We had our puppy, Madelynn , there for a week in June. My Husband and I were so anxious b\c it was the first time she had been away from us. The administrator, Karen suggested we put her in the VIP section. Very important pet. In this section they get a little more attention. She was not altered yet so she was red flagged to not play with other dogs, just with the attendants. Videos and pictures were sent throughout her stay. She was able to stay on her Farmers Dog diet. She even got s bath on her last day there. We were very happy with her stay. When we picked her up she was very happy. We can't recommend them enough. Let me start by saying I have the worlds most nervous dog! She also has IVDD (disk disease in back) and she has not been spayed. This was her first overnight stay away from home. Not an easy case. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable and kind they made the process easy and offered so many comforts for my little girl. When I picked her up she was healthy, happy, and smelled wonderful. The only con was a strange phone call I received from them at 9:00 pm with no message and no way to get in contact with the staff until morning, this caused me to be somewhat concerned for her overnight also they could not complete her nail grind in the time frame she was staying told us we had to leave her until 1:00pm in order to trim her nails. This place is a huge facility off e-470 and Parker road. They have tons of kennels, a place for cats if they need to do a stay over and tons of room for doggie play including a pool for doggies to wade into. On that front it is all great! Plus it seemed pretty well kept and clean from what I could tell from the tour and the times I have been in there. We have only used them for short stays (overnight with day play) for our doggies. We generally use another kennel, but sometimes they don't work because of location or schedule so we needed a back up. This one seemed to do the job. It was a bit more expensive than we usually pay, but the location is perfect for us so it is worth it to us. Overall the dogs seemed tuckered out when we picked them up. They didn't give us any details on how they were or if there were any problems so I suppose it was all a-ok. They didn't wow me, but the dogs seemed fine so they will probably get used again in a pinch. Note: I do love their facebook page, they post lots of cute pix of the pups staying over :) read more

We have used Come Sit Stay in Parker for two different dogs. CST shows such love and care towards them, one of our dog learned two different routes and would start howling with joy in the car about half way there. Our new girl, who isn't as demonstrative, starts whining when we get there and sometimes doesn't want to come home. Very negative experience. Picking up a dog for a friend and the receptionist yelled at us very rudely to not come into the lobby, even though the rest of Parker is open for business. Then, because it is outside curbside pick up and the person dropped the leash as she was handing it to my son, the dog escaped and started running around the parking lot; and while me and my son chased the dog down, the 2or 3 people that work there just stood there and watched. This place is clean! I know because I did their drain cleaning - I'm with Metropolitan Drain Cleaning. After cleaning the drain lines I went to flush water through the lines by cleaning a kennel. I looked for a dirty kennel to clean and couldn't find one! Looked around for anything that needed cleaning - place is spotless. I just ran water through one of the several catch basins. So it's now clean inside and out! And everyone is so nice. It was a long, tough job - they have an astonishingly big system under there - but it was a pleasure to work there. read more

My dog Echo is very in tune with what he likes and dislikes. I wanted him to get some socialization with other dogs. We went to a competing day play facility to explore and immediately Echo tail went down and he did not want to stay. He started to nip the other dogs and wanted nothing to with the staff. The place felt off and the dogs were barking as if in cages. After 20 minutes, we left. A week later, we had a death in the family and I had to find quick a place to board him. I discovered CSS! Echo walked in curious on day one and has loved it ever since. I called to see how he was doing and we discussed how he was progressing, food eating and his attitude. I got to see him with pictures and speak with someone regularly on how he was adjusting. I was so happy that he was enjoying himself. He is now becoming a day play regular. My dog and I recently moved from Frankfurt, Germany to Parker, CO. Tim, the owner of Come Sit Stay, accepted and cleared my dog at DIA and waited with her until I arrived at Lufthansa Cargo to retrieve her. Tim was courteous, punctual, and professional. He offered to buy the airline crate from me (that I was forced to buy) - but understood when I told him I wanted a day to think about it. The following day my father and I met Tim at Come Sit Stay - he cut me a check for the crate and then gave us a tour of the facility. It was immaculate - so very clean. It did not smell like other kennels I've been to. We also walked away with a ton of free treats and a complimentary bag of dog food. Tim and his team are amazing. read more

You know how it is when you love your pets-- you want the best for them. In my case, I'd given my dog so much affection that I lost sight of providing her with a focused, calm leader. I knew I wasn't providing her with everything she needed, so that's when my husband and I turned to Come Sit Stay. Like I said: I wanted the best for our dog, and that's what we got. The trainers at Come Sit Stay are knowledgeable, experienced, and effective. They have experience with dogs who run the gamut, from family companions to award-winning International Working Dog Sport competitors, police dogs, and personal protection dogs. The trainers answered every question we had about our dog's training before, during, and after her stay, and they continually encouraged to call and/or visit if we had any questions or just wanted to check in. We chose to enroll her in their three-week in-house dog training program, during which they worked with her on obedience, the dog-handler relationship, and general behavior. At the beginning of her three-week stay, we dropped off a dog who was sweet, but anxious, nervous, over-emotional, and frantic. She panicked in the presence of strangers; forget about taking her out in public. When we picked her up, we witnessed a complete transformation. She's now calm, obedient, focused, and much happier. One of the trainers, Lori, trained my husband and I on how to transfer our dog's new behavior into our home environment, as well as how to re-establish our relationship with her as calm pack leaders. I feel we've been given all the necessary tools to live a happy life with her, without the anxiety and over-emotional reactions she displayed in the past. Most of all, I can tell she's happier. Dogs prefer a structured, calm environment, and that's what Come Sit Stay has taught us to provide for her. I can't sing their praises enough, and believe me, every penny spent on their training program is well worth it. Regarding their facility: It's very clean and well-kept, unlike some other facilities I've been to. There's plenty of space for the dogs who come there to play (which includes the training clients). All the dogs looked happy and the staff was clearly well-trained and capable of monitoring the pack. The kennels are spacious and clean as well. Even the lobby was well-kept, and everyone we spoke to was nothing but pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. We've noticed CSS as we drive by on the highway every day and decided to give them a shot. We usually use Shylo for kenneling, but if you only want to do a 1 nighter (especially over the weekend), Shylo is kind of a pain, so we wanted something good, but easy. The initial sign up process was difficult. We went in for a tour of the facilities, and it was pretty nice for a kennel. They gave us the paperwork for our dogs and I filled it out and faxed it back into them. They then called and wanted me to have my vet fax in the paperwork to them. Other kennels I've worked with usually just ask for the vet and then take care of it themselves. There were some questions about some shots on one of the dogs so it took me a good hour or so and back and forth on the phone with them and the vet and faxing stuff in to get everything situated. That was a pain I don't think I should have had to go thru. The dogs seemed to enjoy their 1 night stay with CSS. They're open 6 days a week for drop off/pick up and on Sundays are open for 90 minutes for the same. We came in Sunday night about 6:30 and they made sure we were paid, grabbed our leashes and then got the dogs and said see ya. There was no update on how the dogs were, how they did, how much of their food they ate, how much they got to play, if they played well, etc. We'll probably use them again for short stays read more

UPDATE: The owner, Lorrie, was able to talk to her staff today and get back to us in a timely manner. She said that the staff said that they did feed our cat. So we concluded since our cat's food was all still in the tupperware when we picked her up that she may have just been fed another cat's food by accident. Lorrie did state that they have made protocol/procedure changes, so this should help to mitigate any future issues. Lorrie also did credit us for 2 days. We bumped up our rating to 3 stars because of Lorrie's timely response. In the end, we were okay with her response. We will still continue to take our dog there. ORIGINAL: We picked up our dog and cat yesterday after 4.5 days at Come Sit Stay. Our dog was fine, but we found that our cat was not fed her food that we provided at all (she has a sensitive stomach) but with CSS's cat food. She also had cat crap all over her, so we had to give her a thorough cleaning when we got home (it wasn't recent cat crap either). Because she was fed with CSS's cat food, she has been puking and has had diarrhea so far. We are disappointed with CSS's performance to take care of our cat. This was just pure neglect and lack of communication between the workers there. We will definitely be calling tomorrow to speak with management and see how they choose to rectify this situation. We like this pet resort and would like to continue using them; but it is all dependent on how they decide to handle this situation. read more

If you want to spend $110 per night for 2 dogs, this is your place. After a week of boarding due to an unexpected medical emergency on our vacation, the dogs stunk. You would think at this price, they would have at least given the dogs a bath. Also, I sent a message to the facility re: the emergency. No one ever responded. They claimed that nobody rec'd a message from us. They called us a few days later asking why the dogs weren't picked up. Sounds like a communication problem at the Parker facility to me. Our pets are like family and , as owners, we think about them like humans and feel like they are our children. And let's be honest , probably worry far too much about our little guys than needed. I agree that this facility may not keep us as updated about our pets as we may like, but... My dog basically grew up here. He was trained, socialized, and kenneled here since a pup and I can say these folks know dogs. And the staff cares. My dog leaps out of the car frantically to get inside and doesn't want to come home when I pick him up. That says everything that I need to know. Your dog or cat will be fine here. I absolutely LOVE this doggie daycare! They have a lovely indoor pool as well as outdoor paddling pools, play structures, multiple play yards and it's always meticulously clean. They also have shaded tent-like areas for hot days. The entire facility is huge! Our dog goes nuts every time she realizes she's going to dayplay there. We have never had to do boarding there but if we had to, we wouldn't hesitate! read more

My other dog passed away, and time to update with my new dog. This place is still great. I have done both overnights and dayplay, and both work out great. They are very reasonably priced, and I feel I get great value for my dollar. Overnights: they have different sized kennels for different sized dogs. My dog is always happy to see the staff here, and I trust them completely. Dayplay: this is where CSS really shines. The dogs seem always so happy and exhausted coming home, even after a half-day dayplay. We've used Come Sit Stay at least eight times to board our two 2-year old labs. They have both stayed for a few nights to a week to a month (yes, a month!) at this highly competent pet facility. Both dogs (who happen to have very different personalities) come back happy and well cared for. They love the indoor pool and playing with the other "guests". They both seem happy to arrive for their stay and are healthy and enthusiastic when we pick them up. I agree with the other reviewers that there is not a lot of proactive information coming from CSS about our girls during their time there. However, when we have called or emailed to check on them, we've received a useful and current update. In addition, toward the end of each stay we get a report card emailed to us letting us know how everything went. During one of their longer stays, we elected to have some additional obedience training done. That worked well for us - and for the dogs - to keep them on task with how we expect and has already trained them to behave. Because of our frequent visits, the staff knows our girls as well as us. We feel very comfortable leaving the pups at CSS and have had good experiences each time. read more

I toured Come Sit Stay when I was looking for day care and I was saddened by the facility. It was a cold winter day and all the dogs were outside - even smaller dogs - and only one group had any personal supervision. They indicated the dogs are outside in nearly all weather, and when they are inside there seems to be only one playroom. The staff seemed inattentive and uninterested in the dogs. It is a very nice building but doesn't make up for the lack of supervision and lack of indoor play areas. read more

This kennel has people that really care about your pets! We put our puppy there for two nights. He loved it! I got a report card emailed to me each day. The pool looks like a ton of fun. I'm sure my lab will love it as he gets bigger. They also have a cute, separate, cat place, plus a groomer, training facilities and such. I'll preface this review by confirming that the other reviews are spot-on in regards to cleanliness, convenience to E470 and the professional, caring staff! I'll follow that by stating I had rated CSS as 5-stars on the first two visits however after this stay, will not be returning. And sadly enough it was due to one employee...specifically one of the three owners! I arrived to pick up my dogs after a five night stay, and a woman (one of the owners) in the lobby overheard the names of my dogs, approached me and stated that having a blanket for each dog took up too much room in the kennel and we only need one next time. She stated that if the dogs have accidents in the kennel or spill water, then she has do to extra laundry. Puzzled at why our previous kennel of five years never mentioned this (in the same size kennel), I asked to see the CSS kennel. At that point, this partial owner blew my mind on everything that followed. On the way back to my dogs' kennel I was curious about her comment regarding laundering the blankets due to accidents (which my dogs haven't had since their puppy days). It made me wonder how long they were actually spending in the kennel during the day so asked how much play time the dogs had received The response of "we don't track their play time down to the minute" was received. Taken aback, I clarified that I wasn't looking for tracking down to the minute, just an idea of how long. Response was "about two hours or so" which would have sufficed the first time! Upon arriving to my dogs' kennel I was given a demonstration of how the blankets took up too much space by using a 3'x2' - 1/4" thick blanket which is included with the room rate. Not sure what she was going for when she put the blanket in the middle of the kennel when there was plenty of space in the back of the kennel but that wasn't what prompted this review. What created this rating was the fact that she proceeded to remove the temporary collars by yanking them apart with her hands. Now, over the past five years I've only seen them removed using some sort of small, plastic, envelope-opener device with a safety guard on them...however it popped off my first dog so didn't think anything of it. The second dog didn't work so smoothly and she struggled to yank it in half, so proceeded to stretch it and pull over my dogs head until he yelped in obvious pain. She retracted, re-stretched and pulled back over, removing the temporary collar. Now if this was the type of handling my dogs receive when I'm present, I can only imagine what happens when I'm not there! I know it's speculation but perception is reality! On top of that, the lack of professionalism and poor-at-best customer service by one of the owners is appalling! Just like every pet owner at CSS who's paying good money for a safe, caring facility, I expect that my dogs are taken care of by true animal lovers which I can't say for this individual. In closing, I should mention that I've talked with the other two owners on different occasions during check-in/out and they both represent the facility in a very professional and caring way...which is why we chose to continue using CSS until the third owner decided to turn a mole hill into a mountain over a blanket. Come Sit Stay has always been top notch in our books! Our dogs have participated in their puppy training class, day play and overnight boarding. We are always greeted by a welcoming and friendly staff upon arrival. Our dogs are always excited to arrive! One of our dogs had some behavior/social issues so the puppy training class was a great fit for us. The staff not only gave us helpful training tips and tools but they were very patient in working with a sometimes difficult "student". We have used the overnight boarding quite a few times this past year! We know that they have a safe, healthy and fun environment to stay while we are out of town. We have only used Day Play a few times - I know we would use it a lot more if we lived a little closer! It's nice to know that your dogs are getting a day full of socialization and exercise with other happy and healthy pups! We lucked out and found Come Sit Stay on a google search when we first moved to Colorado last year. I have already and will continue to recommend CSS to others! read more

We started bringing our dog, Lady, for day play back in August 2014. We try to drop her off once a week to break up the monotony of being in our backyard all day while we are at work. Check-in is always smooth and easy and Lady is always ready to go without hesitation. You have to pick up your dog by 7:15pm which is a strugle for me since I work in Golden. I wish they would extend it to 7:30pm. When I pick Lady up the employees are always friendly and efficient. Lady always wants to head back inside once I get her to the car. After being at Come Sit Stay for day play she is exhausted for the next two days. Lady loves it so I love it! read more

Come Sit Stay is FANTASTIC! Both my husband and I love it (in fact, my sister and parents use CSS as their only boarding facility for their dogs too). I'm sure our dog (Nita) loves it more than we do. Nita is a 2-year old Australian Cattle Dog, and she is wiped out after a day of day play (and it's a feat to make an ACD tired:). Not only does Nita get to "play with her friends" every few weeks, she gets to stay there when my husband and I go on vacation, and we have no doubt that she gets individualized attention and love while she's there. The drop off and pick-up process is really friendly and fast (can't beat fast after a long day of work when I want to get home:). As soon as we arrive at CSS, the staff at the front desk greet her by name and when we pick her up, the caregivers bring her out and talk to her like she's a little person (the staff is GREAT). I've watched the caregivers through the windows and the fence, and they are so good with the dogs. One of the primary reasons we selected CSS is because none of the kennels face each other, so Nita can have some down time when she's in her kennel. Plus, for vacations we can't beat the location (it's on the way to DIA). My husband and I also really like CSS's all-inclusive business model for overnight boarding; she gets snacks, treats, and ample playtime all for a set price...very convenient. read more

The facility posted FB pics of both our pets, provided a "report card" with feedback about their stay, and was quick to answer questions by phone. We brought are Samoyed in today for day play and found out he was kept in a kennel most of the day, which kind of defeats the purpose of him having a good time for the day. If you're over booked just tell people, he would have had a better time staying at home. Looks like we'll have to find a different place, too bad he liked there. read more

This is a great boarding facility. Things I like are 1-you can take a tour anytime & see where the dogs are. Everytime I have been there the place is very, very clean, no dog smell ! 2 - the dogs are outside a lot, getting plenty of fresh air and play time year round, 3- the pool is heated and open all year as well ! 4- No extra $$ for swim time just be sure to let them know your dog likes to swim.5- They are well staffed so dogs get lots of attention. So check it out! I have seen a couple negative reviews,yea things happen, but I really have to think those were from people that are never happy with any services or blow things out of proportion. I've used quite a few doggy daycare/boarding facilities in Parker, but when CSS opened, I switched and will never look at another. CSS is by far the best doggy facility !!! My dog, Murray goes completely nuts as we are driving there. He loves it and I love that he is getting the best possible care whether it's for the day or if I'm out of town. Have used CSS about 5 times now. Overall we have been pleased. The first stay, we received a very nice summary of the stay. It included how our dog ate, played and interacted with other dogs. Since that first stay I have had to ask for the summary of the stay. The one drawback is the hours on Sunday. It would be great if we could pick up our dog mid-afternoons. read more

I first need to say, my dogs are the most spoiled, loved pets on the planet! We recently planned a week in the mountains at a condo we thought we'd be able to share with our canines; however, after we booked it (and paid for it) we discovered pets weren't allowed. :0( We even called to explain what wonderful dogs they were and promised to keep them kenneled while we were out of the condo, but they weren't charmed into changing the rules, not even for MY dogs! Now, since our dog sitter is 8 months pregnant, and our "little girl" is actually 84 lbs and...honestly...isn't as well behaved as she is spoiled, and our "big dog" is 94 lbs and pretty stuck in his ways, we found ourselves needing to do something we had NEVER done or considered before, finding someplace to board our beloved pooches. I called several places and scoured the internet, but when I happened to see Come, Sit, Stay Resort from E-470 as I drove by, I got a great vibe right away. I called several times and always got the same answers to my questions, no matter who I talked with, so I finally stopped in to see what they were really all about. After all, I would be gone a week and couldn't imagine my dogs in a crate all week! I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw and DIDN'T smell. The dogs staying there, were in large kennels, I'm talking 4'x 6' rooms or larger (we chose the "Queen" sized room which is 5' X 8' so both of our dogs could be together with room to move around and stretch.) Then I was shown the indoor heated pool, where several dogs were swimming and splashing, I was also informed the dogs were in the outdoor play yard or indoor exercise area up to an hour, 2 or 3 times a day and given a Kong full of peanut butter upon their arrival back in their "room". I left feeling much better about this situation and began to wonder if my dogs would even want to come home after their stay. I'm happy to say the week came and went quickly and we all had a great time. They were thrilled to see us when we picked them up, and not the OMG get me out of here, kind of, "thrilled" but the OMG, I wish I could talk, so I could tell you all about my adventures, kind of "thrilled." Our little girl was even still damp from her afternoon swim earlier that day. Please don't let the cost deter you from Come, Sit, Stay Resort. Most of the places I called before making this reservation initially had great fees, but charged extra to feed them more than once a day, walk them, give snacks or medication, or for even play time! Come, Sit, Stay Resort, advertises as an "All Inclusive" resort for pets and that's exactly what they are! They didn't charge me a penny more than they advertised and my dogs were treated to a week of fun and new experiences they wouldn't have gotten elsewhere. They also do Doggie Day Care and Training, which we will be looking into for our "little girl" in the very near future. read more

Come Sit Stay is where we take our 5 year old Boxer when he needs a day of play. We have only used them for DayPlay but we love them. All of the staff are super friendly and they seem to really know Samson. Samson is a bit high needs when it comes to dogs and I feel comfortable leaving him with the wonderful people at CSS. We have used at least 5 other places for DayPlay and CSS is by far our favorite. Our pup needs to be reminded to drink water during play time (so excited he forgets) and if he doesn't he comes home sick, this has never happened at CSS, he comes home exhausted by not dehydrated. LOVE CSS!! I recommend to anyone I meet as I feel comfortable that they would also have a good experience. read more
