Great local film developing service! I dropped off my film on a Sunday using their 24 hour drop box and received my scans the next day which was super impressive considering they are closed Sundays. The process was super seamless and I know that I can count on them for any future film! Parking isn't ideal as you'll need to get lucky with a street meter (unless there is parking in back i'm unaware of?). read more

This is the only place I trust to develop my film. They are professional, courteous, precise, and fast. I take my roll round 1pm and it's ready by 4pm. They have a little window outside where you give them your rolls (COVID20). They have hand sanitizer, the are is clean. I love love love going to this place! It takes me back to my high school days. I can smell their liquids and it reminds me so much of the 90s. I have digital cameras, expensive and cheap ones. But nothing compares to film. To take a pic and not know how it looks until you develop it. I can imagine that's what giving birth is like. LOL They can process and develop most all types of film medium. I had four film rolls developed and scanned with them. It was a bit pricey but also worth it because of their quick delivery time and excellent customer service. I didn't mind paying a bit more of course because it is a dying industry grappling to survive, that I am trying to support. I was only visiting LA and was leaving in a few days when I got my film developed with them, but their delivery time made it doable for me. They misplaced one set of photos I had printed but later on offered to ship it at no cost to me all the way to Houston. Highly recommend 35m pro photo lab! read more

My biggest issue was that there was a line outside and they were about to close, so I wanted to use the Dropbox because I was in a rush and I didn't feel like I needed to talk or tip anyone. One of their employees started excitedly pointing us and then pointing at the window with 5 people ahead of us. It was 10 minutes before they closed. I have a 35 mm camera that I use colored Kodak film on. All I really ask in a photo lab is for the photos to be developed, scanned, and printed within the week. I love that they have a 24 hour Dropbox, and I think next day photos is a premium. However, I think it is ridiculous to charge customers when they drop it off without seeing how their work turns out. So the flat rate is $16 just to develop. Additionally, it is absurd to charge customers $12 extra for standard scans they'll try to charge you extra for high res/tiff scans. If you don't want scans, they'll charge you $10 to only print. read more

My project was a gallery wall in my hallway. I was in dire need of a photo lab, the thought of doing CVS or FedEx made me cringe. The quality has always been mediocre with them. They are ok for minor school projects for my 7 yr old but not for my gallery wall. This required experts and I'm so glad I found 35m Pro! The pictures came out flawless and I could not be more pleased. Alejandra went above and beyond with helping me, it was not easy. I'm picky, there were lots of different sizes of frames and different type of photo paper to pick from. My project was done within less than 5 days. I will never ever use another photo lab. I was excited to find a place that still developed film. I told the attendant that the film I was dropping off was fairly old. I wanted digital and physical prints. Instead of suggesting just getting the digital prints to see if the film would develop properly then order physical prints, he took my $200 order to process. The turnaround time was fast, but I was so disappointed that the film developed not in color, but all in one hue. Like a black & white photo but with a colored "black" and the photos were awful. I know it's not their fault that the film developed that way, but I did mention that it was old. If they were true professionals, they would have to have known that this could have been possible and suggested to only do the digitals first. I basically paid for TRASH in the way of damaged prints that I can't even keep. Needless to say I am truly disappointed with the service of "professionalism" because they could have had a repeat customer not only for film purchasing but also for developing the film. I have no problem with a business having a policy to serve only vaccinated customers. I do have a problem with a business not publicizing that policy, especially when a customer calls to inquire about passport photos and said business makes no mention of it. I had to drive all the way down there and pay for parking just to be told "nope we can't serve you". read more

I come here almost on a daily basis, weekly forsure. The prices are far from "cheap" but the price you pay is the quality you receive and this establishment goes above and beyond. Always timely and never late with their printing process, 35mm Pro Photo lab boasts a quick turnaround time and have yet to fail me with improper scans or messing up any of my orders (and there have been well over 50 transactions on my side of the counter). I always recommend this establishment to my fellow photographers for both their range of services and the bang up job they provide. Just a heads up. They toss your prints after two months if you don't pick them up. I work 6 days a week and the one day I have off is the day they're closed... Will NEVER EVER bring film here again. I've been a customer of 35m pro photo lab for a couple of years now, I utilize their services and expertise to digitize my boss's photos. They are stellar professionals and all-around great humans. Vince has assisted me with a couple of pretty big projects and he has kept me in the loop during the entire process of the work. The jobs are done on time and in perfect order; thank you, Vince. I called today to try to get a link re-sent for a project that was done almost two years ago and I had zero expectation that they'd be able to assist me, but I was wrong. Mike Z picked up the phone and all of my anxiety disappeared. Mike walked me through finding the large Zip file on my computer and led me to a website where I could upload the large file and email it to my boss, all the while; he remained calm, cool, collected, and more than willing to go the distance with me until I had proof that the email with the Zip file had reached my boss's inbox. Mike told me that he is new to the 35mm pro photo lab and I'm writing this so that everyone there knows that they've hired a top-notch pro and a concierge of customer care. My go to photo lab for the past couple years. The staff is great and helped me retouch a photo I took and everything came out awesome. It isn't cheap, but it isn't expensive, but that's what you get with a diminishing amount of actual photo labs nowadays, right? They usually have a good selection of film at their disposal for you to buy, and the development times are usually within a few hours, so it's pretty chill. Everyone that I've interacted with is helpful, and they obviously know what they're doing. If you have never had film developed before and are looking for a place, this is definitely the place to go. Prices are higher than most places, turn around was quick, they charge you $2 to give you back your negatives. And I'll clarify, they give you your ticket for your envelope, if you do not have the literal piece of paper when you pick up your negatives they keep your $2. I had a photo of my paper and my ID ready to prove that clearly this was mine but I was told without that paper they kept my $2. I know it's $2 but it's the basic level of customer service that will keep me from returning. read more

They gave me a pickup date of May 15. I arrived on May 14th and was told that my negatives had already been shredded. They gave me a new roll of film but refused to refund the money I paid. There is no reason to go to this place when there are other, better labs in this area. This place is terrible. Prices are too high and selection of film is not great. Cool shop. They process film. One of the workers helped me fix a setting on my dslr camera which i thought might have been broken. They dont fix cameras but they have a knowledgable staff that could help possibly help you with minor things or send you in the right direction. Incredible service and A1 quality developing skills. Needed a reprint and enlargement of a 4 X 6 photo taken in 1991 for a memorial service ASAP. Even though it was old and a bit grainy the 5 X 7 results were fabulous! Reprints were finished in less than 20 minutes which Alex told me may not be the norm as they were not very busy today. Words can not express how happy I was that they were able to do this on such short notice. Thank you Alex and everyone at 35m!
