Finding 4 Paws Sake has been such a blessing! We moved to Colorado in January and needed to find a pet sitter fairly quickly as we travel quite often. In the past, I've used 5-star boarding facilities, had someone stay in our home, and had them watched by friends. None of these was the perfect scenario, and I always stressed so much while we were away, especially when we were out of the country. I have never felt so sure that my babies are getting the best care as I do when Tammy, Lee Ann, Jacquie, and Michelle are watching them. I schedule them to come 3 times a day and request an update at each visit. They go so far above and beyond what I expected. After EVERY visit I get a photoshoot of my pugs and kitty, and the pictures are so amazing. My husband and I end up laughing out loud constantly! I've hired them for weekend trips, a full week, and twelve days this last time and everything always goes great. This is the most professional, detail oriented, thorough and polite pet sitting service I have ever used in the past 15 years of traveling and having pets. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! I've never felt so relaxed with my pets being unattended for such a long stretch. I felt more comfortable than having friends help out! I have 2 cats and they received daily visits ($15/day) for a week. Each day we received a text and an email (requested as we were out of the country) and they included pictures and detailed updates. I felt it was an exceptional value, especially considering they watered our plants and took out trash for us. I personally forgot to do a couple things I intended and they didn't bat an eye and rolled with the punches. They scrubbed up a cat accident and used carpet cleaner on it, also without being asked, amazing! Tammy, the owner, is a fantastic person and a great professional. We recently went on a 2 week trip. We have two older labs that are about 100 lbs each and a phantom cat. In the past we have used a local boarding company. The dogs came home with open sores on their knees from laying on cement. These scars are visible 2 years later so we needed a new plan. Enter Tammy and Michelle. Their fee schedule for three visits a day was fair and they did not disappoint! They sent daily pics (Tammy is a great dog photog), updates and brought in mail, took out the trash, and took great care. Everything was in top condition on return and as expected. They have a 7 day a week business and work holidays, so it is a tough business but they do it cheerfully and again, at a fair price. They are insured. I've known Tammy for years and she's always been amazing. She has helped out in a pinch when I've worked late, done regular walks when I was in grad school while working and living in an apartment, and she's helped me house break a puppy. No small feat. I have never needed to use a pet sitting service before, and when I was heading away on a 2+ week trip, needed to find one that would be reliable. I was skeptical at first leaving my house and cat with a stranger for so long. I requested the extended visits for my single cat every day. They were also kind enough to bring in my mail and water my plants and feed and play with my cat as I outlined for them in the original meet-and-greet. I really could not have been happier with the service. I received an optional text and photo every day and they were very responsive if I had questions. They even let me know when a couple packages arrived. On my return trip, I got stuck for an extra day and left out extra food, placed the house key hidden in a secure location, and left a nice extra cat toy as a thank you. I can not say enough about Tammy and her family! I was in a real bind and needed a dog sitter ASAP. I can not put my dog in a kennel and wanted to find a place she could stay at their home. This was last minute and I never used her before but she went out of her way to accommodate me, sent me all the forms and made an extra trip the next day to meet me so we could go over all the paperwork and make sure she fit in so I could leave her, that day. I could not be more pleased with my first experience with 4PS. They were very flexible to arrange a time for our meet and great. At that meeting, their questions and sincere interactions with our furry babies solidified my confidence I was the making the right choice with using their services. While out of town we received multiple pictures that not only alleviated worry of our babies wellbeing but also allowed us to see our babies that we missed so dearly. At the end of our trip we experienced flight delays and 4PS was quick to help out even though we were not scheduled for a visit. When you are traveling and feeling powerless, it is quiet comforting to know Tammy and her team have you taken care of. Upon return, we could tell our dogs were treated with care and love based on their behavior. Our neighbor, who I am not thoroughly convinced likes ours dogs, made it a point to tell us that our dog sitters were "really loving on ours dogs" and that "you picked a good company."
