We were going to Dinosaur BBQ around 7:30 PM on a Friday evening...parked on Broadway...and my power window wouldn't go up properly. It was completely off track (I hate power windows)...and we couldn't close the door either. It was pouring rain and by chance I saw Goals Service Station parallel through the elevated tracks. Although they were closing, Anderson, the service rep came to see the problem...said they can fix it, we drive to his station, he locked my car overnight into the service port, I spoke with Rolando the chief mechanic Saturday morning, and it was fixed by that afternoon. Subsequently, they did my inspection this week. Goals is a Shell station, with U-Haul rental, and a grocery area. All the people I met were extremely helpful, did professional work at a reasonable cost, and I recommend them 100%. read more

Rented a u-haul van which was fine. But some advice for this branch: - Don't reneg on the 100% guaranteed box buy back deal. - Do not tell your customer that they can't use the van for the remainder of their 24 hour rental because you already closed the account. - Do not strand your customer at midnight with a load of boxes and no transport. - Do not continually condescend to your customer, and repeatedly call them "puppy". - Do not add caveats like this u-haul branch can buy back boxes ONLY if the customer buys them with cash and not credit card. read more

This place is a scam! Avoid! I bought a used car and went to get it inspected, and was told the front shocks needed to be replaced, among other work, which totalled $730. I don't know that much about cars, but I knew my shocks were fine. I knew it was a scam when they didn't charge me to fail the car for inspection. The following day, I took it to a Mavis out on Long Island, and the car passed inspection no problem. Plug their name into Google Maps and you'll see other people with similar reviews. read more

Took my car for yearly inspection and they said my tires and brakes (inc rotor) were shot and needed to be replaced -- over $800 total -- in order to get the certificate. Then they tried to pressure me into getting the work done right away, quoting 4 hours then 2 and 1/2 hours since I was in a rush. I took my car to two other places (dealer and another NY inspection station) which deemed the car in great condition and got the certificate with no problem. THEY ARE CROOKS. read more

Went in to have my car service cause it started making a loud sound they say ohh u need a transmission.... ok he reassured me everything will be ok only to turn around and tell me after they did the transmission that other work was needed make sure u ask a lot of questions cause they are slick and move like hustlers on the block....,not very honest people when it comes to telling u what's wrong with your car read more

this place had given me service for a while now and i pretty much liked it so far i have no problems. Staff is nice and they been there for couple of years now i understand that there mights be issues for other customers cuz i know how it gets when it comes to getting your inspection done but there are places where you can hand people extra bucks to do your inspection without completely getting your car checked out but thats not the right way. What i have learned that its better to be safe then sorry i've experienced that before coming to this place. This place actually lets me check my car visually while explaining to me about the stuff i need so i can actually see whats wrong with it, most places do not do that, you dont even know if theres anything wrong with it or not cuz they dont really show it to you i've had that experience thats why i highly recommend this place..... !! read more

This place is terrible! They definitely don't know anything about Saabs and I'm not sure they know about cars in general. For 2 weeks I went back and forth with this shop to fix what was thought to be a routine issue of replacing the radiator. But once they fixed that problem, new problems began occurring preventing the car from working at all. They never had the car ready at the time that they promised, inconveniencing me to no end. And each time I did retrieve the car there was clear evidence that they were using the car for their own personal use (receipts from fast food places late night when the car was in their possession, a pack of cigarettes and the smell of smoke in the car when I don't smoke). And I just noticed that my car has a dent in the trunk that was not there prior to them servicing it. I wish I had seen the previous yelp review before leaving my car here so I could have saved myself a lot of pain and money! read more
