I first spoke with Misty on the phone and told her the issue I was having with my Jacuzzi J-460 (which had been pre-diagnosed by my electrician), and she was quite lovely in describing the cost of repair. It was a failed heater pump. I also needed a drain and clean since it had been some time that I had used it due to the heater pump issue. Her quoted price was fair and was NOT elevated after the service was performed, as some companies tent to do. Justin came, on time and was scheduled, replaced the faulty part and completed a very thorough drain and clean. The unit looked like new afterwards. I am very happy that I chose Spa Pros. The plaster came off in sheets, the 1960s tile was covered in decades of calcium buildup, the coping was old red brick with mortar literally crumbling out, and some jets and plumbing didn't even work. The pool was technically swimmable, but it was depressing to look at. This summer our weekly pool cleaner told us the plaster was about to fail completely, so we started calling around for estimates. Most of the big corporate companies gave us inflated quotes and made us feel like just another job number. A trusted friend recommended Oscar's, so we checked Yelp, saw all the great reviews, and gave him a call. Once the new tile, coping, and plaster went in, it felt like we had a brand-new pool built from scratch.
