During the first visit, they told us the main control board had water damage and needed to be replaced, so we paid for a new board. Looking back, I still question that diagnosis because the electrical connection should have been properly enclosed. Several months later, one of our air conditioning units stopped working. When we inspected the equipment, we discovered that Eco Air had left the electrical outlet boxes for both HVAC units uncovered after their previous service. The covers had never been screwed back on, leaving both electrical connections exposed to rain, snow, and the elements for approximately five months. One unit has already failed, and the second unit was left exposed in exactly the same way. We now have no confidence in its condition or how long it will continue to operate. When we contacted Eco Air, we expected them to investigate the issue and stand behind their work. Instead, they largely avoided responding to us. We repeatedly asked for updates and a plan to resolve the problem, but received little communication and no meaningful effort to take responsibility. Because Eco Air failed to address the issue, we ultimately had no choice but to hire another HVAC company to inspect and repair the system. It is extremely frustrating that a company hired to repair one HVAC system left both HVAC systems exposed to the elements through careless workmanship. Customers deserve accurate diagnoses, quality workmanship, prompt communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Based on the quality of the work and the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend Eco Air.

Due to permit issues we had for a separate matter, I had to reschedule with Mr.Air multiple times. They also had to hold 4 mini split ACs and two condensers for months because of the rescheduling. We had to change the order a few times due to changing our minds on the location of the condenser as well as electrical work needed. At no point did they complain or demand we store the equipment or move up the date. We had all of the ACs installed in one day (9am to 8pm), and they provided plastic to cover furniture. They didn't slack and didn't complain about my father hovering over them (he loves to watch contractors so he could learn; which I'm sure isn't pleasing to any contractor).
