We were told that he would come back and do the car over as other customers had the same issue. We have scheduled our day around the appointment. They are late and are not communicating with us. My husband has sent a text as well as called. I even called and have not returned any of our phone calls. We are expecting to have to take our daughter's car to a major detailing company that has better after care services. My suggestion is to not pay for services in cash so that in the event there is an issue you can have your banking institution to reverse the charges. I am very disappointed in the outcome of using their services and am extremely irritated with having to pay more money to correct an issue that could have easily been rectified with a phone call and proper scheduling and managing of time.

"Caveat Emptor" Went to Fix-It with Fred for a needed oil change and the air conditioner was…read moreblowing warm air. Dropped the car off told them the problems and mentioned, when braking, the car pulled a little to the left. Later they called with a diagnostic fee which seemed a little high but wanted it fixed. Someone called back the next day told me they had changed the oil and recharged the air conditioning and found leaks at both Schrader valves which they replaced (part of the diagnostic fee I imagine) and I needed $2000 worth of brake work, (front pads and rotors, rear shoes and drums, front calipers, BG brake system service). My response was, "that is a third of what the car was worth, put it back together and the car will be picked up. A total of $2875.81 of work and parts were declined by me. " Just to be on the safe side, two weeks later the same vehicle was taken to another auto repair shop to have the brakes checked, their receipt says "Inspect brakes, approximately 50% -OK". The brakes are working fine. There is probably a large gap as to what is needed for vehicle repairs and what the manufacturers suggests and how much money you have.

We called and explained our situation to Mark. They were awesome to us. They checked it out and fixed the problem that day. When I went to pick up he had neglected to tell me the mounts were almost DOUBLING the original quote. I saw this huge green sign that said Flynn tire and repair I was like fingers crossed they can get my best friend and I back on the road. I walk in looking defeated and Jim Yakley said hi ma'am let me help you. In a matter of seconds he had me laughing and smiling and said let's get you fixed up. Less than an hour and we were back on the road. My good friend up north said Flynn's was the best(she helps manage a service shop!) and was glad that's where I ended up. I will be recommending them to all. They didn't rob me blind. Fixed my tire! Honest and reliable!! One of the most respectful shops I've been in. Clean also! Look if you got $$ for eyes and got yourself too busy to handle customers correctly and in a timely fashion then maybe you shouldn't have a text line or hire another secretary to handle calls. I left my car for a whole day to get done and they acted like it was an issue to leave it another day... um get more people to work, I need my car to work I took off a whole day and they barely looked at it. Then when picked up estimate not even ready and asked questions and was told not to even worry about those things... I have asked other shops and they all tell me oh ya basic tuneup needs done! So I DO NOT RECOMMEND Ridgway. They need to take 2 weeks to cleanup their schedule, hire more people and have more spacing to actually check out the cars correctly and oh ya get back to people in a good time frame not a week later!!!!
