It has taken me a while to write this review because I get a bit emotional reflecting on how great of an experience I had here at Alleen Jeffries. I came in with some artwork that is precious to me and an "idea" of what I wanted the framing to look like. What I appreciate most is the honesty and time the team took to talk me through and find the PERFECT framing for each piece. The team had some very creative and artsy ideas for framing. When one person was stuck on how to achieve a look, they talked out solutions with others. They also saw how nervous I was stepping aside from the "traditional" museum framing, and the team took their time talking me through reasonings for looking at contemporary and fresh framing options. The team was clear about the time frame for work to be done and pricing. When I picked up the artwork, I was shown each piece and cried on cue. Everything was done so well! They then re-wrapped the art, talked me through properly hanging it (each framed artwork came with a good hook), and packed up my car. Allen Jeffries is my recommendation to anyone who needs high-quality framing done. The energy, the care, the extensive variety, and the price-all great. There's even a parking lot in the back, but plenty of street parking as well. This review is long overdue, I've been coming to this location to have artworks framed for several years now. I first went around October of 2019 and have come in every so often since then to have items framed. I've probably had around 15 pieces framed. I have also dealt with several different staff members. Each and every time I come here I am overwhelmingly pleased with my experience. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They are also all clearly passionate about their work and what they do. I wouldn't consider getting something framed anywhere else. One more thing: Do yourself a favor and splurge for the anti-reflective museum glass or plexiglass. The ability to view the piece without a glare from light is so special. It often looks like there is no glass there at all. It's really incredible and it offers the best protection against UV light. read more

I get overwhelmed with so many choices, but the person that helped me the first time(I think his name was Derek). He gave me 3 choices for each piece of art and although I liked all of them, there was always one I liked more. I was very happy with the end result and get compliments often. I really hate giving bad reviews but after going to another framer for other pictures to be framed. Months later I realized I have been ripped off by Allan Jeffries framing. I paid over $600 for custom framing for my photo booth pictures of my family. I wanted them to all be the same size frame wise so that's why I decided to go custom expecting better quality. 1. They didn't make a custom placemat how I asked. They just glued my pictures to cardboard and made simple cheap material standard 8x10" frames. $600! Ridiculous read more

Sent 3 pictures to be custom framed...after 1 week picture framed is wilting like a pleated skirt. I paid almost $300 for a 2 week process they wanted me to wait 30 days. The timeline is unacceptable. The Price is unacceptable especially with the poor quality work on my memorial Photos. I wanted to support the small local business, instead I found a business that was on life support. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else.
