long enough that I had to return for my turn to bowl. The video games are expensive. I bought a $20 card and was shocked to see how quickly it ran through. I personally didn't opt for the glow mini mini golf but that did look fun. My favorite activity was the bumper cars. Be warned, some of them do fully invert! I feel like Dave and Busters at Franklin Mills provides a better bowling arcade interaction and has better food and bar services.
