Like it is so bad it is distressing. Dude doesn't do what he's doing; has a nasty tone of voice, not to mention lazy. Doesn't want to do anything or claims not to know how todo anything but sitting there in the office with a whole smartphone In his hand watching tv though. It's really sad Yonette has worked very very hard to make that a community laundrymat but this place needs a staff change and they can start by keeping that angry rude Old man away. Nobody knows what they're doing, how to work a cash register, how to work mobile payments, nothing. Not to mention the elderly man who is often there when she is not is incredibly rude and obnoxious (according to her new elderly guy still the same thing though. Like good grief this is how many different people now hired help or volunteer and the experience in this laundromat couldn't be or get any worse no matter who it is when she's not around.) The service here depends on the day, if you notice an elderly man in the office, run because for some reason this old dude hates the world and has a nasty disgusting attitude with just about everyone. Many of the old dudes she's had in and out of there over the past 3 years have been terrible people who don't belong in a customer facing environment. I have been a customer here for many years but unfortunately due to the folks Yonette keeps around when she's not present I will never do laundry here again. Nothing but excuses for the poor customer service. When I first came across this place I had zero belief that many of the reviews about it online were true although that appears to be much different now. I am truly appalled at Yonette and will never patronize her business again. She sets an expectation with customers and then when that expectation can't be met talks over people and like her apparent uncle became rather rude. I learned today that business is apparently now slow at this laundromat and I nave now absolutely learned why. There aren't any words to explain how disappointed I am in Yonette because I truly thought she was better than that. Like I am legitimately flabbergasted that the owner of this business has nothing but excuses when funds have been exchanged. She says she can't hire people, but can't always be there, but then has next to no support staff in the building. I give it one year if that before this place is closed down. Nobody should run a business like that because if you can't afford to keep it open and provide REAL customer service shut it down. You do not make an excuse for someone when it comes to business because now Yonette just looks terrible and has lost business and now everyone knows about it. Called me and instead of addressing my REAL complaint about her business condescending; rude, talking over me, missing the entire point. I DO NOT CARE IF YOUR TOES ARE PRETTY IN PINK, IF I HAVE PAID FUNDS OR GIVEN FUNDS IN ANY WAY I EXPECT A SERVICE. The quality here along with the quality of service among other things is downright shocking. It has descended often into chaos over the years whenever she is not present and this is only the latest example. She had a gentleman working there a while back who apparently actually worked there -- except he too did not know what he was doing and it was always a problem. This is only news to Yonette and it will be her downfall I am almost certain of it because she will not address the many poor excuses for 'help' she's got in there but then in the same breath complains that the store is broke and needs business. Delivery.com and I spend several days trying to get information about where my laundry was and when it would be returned and they kept claiming they did not know but taking NO responsibility. Eventually after tremendous pressure from delivery.com they gave me a 25% refund which felt insulting when I sat around for 2 days waiting for the laundry that they kept suggesting would be delivered any minute--I had to cancel/miss out on multiple plans and stay in my apartment for the last nice day of the season. When my laundry was finally returned my comforter was missing. I have spent 3 weeks trying to get my comforter returned or replaced and they are refusing to take any responsibility. They are saying they have no record of having received it so they don't have to take responsibility. It is 100% their responsibility if they keep bad records and lose people's stuff. They claim they remove comforters and charge them separately from the weight but the weight they charged me for would only be possible if my comforter was included. The person working there over the weekend when they had my laundry admitted on the phone that she did not normally work there and did not understand the procedures so I have no idea how they can be so certain that they never received my comforter. It is getting cold and I don't have a comforter and didn't budget for a new one and this whole scenario is outrageous. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS BUSINESS.

He wasn't the friendliest tailor at first. He quoted me $8 and provided a slip for pick up after 5pm the next evening. I've given this business my money every week for the last 5 years, what made me like the place at…read morefirst was that it is spacious and was clean. As time passed the up keep of this place shows that the owners don't care about the customers. All the baskets have rust and are tied up by shoe lace the quality of the dryers have significantly gone down and after telling staff members you just took your clothes out of dryer that ran for 30 minutes and the clothes are still cold and wet no one puts an out of order sign to warn the next customer. The card slots to start the dryers doesn't read well, so you have to ask one of the staff to put do it for you with a metro card. It has become unsafe it's a hang out spot for disrespectful guys to come and drink alcohol and use the dirty bathroom. The parking lot is always fill with taxis driver who hang out next door. And one of the female staff members is rude to the point you don't even want to ask her any questions. My hope is that they get it together and bring the business back to what it use to be but until then if ever I'll take my business else where.

I like that everything is done through personal interaction. i like that my roommate always forgets her laundry there and they put it aside for her until she remembers she left it there. i like that i can bring in four thousand pennies and the kind gentleman will sit with me and count them out so i can get quarters. i just LIKE it there, and i kind of look forward to doing my laundry because no matter what, i know i'm going to be taken care of. even if the annoying neighbourhood kids are making messes and their moms don't care. the important thing is, the people who run this place are humble, patient, honest, and kind. exactly the kind of folk i want to give my business to. cheers!
