The class was for my 13 years old daughter and my 10 years old son. I know how important it's the safety and I was looking forward for them to learn how to use a gun in a safe way. With rules and guides before I took them for more practice. I want to made sure they know what they were doing. It was hot lucky we were prepare with water sunblock and mosquito repellent... I had been discussing with my family (which is majority women) for past 2 yrs. how we need to get licensed even if you don't plan to own. You may change your mind. Fast forward to seeing Trent flyer on Instagram. Before even booking class, he answered all my questions regarding time, recommendations if not comfortable with guns, expectations by end of class. Needless to say I booked for 3 members who all passed. He was knowledgeable and detailed when answering the many questions our class had. By the time it ended all the ladies were comfortable and good to go with testing and range. It was hectic at the range but he took his time calming the ladiea and reiterating the instructions. Trent is an awesome instructor. I have my LTC and some basic handgun skills and wanted to become more comfortable with concealed carry, draw from holster, etc. TGA's intermediate handgun class was exactly what I was looking for! I walked away from the experience confident to carry my handgun safely and to be able to use it if needed. He gave me drills to practice at home, as well. Mr. Steen deserves 10 stars! He is absolutely a great instructor hands down! The class was most informative. I really appreciate the interaction, the "what would you do" real life scenarios, and how he emphasized the importance of being cognitive and knowledgeable of firearms laws. Went with a group of women new to shooting and it was one of the best things I've done in a long time. The instructors were super knowledgeable and really met us on our level to explain gun safety and fire arm use. Some of us were nervous, but the class was interactive and the instructors regularly checked in to make sure we understood the material. Even with a group, we all got enough individual attention instruction to make sure stuff really set in. Great experience!!! read more

Great training class for ladies wanting to pursue their LTC or just wanting to become more comfortable with firearms. I attended the Houston training on 8/16 and it was great! Trent delivered an awesome presentation and provided great guidance and feedback while at the gun range as well. I spent the day in a training course to receive my LTC. Not only was Trenton entertaining he was extremely knowledgeable. The instructor was very knowledgeable and kept the energy up! He was informative about both the laws and the weapons themselves.
