Denver Pro Pet Sitting deserves all the praise in the world! First, they have great communication with multiple ways to communicate with your sitter. You can text, email, or respond in the portal. The sitters give you great detail on your pets bathroom and eating habits and medications. They also provide lots and lots of pictures! I was unfortunate enough to have an emergency while on vacation with no way to get home quickly or call anyone. I absolutely hate leaving my cats home alone and it has often stopped my boyfriend and I from taking vacations together (yes, I'm that crazy of a cat mom). I get extreme anxiety worrying about them when we are gone so I try to make sure we don't have to do it often. But when we do, I fully trust Nelson and the Pet Sitting team to take good care of Fred and Marlin. This time, we needed someone to watch the kids (cats) for three days. We didn't know that we would both be gone until the last minute (literally two days before we left) and Nelson was still able to accommodate us. He made the visits for the whole three days and as always, we got reassuring and detailed updates after every visit! My younger cat, Marlin, is pretty terrified of anyone other than me or my boyfriend so he hid from Nelson during the visits, but Nelson still went out of his way to get pictures of Marlin (behind the washer/dryer) to send to us. From camping at Sequoia National Park and hiking amongst giants to driving to LA and meeting our ridiculously adorable niece for the very first time to eating a bunch of craft burgers and getting gourmet cupcakes out of an ACM (ATM for cupcakes), we had an absolutely amazing time on our recent trip to California! Generally, I would never be able to pinpoint my favorite part of our vacation but this time is different. This time we enlisted the help of Denver Pro Pet Sitting to take care of our boys while we were away. From my first conversation with Nelson, I knew that Denver Pro Pet Sitting was exactly what we needed. We discussed my cats' needs while we were away which included administering an oral medication to my 5 month old kitten as well as giving him multiple medicated baths. I was able to create an online profile for both cats with their individual photos, descriptions, feeding instructions, health details, etc and also download an app for easy access to scheduling, invoices, visit status updates/notes (which include photos) and even GPS tracking (which would be useful for tracking dog walks.) We scheduled a meet and greet with Danny, who would be Bruce and Bronson's caregiver for the duration of our trip, and hit it off immediately. We discussed everything that I included in the boys' online profiles to confirm that all bases were covered. He even offered to get the mail! Danny treated our boys as if they were his own. We got text and email updates after every visit that included multiple photos and, from what it looked like, the boys really enjoyed him being there. We didn't worry once. THAT was the best part of our vacation -- the peace of mind. Danny and Denver Pro Pet Sitting exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be more grateful! We have cats. Have tried boarding but one is special meds needs and high anxiety and nearly had to be put down after failure to thrive. Tried a different referral home visit but they were problematic and impatient. Kelli and Mariah came to our rescue. These guys are WONDERFUL. They had immediate great rapport with our kitties. The kitties love them and are pleased to see them when they show up. They send us updates showing the cats are well-fed and cared for. They obviously love what they're doing and care about the animals they're taking care of. The cats are always healthy and well-fed when we get home. They keep the litter boxes clean and the cats fed and played with. We're currently stuck in Colorado Springs during Snowpocalypse 2019. A quick text to Nelson late late late last night letting him know we wouldn't be able to get home last night got a quick response saying he would stop by first thing in the morning and feed them, and there was a status update while we had breakfast showing our tiny friends getting food and love that CODOT kept us from providing ourselves. Danny has also been out for us multiple times and is also amazing with the cats. We've used them when we went out of town on a half-dozen trips or so and cannot imagine using anyone else at this point. They are wonderful. They are absolutely worth every penny of their very reasonable fees. I am thoroughly displeased at my experience. I submitted the online contact form on Tuesday after business hours. I then called on my lunch and upon hearing that the webform is the best way to receive a response and that a response would be given within one business day, did not leave a message. I called and left a message on Thursday when there was no contact. I again called on Friday and left a message stating I would be posting about my experience. Finally got a response via email 10 minutes after. If the business is thriving this much, update your message to give a realistic turnaround time. ESPECIALLY when you are approaching holidays and have people who have animals with extra need that makes finding a care service that much harder. No longer interested in utilizing UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER FEEDBACK: I know many small business owners, so I am *very* aware of how much work and hustle is involved. However, when a response is given three business days later (Wednesday to Friday) AND only comes via email (not a phone call) after threat of posting about the experience does not equate to a good first impression. And first impressions are all you have. The next small business I tried called me back same day when their owner was recovering from surgery. They were absolutely fabulous and the opposite of my experience here, so I stand by my rating. read more

One more five star rating for Denver Pro Pet Sitting! I moved to Denver in the second week of November and had to leave town on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. The one person I knew in town had agreed to cat sit for me, but cancelled at the last minute. So Tuesday afternoon, I hit up Yelp for answers and I find rave reviews for Denver Pro and send them an e-mail. They respond within a few hours and schedule a phone call for later that night (they were willing to talk at 9pm to accommodate both of our schedules). They were booked solid for Thanksgiving weekend, but squeezed me in anyway. When I mentioned that my cat gets along better with men, they accommodated that as well, even though it was far less convenient for them. They waived their meet and greet requirement when I explained my situation. Nelson was great on the phone and talked about his cats, so I knew I was leaving my cat in good hands. I was able to provide all the information he would need on their app and they sent me daily updates via the app as well. I got texts/ within app notifications each day when the visit started as well as detailed messages about how the visit went and photos of my cat. They brought some packages in for me and they left my cat's food and litter areas really clean, going as far as washing his serving spoon. These are clearly people who understand the relationships we have with our pets and they are working with a really easy-to-use, non-glitchy app. I never leave Yelp reviews, but they did such a great job that I really want to spread the word! read more

If you are looking for a dog walker I highly recommend finding someone else in the area. I can't speak to their pet sitting services, but our experience with their dog walking services has been overwhelmingly negative. They largely don't deliver on the services you pay them for and their communication is unreliable. One day my work schedule changed and it was to late to cancel our walk so I took the opportunity to run some errands while the dog walker came. I got back early and found the dog walker Jade sitting in her car for 20 minutes after she messaged saying she arrived for her visit. She went inside, walked our dog for less than 10 minutes and then spent the remainder of the time going back to sitting in her car. We paid them for an hour long walk. Additionally we made it clear multiple times we weren't comfortable having anyone walk our dog who we haven't met and saw how they interacted with him first. And with no notice one day I looked on our ring camera to find a stranger standing in our living room. Their services are not worth the money or the unreliability. read more

I owe Diane from Denver Pro Pet Sitting! She helped out with a home emergency while checking in on my cat this past weekend. Had we not hired her to stop by, the damage would've been much greater. Within 12 hours of leaving town, my basement flooded. Poor Diane discovered the water and took action immediately. She tuned off the main water valve, along with the washer/dryer, moved some things off the floor, and unplugged what she could before calling me with the bad news. She also made sure our cat was doing ok, and shut her in our bedroom with all the necessities. We were going to have strangers coming through that day and it was safer to keep her in one contained area. Diane even checked in throughout the day while we contacted a plumber and a clean up crew for the following day. She totally didn't have to, but she clearly cares and it showed. "Normal" pet sitter visits are not usually this dramatic. Diane's come by and taken care of our cat before and does a great job with that part too. She feeds the cat, cleans out her litterbox, gives her some treats, and even snaps a photo or two to add to text message updates. Standard pet sitting stuff, handled like a pro. I have and will continue to recommend Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Diane saved our butts this weekend and we'll continue to have her look after our cat, once our basement isn't flooded anymore :) read more
