No autism allowed. Also if the staff dont like a book or anything you bring because it isn't godly enough or has any other religion or culture in it they will take it and destroy it. Full disclosure- i work at Path of life camp, this is in response to negative reviews to provide…read moresome insight and context to the complaints- First, we have literally thousands of people through our barn every year, we have nothing to hide and no way to hide it if we did. Unlike many stables that would just send senior horses and hard keepers to the meat auction, we keep our horses through the end of their retirement and natural lives. The gray "powder" mentioned was over 30 years old when the video was posted, and hes still alive and well- we had his teeth regularly inspected, but at that age, they are no longer growing to be floated, instead just being lost as they age- therefore he doesnt eat a lot of hay, but is on a senior ration and supplements. Because of his age and weight, of course he wasnt being worked, just free range exercise, thats a big part of the reason why his topline was in such poor condition. Nobody has to take my word for it, we're an open facility for anybody to come through and see our largely overweight herd for themselves. As for the comments on the facilities and security of our summer camp, its important to keep in mind that this was a teen camp, yes, parents are allowed on campus during the week, but campers are supervised such that while they can be easily found, they cant be just snatched from their group. Within seconds of their arrival, they were greeted by a director and guided to their childrens location. For the facilities, theres no question that there were areas greatly in need of updating, including the bathrooms which were in an incomplete remodel- parts had been done but the shower floors had not yet been resurfaced. This work has since been done. The beds in the dorms have also since been replaced. Even at the time, the mattresses were sanitized every week and intended to be covered in camper-supplied sheets, as indicated in the packing list. In regard to being "packed like sardines" this is flatly untrue, the local health department had required empty bunks and 6 feet of spacing between as a covid precaution, about 60% of the bunks were totally empty. Again, dont just take my word for it- while we're hardly the ritz, the camp is aggressively fundraising and working hard to rescue the facilities from decades of dereliction, and welcome visitors to judge the progress and current conditions for themselves.

They are both very friendly people and Laura cares greatly about the horses. Our trail guide was Molly, a young woman who boards her horse at the farm and does competitions. Molly was extremely friendly and carried my camera the entire ride so she could take photos of my boyfriend and I. The horses are extremely well-trained and great for my boyfriend who was riding a horse for the first time. The pricing is very reasonable at $40 per person per hour. Even though we were 15 minutes behind schedule, we weren't rushed at all and Molly even went over the hour limit. It was a very gorgeous ride through the property of the farm - woods & field. Highly recommended!

The regular day ends at 3:30 and "epic" day ends at 4:30. It would be so much more epic for parents if there was an extended day program until 5 or 5:30.

The staff seemed very accommodating to specific parental requests and most are informative of the daily occurrences. Unfortunately, there were a few happenings throughout the year my daughter attended that brings my rating down. Firstly, management failed to address a staff member that I informed them of being unprofessional. With that, the staff member would flirt and speak inappropriately to my husband, whom she had exchanged phone numbers with - all being behavior that I would say breaches a professionalism manner in all ways. This was brought up several times to management and the staff member remained employed there, even while other parents have had the same issue. Employee meetings were held to review what is and isn't appropriate and the behavior never ended. Secondly, there was an incident where my daughter hit her head. I received a phone call of what happened but the staff was so distraught and were not giving me clear details. They were unaware of the dilation/reaction of her pupils and I was given two different explanations of what actually happened. Once the report was written, there seemed to have been a third explanation on paper on what and how it happened. While my daughter was ok, I had made a precautionary ER visit within minutes of the occurrence as I was unsure of the details of what actually happened - this all made me very uneasy.

My daughter went to Cullman from 10 weeks to just over 1 year old and she and I both loved it. The ladies in her room were amazing, they all took the time time to get to know me and my daughter-they always asked how my day was and genuinely seemed to care. My daughter was always happy to go to "school" in the morning, and didn't want to leave at the end of the day. It was so nice to know that I would be leaving my child in the hands of people who really cared about the kids, who were dedicated to making sure they thrived, and who really enjoyed their jobs. The only reason we left Cullman was because we moved, otherwise we would absolutely still be there!

We were all anxious and signed him only for one week, and mentally ready to go pick him up early in case he wanted to come back. I remember receiving a call from one of the directors two days after Camp started. I thought: my son is homesick and they are calling to go and pick him!
