Thinking back on it, I was expecting maybe extra welcome for undertaking the trip to Missouri during Covid for the wedding, but if this woman was the reason the wedding couldn't be rescheduled, I get it now, no sympathy or extra welcome for out of state travelers would ever be had from her! My fiancé and I recently attended their Open House and it was wonderful - gave us the chance to meet the vendors, check out some of their offerings, and even get discounts. I'm not sure if this is a deal that is offered all the time, but so far at every event I've gone to, I've gotten a flier advertising that if you book four or more WC vendors, you get more discounts and freebies. The only downside is that they only offer one of each vendor - one cake decorator, one florist, etc. I'd have loved to see a little more variety to compare their services. Still, WC gets a big thumbs up from me! The vendors I've met through there are all experienced and very friendly and helpful. One of the vendors we were hoping to meet had stepped out, and another vendor helped us get in touch with her and was even able to tell us a little about her services just because he knows her business from working with her so much. All we had to do was show up. They took care of everything from set up to clean up. The bridal suite is very large, several mirrors, electric outlets, chairs and couches. The groom suite is an amazing space. Set up like a large theater with reclining chair seating and theater size screen. Definitely a guy hangout while waiting on the beautiful bride and her girls. Set up was quick and easy, and the venue is absolutely beautiful! The location was perfect, and since it was just after Christmas when they got married the Christmas lights and the tree in the square made for magical pictures. The outside patio was perfect when quests wanted to cool off or take a break from the dancing, and the staff was lovely and timely when it came to the tear down process, getting us all home at a resonable time. I would absolutely suggest the Veridian for any event, especially weddings.
