As I admired the entire wall of bourbon, the clerk began offering me small tasting cups. Although I am more of a red wine drinker than a bourbon enthusiast, I appreciated the opportunity to sample several bourbons. Since I was buying a bottle as a gift for a friend, the Two Bitch Bourbon Batch #8 caught my eye. Afterward, I walked around the store and purchased Coffee Cake Cream Liqueur and S7S Dreamsicle Cream Liqueur. For another friend, I purchased a kitchen towel and a bottle of Buck Summit Old Vine Zinfandel. The store clerk was also knowledgeable about wines because I asked for a wine similar to Duckhorn. At the checkout counter, another store clerk also demonstrated an excellent knowledge of wines and even suggested food pairings that would complement my selection. I also purchased the Classic Italian Stack--an assortment of oils--for a friend who is a chef. Spirits & Spice also offers a rewards program. Overall, I found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help, making for a very enjoyable shopping experience.

Whiskey, tequila, cream drinks, oils etc. We walked around the store and when asked they would give you a taste sample. What a wonderful concept before you purchase a bottle. My husband ended up buying a bottle of tequila. So many wonderful gift ideas as well. It's a must to visit.

This is the ultimate one-stop shop for a large variety of wines, spirits, beer, mixers, and so much more--too many items to mention. Every bottle is neatly organized in aisles labeled for easy finding. Some are displayed on the sales floor or secured in glass cases. Prices are reasonable. There's a tasting bar that offers samples on specific days and times. Atmosphere was quiet and reserved. I visited the store today to find and purchase a bottle of Jacob's Creek Moscato. I've tried several Moscato brands, some were sweet, others lightly sweet. Recently I was introduced to the Jacob's Creek brand at Bonefish Grill and absolutely loved it. I wanted a bottle for myself. I found a small section of various Moscato brands in the back of the store, but they didn't have the one I wanted. I asked an employee at customer service if they had the Jacob's Creek Moscato in stock. After searching the item on the store's device, she informed me they didn't carry that brand of Moscato, but the Pembroke Pines location had plenty in stock. I thanked the employee for her help and left. I'll visit that location tomorrow. There was no way I was driving all the way to Pembroke Pines at this time. It was an interesting experience nonetheless.

We stopped here on the way back to our Air BNB to stock up on more tequila. We picked up some…read morerefrigerated hard seltzers and then headed over to the tequila section. We were a little overwhelmed with the selection. They had tons of tequilas and mezcals that we have never tried before. I felt like Alice in Drinkerland with all their, "Try Me", tags on some of the bottles. When Andrew came by to ask if we needed any help, we asked to try one of the mezcals that was new to us. He came back with two different types to taste, from the same brand. This was helpful because one was way more fragrant and we preferred it over the other. He also gave us insight about the flavors of each and why they were so different. We picked up a small bottle and then asked about their other regular tequilas. He asked us what our go-to tequila was and when we told him, he suggested another brand that he thought we might like, based upon the flavor comparison. He also gave us a whole lesson on the difference between distilling in the states compared to Mexico, and how they arrive to the ABV percentage. Andrew is very knowledgeable and I appreciate the time he put into to speaking with us. We ended up going with one of the tequilas he suggested and we were happy with our choice. We went up to the cash register to pay and one of the other staff had gone out to get himself some donuts from next door. He offered my Little a heart-shaped Boston crème, with my blessing, of course. I thought that was really sweet. I didn't catch his name but he made her day with that donut, so we thank him very much! This is definitely a one-stop shop for your beverage needs. They even have grown folks snacks, like caviar and cheeses (get the drunken goat!) I was impressed by the variety of items. There are several people working there and I'm assuming they all have a particular knowledge of different spirits they carry, so definitely seek out assistance if you want to buy something that's special. I've never been in a store like this, with such a huge selection of wine and spirits, as well as all the other accouterments. Boca residents are spoiled!

I Finally got a chance to review one of our favorite spots to do a wine tasting…read more We first came months ago at a suggestion from some friends to go with them. It was a great tasting of a vineyard in California. A month or so later we went to another tasting that also was quite good. Then, last week we went to another with friends. This time we noticed on the email they explained how to park for free(we never knew this, always grabbed street parking). So the hook up in the parking ramp was nice. We walked into the Gourmetphile to a group of happy people ready to try some wines. We grabbed our seats by our friends and got ready. The spokesman for the company had some words, explaining the Gil family vineyard and its different wines. It's located in Spain and is between a couple of the more famous wine valleys there. Then we were off to the wines. They were quite good. What was debatably even better were the dishes that the owner provide for each wine. Different meats, cheeses and jams. Every dish was designed for that specific wine to match with. It's a few dollars for a tasting here, but when you know it almost good wines, and excellent food, it's worth it. We left with a bottles of wine so obviously these were good. And we look forward to the next one.

First of all, the amount of people is limited, making it an almost one on one experience with the person introducing the wines. Allowing us to listen clearly to their information and stories about the wines and wineries and easy to ask questions too. Not only do they know their wines, but they know very well what to pair with them. This was not a random charcuterie plate on the side, they paired each wine with a specific bite/ dish and explained why exactly they chose that an how it would compliment the wine. And, honestly, it all worked harmoniously. At the end of the tasting we were able to buy bottles, and also look at their shop front which has so many delicious cheeses, meats and more, plus, of course, wine to bring home and recreate these tastings experiences at home with your friends, family, or date. Highly recommend coming here, and you will definitely see us checking in again.
