I first spoke with Misty on the phone and told her the issue I was having with my Jacuzzi J-460 (which had been pre-diagnosed by my electrician), and she was quite lovely in describing the cost of repair. It was a failed heater pump. I also needed a drain and clean since it had been some time that I had used it due to the heater pump issue. Her quoted price was fair and was NOT elevated after the service was performed, as some companies tent to do. Justin came, on time and was scheduled, replaced the faulty part and completed a very thorough drain and clean. The unit looked like new afterwards. I am very happy that I chose Spa Pros. I recommend them and I will schedule them again to care of my Jacuzzi!

After sending another Yelp message and informing owner that messages were left on voicemails and no returned calls, this Yelp message would be my last attempt to contact him for an appointment and for him to return my call. I am not in the habit of chasing down professionals in order to do business. He retorted that he is sorry I had trouble contacting them. (No statement as to why my calls were not returned, or that he got my messages) But, then stated he was "declining my request". That's professional! I guess he doesn't need the work, or want to be called out on the inability to return calls.

It's been a real challenge to find anyone that really understood how our system was set up given the DIY nature of the original installation. I left a message on Thursday and Steve returned my call promptly that evening and came out first thing Saturday morning to do an inspection. He spent a good hour and a half going over all of the components and analyzing what was causing certain of the jets not to function correctly. While we almost certainly will need more extensive work done in the future that will involve ripping up concrete, Steve was able to at least adjust some of the various settings enough that we can enjoy the spa again. His pricing was more than reasonable for the work done and the time spent. It was obvious how much experience Steve has and he took the time to walk us through what he was doing, even to the point of showing us some actual sample parts similar to those in our spa which he had in his bag and demonstrating how they work so we could better understand the inner workings of the plumbing and the jets. Honestly, what a pleasure to deal with a consummate expert who is willing to share his knowledge. Even more importantly, I did NOT feel like he was talking down to me as a female homeowner, which tends to be a recurrent problem for us women when engaging with certain contractors. We got quotes from several pool remodeling companies and Smart Swim came in right in the middle. We are strong believers on "you get what you pay for," and opted to go with them even though they were not the cheapest. From beginning to end, the guys at Smart Swim were easy to work with and truly wanted our project to come out great. After 30 years, it was time for our pool to have a remodel! Through the remodel, it was uncovered that we had many severe leaks, down to the rebar that needed to be fixed in some areas. Sam was great at making sure we understood the severity and that we were okay with any new costs that needed to be added. Not only did they do our pool, but also installed turf by the pool area and put pavers all around the pool and yard area. We also got the new gray gate installed from them as well, to replace the wooden fence in the yard (between the pool). **Noting that the perimeter wall/wooden top was painted black and sanded/stained by a different company. We truly appreciate their hard work and even when we had an immediate death in the family during their time working on our project, they were very respectful and gave us some space as needed. Finally she picks up and tells me that she was just handed a note by Irene and she was going to get back to me but they are headed into a meeting (probably lunch not a meeting as it was 11:45) and so I told her I can't keep waiting and I need an answer whether they can service this pool or not, and she tells me "well to be honest, we are backed out a week and a half..." so I told her shame on them for not letting me know and keeping me in the dark. Rude and inconsiderate. It is really frustrating when you try to be loyal and call only one company you had used in the past and not make other calls...well, I guess it doesn't pay to be loyal to a company who is not loyal to you\their customers.
