I hired Bryce in June of 2025 to replace all of my pool equipment with brand new Pentair equipment that I purchased separately. I paid him $5300 for the labor, which he cashed on June 24th prior to starting the job. After weeks of excuses for why he and his electrician couldn't start, a different crew of guys showed up completely unannounced on July 19th to start the work, and Bryce wasn't even aware that they would be there. I had to call to tell him to come meet them, and the crew left a few hours after arriving claiming that they'd completed their part of the job. Unfortunately, this crew made a number of mistakes, didn't install the pool lights, installed actuators upside down, and the wiring connections to the automation panel were exposed and not up to code (see photo attached). Jordan did come back a few more times to try to resolve some of the issues, but ultimately wasn't able to connect the wiring to one of the new pool lights (he claimed that a new line needed to be ran to the transformer for an additional $800). At this point the salt cell was still not working, the pool light didn't work, and the pool solar actuator wasn't correctly automated. After repeated attempts to reach Bryce to finish the job he stopped responding and completely ghosted me. Since then, I've had to hire an electrician to come and correctly connect the electrical connections in conduit to bring them up to code, install the correct size breakers, and connect the pool light (which didn't need a new line by the way, it was just connected incorrectly by Bryce's "electrician"). I've also had to have some of the pool plumbing re-routed as the salt cell was not installed correctly and unbeknownst to me was not producing chlorine for months following installation. Overall, the experience with Bryce lasted multiple months and he simply didn't complete the job that he was paid to do. He had excuse after excuse along the way (All of which I have in written text messages), which left me feeling extremely frustrated, and that I couldn't believe anything that he said. Ultimately he ghosted me, leaving me high and dry to hire other people to fix his mistakes. He's a nice young guy so hopefully he learns from this experience, but at this point I can't recommend him to anyone needing pool work.
