Her original intent was to check out several different furniture stores then make her selection. We were greeted right away by Brent. My mom explained what she was looking for and he took us over and had my mom sit in several at different lift chairs at differing price points and offering different features on their remotes. He was so gracious offering to help her maneuver from one chair to the next due to her mobility issues. He was so personable, knowledgeable and pleasant that my mom decided that it was going to be one stop shopping because she found a chair that she was very comfortable in with the features she was looking for and added features of heating and massage in addition to the lift. And Brent was excellent. We were both so glad that he helped us and my mom is enjoying her new chair.

He apologized each time he had to request a bit more information and worked with us through the entire process. They honored our claim and gave us full cost replacement. Nick helped us make the right choice for our replacement with no pressure at all. He just wanted us to choose the one that best fits our needs. We have already chosen our next mattress from them and even though it was a warranty replacement we will still have the same ten-year warranty on the new mattress. We never felt pressured when shopping there as I did with some of the other places we shopped prior to choosing Beautyrest. Our son-in-law was a third-generation owner of a mattress company before closing it due to having to move and he was the one who originally recommended we shop at Beautyrest. I knew with his recommendation that it had to be a good company, and he was right!

We found two Norwalk chairs were on sale and when I asked why, I was told it was a discontinued pattern. Shame on them for not declaring that damage was the reason they were discounting the chairs. Shame on us for not looking under one of the tags to find a 2 inch tear in the fabric on the shoulder of one chair. When asked about this later (after the purchase) we were told, yes, that is why they were on sale. No remedy was offered. This is NOT the kind of customer service we ever want to experience again. Our experience with other high quality stores is that damage is disclosed, not hidden - hence a damaged item was not purchased. Never again Ellecor. I caution you to be wary of any purchases at Ellecor.

In October 2024 I purchased a King Croft Barclay Hybrid mattress from Springfield Mattress for…read more$1500. After a couple months of use the wife and I could not get comfortable on this mattress so I contacted Springfield mattress on December 19th 2024 and they said to file a warranty claim and they would see what the factory could do for us as far as getting a comfort exchange. On December 30th 2024 we received word that the factory could not do much for us because it was not one of their Forever Beds. The next step was in store credit towards a new mattress. I went in a few weeks later to see what they had, got a couple quotes and decided to think on it since this was right in the middle of our son being born and the gentleman, I had been in correspondence with was not in the store that day. Jan 22nd 2025 I made the hour drive to their store on Glenstone and spoke with the guy I had been making the warranty claim with. I tried out several mattresses while there and ultimately kept coming back to the Forever Bed Palisade Hybrid mattress. I was told this was a step up from the mattress we already owned, made with their patented inner springs with a Talalay Latex comfort layer to boot. Latex is something the wife and I had been interested in trying for some time now so I decided go forward with the purchase that day. At check out I was told this mattress was $2900 plus tax so with our in store credit of $1000 ($500 less of original mattress purchase) the price out the door was $1900 plus tax and a free mattress protector. Gave the man my card and out the door I went. On the drive home though something felt off. I knew I had been on their website and seen the Palisade mattress for less than the listed $2900. An hour later when I arrived home, I got on their website and found the price to be $2754.99. This is $145.01 less that what I was charged in store. Ok now I have questions, and upon further review of the mattress's web page, it in fact does not have Talalay Latex in it, its made with Serene Foam. Now I am starting to really doubt the purchase I made. At 11:31 Am on 1\22\25 I emailed them for clarification, 2 hours after the purchase was made. At 3:41 PM I was contacted Via phone call to ask what the problem was. I explained to them I felt this was false sales tactics, I was not comfortable with making a purchase with them and wanted to be refunded so I could take my business elsewhere. I was reassured it was just a mix up, there are a lot of different types of mattresses and foams, there was confusion as to the model he was speaking about. It was also said the online prices are not always accurate because their website is not always updated to current prices. If I wanted to, I could come back in and try to find that perfect mattress. I was told they would need to talk to their managers because something like this has never happened before. At 3:50PM they called back and informed me there was nothing they personally could do and I would need to talk to the manager on Friday Jan 24th when he was in office. Jan 24th comes and I place a phone call at 9:52am and receive no answer. Understandable they could be with a customer. At 10:50AM I get a call from the manager saying his employee left a note and wanted to know what was going on. So again I explained the situation and was told he would need to contact his boss at the factory to get the order pulled and see if they could get a refund initiated. At 3:16PM I get another call to inform me there is nothing they can do, they will not\cannot give me my money back and I will have to purchase the mattress. This is a strong-arm tactic and I will not stand for this. They have the ability to refund money, they DON'T WANT TO. I told them I will be filing a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General's Office, which has already been done, and disputing the charge with my credit card company. Shame on me for not doing my do diligence before this purchase but as a farmer in Missouri I work entirely to hard for the money I make to have a corporation take it from me.
