We took our yorkie in for bath and trim We were called 20 minutes later that she was ready to be picked up. Her back still looked dirty but I thought maybe she wasn't dried yet. When we got home I noticed blood on my hand and husband's jacket. Her little ear was full of blood and down on her collar. One of her paws was also bleeding. To top it all off, she had NOT been bathed! That's what the appointment was for! Her face was still dirty, backside had bits of poop stuck to it and her back and neck under her collar were still greasy. Our dog loved our groomer in AZ but couldn't get out if this place soon enough! Also it's a damn puppy mill! Do Not patronize!

Kathie was highly recommended and although very busy, worked us into her schedule. He normally is groomed on a regular basis but due to the move and some health issues, he was quite shaggy! Kathie did an excellent job shaping him up again. As an older dog (13 yrs) he has some sensitive spots and she was extremely careful around those areas. I think the faculty looks so nice, I decided to try again. The second time, was also Friday- Sunday. I reviewed with the check in girl , for my dog to be fed 3 times a day, he also had printed instructions in his backpack. Plus his food has instructions printed on it. I even called on Saturday to see if they had questions. I picked him up on Sunday evening and he was returned with all of his Sunday food. they hadn't fed him since the night before... they only fed him once at night.. all of his food. They need a better or any kind of system to feed these dogs, or I have been extra unlucky twice.

I did a google search and found Amy's Pet Grooming - Amy and Becky share an office, Amy works on the weekends, Becky during the week. I called on a Tuesday and Becky was able to get me in on Wednesday morning. I dropped Tyler off at 9am, and she said he would be done in 4 hours. I returned at 12:45pm, and she had just finished with his haircut. He was running around the store playing with their small white terrier and her toys. He was having a blast. His haircut looked beautiful, Becky did a great job on trimming him up! I have gotten several comments on how great he looks in the past week! Three people have asked me how old my puppy is - I tell them he's 8.5 years old! It was such a great haircut that he looks like a puppy again! I thought it was a little overpriced at $45, especially for a small town - considering I only pay $30 at my groomer at home, but it did include a bath (which I do not typically do since Tyler loves to get baths at home, and I can use my preferred Shampoochie soap from the Green Stone Soap Company). But, I guess when there are only 4 groomers in town ... it's easy to charge more. He does look beautiful, so it was worth it. Two thumbs up to Grooming by Becky!
