I have been anxiously awaiting 32 Social's opening!! I love Cafe Rica for nitro cold brew, but as winter has arrived - I want me some good lattes & 32 delivers! 32 Social's coffee is roasted by Poplace in Detroit & the tea is from Tudor Tea House in Kzoo! I always get their cherry almond scone as well. It's usually freshly baked from the oven in the AM! They source these from Dark Horse! They also have a bacon, goat cheese & date one but I enjoy the cherry almond the best. The goat cheese is a bit too goat cheese-forward! The communal space is also awesome -- looks perfect for working away from the office. So, my only gripe is to pleaseeee stay open later! The cafe at Kellogg closes at 3pm, so we're caffeine-deprived zombies in the afternoon. 317/365 read more

I was driving around an empty Battle Creek in the morning, looking for a place to get some coffee. I found 32 Social and what a great surprise. The staff was amazing and I finally found a cafe in the US that knows how to correctly make Matcha. I will be back every time I visit from Vegas!!! read more

I love a great coffee shop & I came across this really cute super chic coffee shop downtown. The view from the outside is pleasing and it's what drew me inside. When you walk in the decor is nice, sleek and clean. Of course the aroma of coffee is intriguing as well. They have a nice high top bar stool type seating in the front window. The staff is really friendly as well. I had the caffeine free Hibiscus Tea which is delicious. A small cup was $3 and is a pretty decent size. The ambiance is nice and is a good place to work or read. I'll definitely be back on several occasions. However, they don't have late hours which is a bummer. read more

As a Battle Creek native I was thrilled to return to my hometown and find such a great craft coffee bar. They had cold brew-- my favourite-- and it was excellent (once I did away with the paper straw that always makes iced drinks taste like wet newspaper, yuck)! Set in a beautifully restored building with lots of shared workspaces, the highlight is the A. Lincoln art exhibit at the back. Be sure to check it out as there is extra seating there where are you can enjoy your coffee. I was there too late in the day to enjoy any pastries, but it looks like 32 Social has a good selection and all the usual espresso options. I don't know where the beans are from but the taste is high-quality. Only docking one star because of the paper straws and the dark, angry music that was a downer when I arrived; however, a customer apparently asked that it be changed and the laidback barista did so, making 32 Social much more social. Cute little coffee shop. Lots of interesting snack choices. The coffees tasted great and were made quickly. My husband got the cereal milk latte which is Frosted Flakes infused milk with a shot of espresso then some cereal on top. It tasted just like your leftover milk. A fun little thing to try in cereal city USA. Would definitely come back here again. read more

Got two different Coffees they was not good at all! threw them away after one sip! Waste of money

The first time I went to 32 Social, they had only been open for a day or two. They had a very limited menu, and while they had a cold brew listed on the menu I was told that they wouldn't actually be able to make cold brews for quite a while. I bought a hot chocolate, and I wasn't a very big fan. It was a bitter taste and a bit water downed. I left with no intention of coming back. The next time that I went, they had been open for about a month and a half. My friend recommended a chai latte. It was probably the best chai latte I have ever had. From then on, my friend and I went every week for about 2 months. When the weather started to get warmer, I decided to try and iced chai latte, and I have never liked any drink as much as I have liked 32 Social's iced chai latte. The workers were always prompt in making our orders, but if you do go to 32 Social at a busy time you could be there for 5-10 minutes. It is a tiny shop, but the workers are kind, they are expanding their menu for both drinks and food, and I hope that this local business stays for a long time. read more

This small shop left a warm buzz in my soul and an iced chai latte in my mouth. I have never let a drink touch my soul in the same way as this one. As I left the building I realized that this was only a first. I realized that this is the shop I would take my mother to while we have our sunday brunch. This is the shop that will house my first date with the love of my life. The shop that my children will go to when they are looking for thay sweet nostalgic feeling of being with their mother. The shop that will forever touch their hearts as well as the hearts of hundreds. I will forever be in debt of 32 social's iced chai latte. It was a wonderful beverage that I recommend to everyone.
