I had a very disappointing experience with 316 Customs. I initially called and explained the issues I was having with my car stereo, and they assured me over the phone that they could fix it. I brought my vehicle in, they worked on it all day, and I paid $250 when I picked it up. Unfortunately, the stereo was not fixed. It had a noticeable reverberation issue that was not present before. When I brought this to their attention, I was told, "that's just the way it's going to be," and they refused to offer any type of refund or partial refund. During that visit, my boyfriend became frustrated and made an inappropriate comment, which I do not condone. However, we tried to handle things more appropriately afterward. The following Monday, I called again to report that the Bluetooth was also not working. They told me to bring the vehicle back in and promised they would fix it. When we returned on Wednesday morning, they took one look at my boyfriend and immediately told us to "get the f*** out" and refused to do any further work on the vehicle. At this point, I paid $250 for repairs that were not completed, and they refused to make it right or even attempt to fix the remaining issues as promised. I had an alarm installed last July. The remote stops working within the year warranty. Then the shops owner comes out to tell me I damaged the remote with water. The button just fell out of the back of the remote. I never got the remote wet and there was no water indicator on the chip board inside the remote. Then they keep my remote, tell me they will order me I new one which I paid for, and because I left an honest review on their Google they refunded my money and banned me from the shop. Now I have no remote and am out over $700.00. Beware of this shop and viper products. They don't honor their warranty or stand behind the product they sell. read more

These guys are top notch. I needed my old remote start removed due to battery issues. I ended up having them install a new one and they were able to do it same day. They did a wonderful job and the price was way better than expected. If you need a radio or automatic start install, don't go anywhere else!!!!! read more

Had a custom part put on. The bolt fell off while driving on the highway and ripped the underneath my car off. Had to have the car towed to the shop. When I explained what happened, I was told "those things happen ". Didn't even have the custom part on my car for a month. read more

I am not happy with my purchase from 316 Customs. Seriously avoid doing business with them. ALL SALES FINAL. NO REFUNDS. I bought a wiring harness kit for a car, and the total was $268.74. Yes that's a lot of money. I needed the harness, so I paid for it. Then I found that Autozone had the same harness kit for one hundred dollars less! And if this part is like most other parts out there, It could most likely be found online for a lot cheaper than Autozone. My point is, now that I know I can get it a lot cheaper at another place, and possibly way cheaper online, I can't just return this item to 316 Customs and start this process all over again. 316 already thought about all this, and they know that they are severely overpriced, so right there on the bottom of the receipt, of course after you handed your money over to them, you can see the words "All Sales Final. No Refunds." I'm very upset because I would have just stopped what I was doing, and not bought from these people if I knew that I would be stuck with this forever, no matter how much of a better deal I found anywhere else. I got ripped off by 316 Customs, and I cannot do anything about it. BEFORE YOU HAND 316 CUSTOMS ANY MONEY, ASK THEM WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR THE PART YOU NEED, THEN JUST GO ONLINE OR SOMEWHERE ELSE AND BUY IT FOR 50 TO PROBABLY 85 PERCENT CHEAPER. I messed up by doing business with 316 Customs, but hopefully this bad review I left them will cause other people to avoid them, save their money, and get what they want for a fair price elsewhere. Even if just two people a week from this point forward see my review, and spend their money at an honest business with fair prices instead of here, that would be awesome, and will save people a bunch of money. read more

I bought a stereo system from 316 for my Harley last January and had them install it. Didn't ride my bike until April, May it started messing up. My friends and myself replaced the stereo and found that they had left half the screws out that hold my speedo meto and tack and bracket for stereo head. The faceplate was all scratched up the hand control stopped working and I was supposed to get a under the fairing radio intina, I didn't get . when I took it back they said to bad no refund because I replaced it with a stereo I bought somewhere else and the old stereo wasn't in the bike, I guess they don't know how to check out a stereo to see if it works if it's not installed The owner told me they are not burger king and I don't get it my way. I picked 316 Customs to re-tint the back window on my Ford Mustang as it was bubbling up for whatever reason. I chose to go here literally just because of their location BUT, I'm soooooo happy with the job they did. However, the price point was higher than other places I had called- lame. Overall, I'm really happy and would recommend. Everyone was nice on the phone too! read more

Man, I can't say enough good things about these guys. I have had them install about 4 radio's for me, 2 back up camera's, had them install a light bar, Amp, Door speakers, Tint, upgrade electrical in my car (big 3 upgrade) and they even have fixed my door locks, window regulators, and rewired some cheap tow mirrors that I got on ebay. If its electrical, they can do it. I am a really particular guy, and VERY anal about my car, and the work these guys do is up to my standard.....EVERY TIME. The wiring that they do is all soldered wire loomed and heat shrinked. They cut no corners and their install's look factory. They have got every project done ON TIME......even if that means that they have to stay after hours. Nothing I hate more than something taking way longer than expected. I made an appointment to have some wiring fixed on my Harley, had to wait a week and half for the appointment. I walk in and greet the person behind the counter and let them know I have a 9 am appointment. I'm told "be with you in a minute". Another customer comes in and after speaking with teh person behind the counter that customer comes to me and asks me if I'm having equipment installed. I told him no I'm having a fuck up fixed. The employee from behind the counter starts yelling at me telling me that I don't need to talk to his customers like that and to get the "Fuck out of my store"!!! I told him that I did not say it was a fuck up by 316, then he tells me that the equipment they put in was not under warranty from 3 years ago and I told him I was pretty sure it was not under warranty. Teh employee again screams at me and repeatidly demands I "GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE STORE!!!!" Needless to say I will not ever go back and advise anyone who purchases any equipment to be ware of teh piss poor customer service. This place is not the same as it was 3 years ago, frankly I'm surprised Brian has let it get this bad. read more
