Excellent food and Excellent service. Steaks were cooked to perfection as were the pork chops. It's a bit pricey but the steaks are huge.

Definitely make reservations if you have a larger party. Restaurant has a decent bit of bar top seating at an older looking bar. They sat us in a back room at a very nicely presented white table clothed table. We ordered the hot crab dip for an appetizer. It was delicious. 10/10 recommend. For my entree, I ordered the 8 oz filet medium rare with the brown sugar brussel spouts. I almost always have to season my steak, but this was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Carley was our server and she was the perfect mix of being attentive while also not being at our table too often. Next time I am in town, I'll definitely be stopping by for dinner.

But we will definitely make a trip back this way to eat here again. Filet was by far the most fantastic thing. Hands down you should get the filet. Are you a ribeye man? Get the filet. The medallions were good but the filet was superior. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend the sweet corn casserole. It was sweeter than cake, sweeter than icing. This would have been ten star on if they went a more savory route. The twice baked potato was delicious incredible. And surprisingly, the Caesar salad was one of the best we've ever had. And we have traveled a LOT. We really REALLLLLLY enjoyed the beverages from the bar. They were mixed perfectly. The signature old fashioned (BW) is a little n the sweeter side but really full of flavor. It was a nice little dinner!

I don't believe the temperature on their fryer was correct because fries were horrible with grease and undercook. I cut into my sandwich and the entire middle was raw chicken, not a spot but the whole breast. I took the food back to the kitchen and they said they would make a new sandwich. that sandwich came out with the smallest piece of chicken and so over cooked the breaded coating was a hard shell. my husbands hamburger was tasteless and he had the same overly greasy fries. so disappointed as I wanted to try out a cute restaurant located on a landing strip. will not be going back.

When we asked about it, we were told the whiteboard price reflected inflation, but it was a little confusing since the menu hadn't been updated. Also, the pie didn't have meringue on the entire piece, which was a bit disappointing. The chicken from the bar wasn't up to temperature (although the fish was), and the hamburger was very dry and had a cardboard-like texture. I personally found most of the food to be overly salty, but that may just be my preference. We also noticed the customers ahead of us returned their chicken sandwich because it was undercooked. That said, the atmosphere was fantastic--watching the plane take off was a really cool experience! We also appreciated being sent home with drinks to go, and our server was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu.

Been a year or so since last visit. First notice was no upgrade to restaurant. Actually should be…read moreclassified as a high price dive bar. The place is kind of a dump. And oh boy, prices are way more expensive. Most steakhouses Dont even have chicken fried steak on the menu. But at Jims it went from $16 to $27. I got invited to go, not my pick. At $27 it was one of the cheaper options. The burger was $17, and fish sandwich was $19. And they come with nothing. To add fries they are $5 for off the truck frozen fries or $8 for "hand cut " fries. A baked potato is $10. Those prices may not be shocking at all fine dining restaurant, but Jims is just an overpriced dive bar. BTW, the chicken fried steak was huge. Impressive on the plate. I made sure to have the gravy on the side to not make the fry soggy. The fry was soggy and lukewarm warm in temp. Lack of seasoning and no crispness is best description. Side salad was something you would expect at a diner. Worst part of the iceberg lettuce. Highlight was the baked Idaho baked potato. Problem is they brought me cold to fozen butter in foil and very cold sour creme. I spent 10 minutes building the potato they could have spent a little time trying to wow me. Wouldn't matter, you could order the flagship $70 porterhouse and would end up with the same deal. Jims is an overpriced dive bar masking as a high end steakhouse
