We were experiencing a low charge on our battery in our 2018 Silverado. We had just replaced the original battery in our 2017 Tahoe and assumed this original battery had reached end of life also. We were directed to the 385 Xpress Lube by the Napa up the street who wouldn't assist us with a new battery install. Upon arrival, we were scheduled within 15 minutes for a new battery install. However, the technician tested our battery and stated it was at 94% and he recommended we should not replace it. Both the business owner and the technician explained our battery had plenty of life left and if we wanted to replace it, we could but they highly recommended not to. They had filled our windshield fluid, tested the battery and alternator and absolutely refused to accept any money for their time and product. Shortly after moving to the area my car would not start. I did get it jumped and had to jump it thereafter to start. I called around and had the battery tested at Napa (bad battery). They referred me to Chris at 385. The helpful People at 385 were able to get me an appointment quickly. I was not able to make my first time, as my car wouldn't even jump start. They came out, jumped my car, took it into the shop, gave me a vehicle to drive and got the battery replaced. My bill was MUCH lower than I expected, they ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. Great establishment! The owner is a class act who cares about his customers. They put their customers above making a dollar. I needed my tire fixed and they changed my oil for free as a thank you for being a teacher.
