BEWARE! this place does not care about quality control let alone customer satisfaction. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had an old iphone that I wanted the pictures and videos taken off of and put onto discs. Pictures to a disc were $20 each, and the videos to DVD's were $25 each. Not bad.... but when I went to play the DVD on my computer as well as on my TV, the videos were not converted to play horizontal. So the whole time you're forced to crook your neck or watch it sideways! when I told Norman about it, he said that if I wanted them to play correctly, I would need to pay for editing which is $480-$720! Are you kidding?! Stupid. He then blamed me for not shooting the videos horizontally from my iphone. Norman refused to resolve this issue. The least he could have done was to refund me for the messed up DVD's. Oh well... lesson learned. I will NEVER go back here. I suggest you don't either. read more

I live out of town and forgot my envelope of headshots for an audition. I got a callback and had to stay the night in LA and knew that it would be foolish to not have a headshot for the callback. I spoke with Norman and we were able to get an order sorted that also included setting up a headshot to have my name on it. They are always artful and creative yet classy when it comes to choosing a font and color for your name on a headshot. HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE! Never coming here again. I had to come back a few times just to develop one roll of film because Norman scanned my photos on a PC compatible CD only. Not even Mac-PC compatible. He could've just called and asked which format I needed the CD in, instead of just assumed and wasted my time. When I looked through the CD, I noticed a lot of dust and hair that was clearly on the scanner and not on the slides. ~$14 bucks for a low quality scan CD and developed film that was cut poorly is a waste of your time. Do yourself a favor and just develop your roll at the closest walgreens. They'll provide prints and a higher resolution scan CD for about the same price. read more

This place is WITHOUT A DOUBT the best place for headshot retouching and photo reproduction! If you live in LA, it is well worth a trip to Sherman Oaks!!! I tried another retoucher (Hollywood Retoucher) to correct some color, change the background and LIGHTLY retouch my new pic - it was absolutely unusable and after 4 passes, I just gave up! I then went to the PHOTOSHOP got it right the FIRST time. It looks EXACTLY as I had requested - NATURAL retouching, background color change (even in the small areas in my hair!!!), and SOOOOOOO reasonably price!!! Thank you Norman and Mandy! I don't yet have a scanner and needed some prints and slides scanned just prior to moving out of state, as a back up in case something happened to these precious family photos. Found The Photoshop and Mr. Norman G. on Yelp, went to him and it was a great experience. First he asked me how much resolution I wanted, then he gave me a modest price for a couple dozen slides and photos, and they were ready fast, in two days. When I picked up the CD I asked if he still had copies of the files, he did, and I requested that he save them for a month just in case something happened to the disc. (I like a back up plan for the back up plan!) He said he would. Overall excellent service. read more

I live near Sunset, which makes me within walking distance almost of Argentum, Reproductions, Ray, and the one on Melrose I forgot the name...BUT I drive all the way to Ventura Blvd. cause I LOVE THIS PLACE! And with gas being crazy high and I drive a V8 gas guzzler I had my doubts...but in the past I had used a few of the others and THE PHOTOSHOP ROCKS! Their quality and prices are great, and they are so nice! Let them rock your headshot...it cost nothing more and if you dont like it you can design it yourself but I have loved what they come up with. The guy at the front is so nice and his pet cat is so sweet. Hey what more can I say...I will only get my headshots reproduced with them. read more

I can't recommend Rock Your Headshot enough for headshot setup and printing. They have an option where you upload your photo and they'll design the layout for you. The woman who does it is superb!! I just got new headshots and got 3 very different ones printed -- a professional one, a casual one, and a comedic/commercial one -- and she came up with layouts that suited each perfectly, really enhancing the tone of each headshot. The designs had aspects I absolutely would not have thought of on my own. And each one was simple, but distinctly different and so perfect for the image. Plus they are reasonably priced. When you pay sky-high prices, there's an expectation of a certain level of quality. Other reviews on this site suggested this would be a great place to find expertise and creative input for my little project. Instead, all Norman offered was attitude, and with every tiny little thing - another cha-ching. And in the end, even basic stuff was messed up. Learned my lesson. read more

So I googled headshot retouching and these guys were one of the websites that came up. I ordered 50 prints and a CD. Well after a few weeks of wondering where the proof was (it was supposed to take a few days), I emailed them to find out what was going on. Turned out they'd sent it out to my billing address, not the shipping one (that was on the order confirmation I received). So I got the proof, approved it by email and sent the okay for them to ship me the rest of them. The headshots arrived, not the CD though. Had to email again and remind them about that. Their work was ok and so is their customer service. If you don't live close by, a larger, more efficient web based company may be the best bet. read more
