I asked if they usually clean up vehicles after service and was told they detailed it after they repaired it but it's hard to keep the dust out with the concrete plant close. so... within a couple hours of "detailing" it was dirtier than before I left it? Gaslight much? I have to take it back because they didn't clip the bumper in properly either. Not sure what else is under the bumper that is not fixed but I'll be taking it to a different body shop to check. Not a good look.

On our southwestern rented #vanlife trip, our 2005 Sprinter Van wouldn't go more than 20mph up…read moreslight hills coming from Mt. Rushmore. When we entered Newcastle we knew we better pull over and call our rental company. After some over the phone diagnostics with them, they called around and found Outlaw Motors who had the diagnostic tool that would hopefully find out our issues. Outlaw Motors agreed to hook us up to their diagnostic tool immediately (we were 1.5 miles away) and work us in for repairs that same day, if what was wrong with us was something they could repair. John came out immediately and hooked us up to his diagnostic computer. Our van was in worse shape than expected. He got 19 codes on his computer, and said there was another page. He'd clear them, and then some of them would freeze up his computer and he'd have to reboot. It quickly became apparent that he wouldn't have the ability to help our ancient van with too many miles and too many problems. He helped us formulate a game plan to get to Gillette to a dealership, avoiding highways, letting us know there was cell service along the way (had we tried to go to Casper, we'd have had hilly road and cell service issues if the van broke down). He also said with it being a bigger town we could have a better chance at staying in a hotel overnight (or more!) while we awaited repairs. He also coordinated with our van rental company to get us on the road. Based on our experience I'd wholeheartedly recommend Outlaw Motors for any repair or tire services. They have a big sign for Cooper Tires which is a brand I've always had good luck with and has great tire warranty service.

I had a front tire on my motorcycle go flat 30 miles outside of town in the middle of the night. I…read morelimped those miles into Newcastle and the next morning checked four other repair facilities before a kind man at Napa Auto Parts down the street recommended I go here. I stopped in and was greeted by the owner, Troy. He wasn't sure if he could help or not, but asked me to wait so he could at least get his mechanics opinion. John, his mechanic, stopped what he was working on and had me pull my bike in a open bay. He looked it over, confessed that he didn't have the equipment to "properly" replace my valve stem that had weathered and sprung a leak. However, with some creative outside the box thinking, felt he could get it replaced and me back on the road. I wondered up front and met Troy's wife, Melissa, who was running the front counter. She was incredibly, warm, friendly and full of conversation. I learned about how their family business has been there for quite some time and before I knew it John approached letting me know my tire repair was complete! The other places in town wouldn't even give me a second thought. Then I strolled into Outlaw Motors and met an amazing team of folks that were determined to help. I can't thank this business enough for getting me back on the road!!! On a separate note, as I wondered around during the repair, I found they have a large selection of classic vehicles for sale. Very neat place! This is the kind of place that needs their own show on Netflix. It would be a hit!
