I was able to purchase a few Christmas art pieces for less than $30 each. Everyone in the store was so friendly and I appreciate the flow of the space from booth to booth and the cleanliness. They also offer several fun classes you can do- my mom and her friends are doing a cheese board class there soon. Overall it's a great way to shop local vendors and support the community.

I was impressed that some of the vendors had tags that said "vintage" and also "NOT vintage". I have never seen that before. A lot of vendors will try to fill their "vintage" booths with a mix and pass it all off. It helped build my trust in the vendors there. Pricing was surprisingly fair, depending on the vendor. No restrooms for customers. Music was glitching the entire time we were there, cutting in and out. Would have rather had it off altogether. We bought a cute little brass owl that we love. We made an offer on a larger piece that was below what the vendor had marked it. We were leaving town the next day and by the next day still hadn't heard back. Tried calling before we left and it went to a voicemail that was full. Called again from the road and someone answered, but then I guess set the phone down (?) for a while... I ended up hanging up because it had been a WHILE. She ended up calling me back to tell me the offer was not accepted and I said ok, thanks for letting us know. It's a cute store but some weird vibes. I think vendors will miss out on sales based solely on the customer experience in the shop. It doesn't really want to make you stay long enough to walk the whole building, and that's going to make you miss out on potentially really cool and reasonably-priced finds.

Michelle the owner, is very patient and goes to great lengths to explain the processes involved before and during the glass blowing. You can tell Michelle enjoys glass blowing and that passion makes the class even better. Quinn was very helpful and answered a lot of questions I had about glass blowing. I highly recommend this experience. There are all sorts of items you can make, from ornaments, snowmen, pumpkins, glasses and more. Thank you Michele and Quinn for a great experience! We will be back. And after your glassblowing experience, you can enjoy a beer at Red River BrewPub. (The experience takes place in the brewery.)

I have a vintage film camera that's special to me and my husband, we took it all around Europe together, even into the Louvre! I hadn't planned on taking any pictures (it doesn't even have a flash on it it's very old) but I didn't want to leave it in the car because the heat can ruin the film. I got snapped at and had to leave it in a closet at the front. Then when we left, "oh, you can't take that camera in the gardens either". Dude. Let me tell you something, "art gallery" of Shreveport, you are not that special. Whatever art you have here, is not worth being so obnoxiously pompous that people never want to come back. You are a tiny cockroach of the art world. And reading other reviews where you've been so protective of it that it turns people off from actually enjoying anything, large groups and little kids, makes it even less special. A simple "no photography allowed, sorry" would be enough to let me know I can't use my camera. My camera that took a photo of the Mona Lisa but can't be allowed NEAR whatever motel art y'all have.
