The daffodils were really fresh, and so were the tulips. I'm excited to watch them bloom. One thing - I wish they had the flower powder to help the blooms last longer. Usually they supply this when you ask at the counter, but they didn't have any. I know this bodega suffered a lot when the 2/3 train was under construction. It's nice to see them open and we should all continue to support this business.

As has been previously stated by others, the breakfast sandwiches in particular are decent, though not the best or cheapest. Convenience is the word of the day here, every day, and from that perspective, Han's is hard to beat. They do not sell tobacco or vape products, and close earlier than the posted hours. Also, the deli counter closes earlier than the store itself.

The only con is that there were no clear signs to how to grab the buns, and no signs for what the buns were, or the price. They have a huuuuge selection of bread (idk the names or types), but I got the concha bread. So so so delicious. Both times I went, it was warm - fresh out of the oven! . I can tell they have that oven running and bake often because I always pass by this place different hours of the day and it always smells amazing! This little shop had everything we needed to weather the stormy Lucali wait: hot tea, fresh fruit, and an assortment of cold beverages.

So when I need some cream for my coffee or a dozen eggs, or a kombucha, or maybe some mac 'n cheese in a box, or gingerale, or a bagel or coffee, or a Luna Bar, or ya know...milk, or yogurt, butter, chips, salsa, some chocolate covered pretzels after some heavy drinking, or a random assortment of strangely upscale food items (organic peanut butter! Brooklyn-made baked goods!)...I go to Gourmet Food Mart. And really, the prices are not outlandish for how convenient it is. I even bought these weird little wasabi seaweed things that ended up being quite good. Truly, a pretty fantastic selection. They never scoff at my credit card carrying ways, they always double bag it even though I have a short distance to travel, they smile, they are friendly (all of them!) and they are always well stocked with the essentials...and then some. I am blessed. It saves me from C-Town often...it's nice to have a little corner store I adore.
