I took two HP 65 empty printer cartridges to the Walmart located in Maryville to purchase new ones…read more I selected a two pack 65 ONN XL cartridge pack and showed my empty cartridges to the clerk working in the Electronics Department to ask him if they will work in my HP printer. He looked at the empty cartridges and told me the pack I selected will work. I purchased the 65 ONN cartridges and inserted them in my printer when I got home. An error message came on my printer letting me know that the cartridges are not compatible with my printer even though my printer is one of the models that the cartridges are designed for. I took the cartridges back to the Walmart where I purchased them and the Customer Service Department was closed. A young woman was there and I explained what happened with my cartridges that I purchased and she told me that it's against Walmarts policy to refund money for opened ink cartridges. I asked her to get the manager and he came to talk with me after a 10 minute wait. The managers name is Jonah and he brought two other females and a young man with him. I told Jonah how I brought the empty cartridges with me to see if the cartridges I selected would work with my printer and the staff person acknowledged that they would. Jonah explained how unfortunately it's against Walmarts policy to accept opened ink cartridges and he's sorry that the employee told me that the cartridges would work but there is nothing he could do. After spending another 5 to 7 minutes explaining how it is unacceptable for me to eat the cost of the cartridges when I was told it would work Jonah would not change his position. Jonah asked me what I did with the empty cartridges. I thought he was going to reconsider and refund my money but he explained how he would use this situation for training purposes so this would not happen again. I didn't appreciate hearing how my situation will be used as a training prop for further encounters with customers. One of the females told me I could call the Walmart Customer Service number and maybe they could help me. I also purchased the HP 65 cartridges and Jonah told me they " will not " work if the previous cartridges did work. I thought that was inappropriate to say because I knew the HP cartridges would work. I left the store and called the Walmart Customer Service number I was provided. The customer service representative told me that the manager CAN make an exception because the employee told me the ONN cartridge would work. I went back in the store to speak with Jonah again and he was accompanied by his entourage. I told him that I spoke with customer service and they informed me that he could make an exception. He had a blank look on his face and he told me that he could but he wasn't going to make an exception. I asked him why and he just said he wasn't going to. His response made me angry because he blatantly lied and could have made an easy decision to refund my money based on the circumstances

It seems most things need to be ordered online, well if I'm going to do that I will shop at Amazon who has same day or next day delivery, I think they thought the remodel would make them more like a target.. wrong. Target , even though I don't shop there is more pleasing to shop at. I go to Walmart less and less . I used to be able find what I needed. Not now. Just visited today with a friend and this place was busy! There was a lot more people than we'd…read moreexpected but the studio and staff were very helpful and able to squeeze us in without reservations...def would recommend calling ahead and booking a spot for next time! We had a fun 1.5 painting our pottery. We were able to choose from a variety of clay sculptures, plates, and figures and both landed on plates. The staff explained the process to us and helped out with picking colors and aiding us when we needed help choosing brushes. Great time for all ages!

Visited this location for my families "family night" and really enjoyed myself. A LOT of workers who seem to be cross trained by Bath & Body Works because they inundate you with "are you finding what you're looking for?" Overbearing. Always. Tried to return a Christmas ornament that was part of my Wishlist catalog order. I didn't realize…read morethat an additional cord was necessary to purchase on top of the 26.00 ornament. I was also purchasing 3 more items. The employee was extremely rude (I didn't know that ornaments aren't returnable even though it's more than 2 weeks before Christmas). I asked her to look up my list to prove that I purchased it there and she said she couldn't find my name. She basically accused me of lying... she said I probably bought all my ornaments from a different Hallmark store (I only shop this one). I even still have the voicemail from one of their associates letting me know that my waitlisted Star Wars ornament had come in. Disappointing because the staff there has always been so friendly. I've never seen this particular person. Maybe she's Seasonal. Anyway... this year I purchased several hundred dollars in ornaments. Never again. There are too many Hallmark stores in this same area to be treated like that.
