It is the job of the receptionist to "dun" people for full payment, regardless of any previous arrangements. There are other orthopedists in OKC without having to go thru this rigid billing office.

Recently there has been a change in the billing process and my insurance company alerted me to less than ethical billing practices they were attempting when I called about co-pay and benefits coverage. After an insurance change, PT Central did not check benefits as they said they would, and then demanded a full deductible ($1,000) payment for one visit. For perspective, a cash pay visit is $90. We will not be visiting this clinic again and hope they do not get away with this deception on patients in the future.

He ordered the necessary tests to determine the best course of action. Within 3 months of my first visit I had a 360 spinal fusion. Before surgery I had lost the ability to pick up my feet and walk properly. One doctor I saw did not know how I was standing up right because I no longer had muscle mass on my torso, hips, butt, and legs. I was wheelchair bound without this surgery. The day after surgery I was picking my feet up off the ground and walking. I was able to stand up tall again. Dr. L'Heureux gave me back my life. He cares about his patients. You are not a number but a human being in need of treatment when you walk through his doors. He is by far the best spine surgeon I have seen.
