The driver was nice, he was the same one from my first Megabus experience to San Jose! Anyways, I thought he'd stop at Barstow like the last driver but this was not the case. Not a big deal but good to note for future trips. Bus driver may or may not stop so grab some coffee or snacks ahead of time! This time I noticed there was a sign right as we exited the bus in Vegas that had instructions as to what to do to take the buses to the strip. The bus we took ($6 per person) dropped us off in front of Paris Hotel and we were staying at Flamingo so we had to walk a bit with our luggage. Personally I think I'll try to flag down a cab in the future but my friends didn't seem to mind doing that. On the way back, the driver stopped at Barstow but on the other side so we had an option of eating at Subway or grabbing snacks at the gas station. Good trip both ways except the girl sitting behind us was on the way back was on her phone a lot and talked about personal things we didn't need/want to hear very loudly! Well it was canceled and the automated message said alternate transport would be provided. No one came to tell us what that meant so I ran across the tracks to find a worker and ask just for him to tell me I already missed the connection. I was then stranded for 5 hours because my phone was dead. They offered a voucher for Uber but no phone so no voucher. I finally ended up getting home from riverside at 7pm I contacted metro link just for them to tell me theres nothing they can do to compensate me for this terrible experience. Metro link needs to do better.​​

I work for a large charter school that is spread out in multiple counties and we needed buses for our annual student conference in Temecula. We needed to transport students from Riverside and Hemet, and had ordered too many buses. Up until three days before the conference, STA allowed us to cancel buses and only charged us for those we needed. For any school money is an issue - I greatly appreciate Chris Hubbell from STA working with us to stay within our tight budget. We will be contacting them for AL of our transportation needs!
