I called RTSS to set up a time to do the shooting portion of the Texas LTC. Got to talk with T.J…read more who was very flexible and made it very easy to set up a time to come by the RTSS Range. RTSS also teaches the study portion of the test so if you're smart you'll do both the study and shooting portions with T.J. and save some time and money as the pricing for both was very competitive. T.J. ran through the shooting portion with me, his instructions were clear and concise as we went through the three stages. I managed to put fifty .45 holes in the right places and passed. Paperwork was signed and when I got home I submitted it to DPS. Now that "Constitutional Carry" has come to Texas you may think that you don't really need an LTC but there are many advantages to having one here in Texas and if the current administration pushes through nationwide reciprocity then bingo!
