They were able to hem my dress for me quickly. If you are looking for basically alterations and it is close by I would recommend it. They do send the stuff out to be altered by a local woman, which is fine by me, but I know some people prefer it to be done on site. I just found out that the $15 I paid for a white pants to be altered shorter was not done. I only saw it today because I wanted to wear it. The problem is too much turn over of employees. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Nobody is accountable for the error. My advise is make sure to get the name of the person who handled your clothes and let them sign in your records that they understood what the clothes are for- whether for alteration or you've instructed them to make sure that the pleats should be kept and not be ironed flat to remove the pleats. My experience there was a nightmare. They said they didn't charge me for the error they did but nothing was reversed in my credit card. The total of $88 for Dry cleaning is expensive and you've paid them to ruin your clothes and I paid for alteration and nothing was done. The length of the pants was the same length when I brought it to them. The people there are irresponsible and careless. They think it's just a matter of getting the clothes and charging the customers. read more

There is a minimum charge for credit card (I can't remember what it is, but I think you'll exceed it if you have at least two items). I highly recommend! DO NOT COME HERE! If I could I'd give 0 stars. Gave them a chance to make things right and give us a refund but instead they won't pick up the phone, they have a bunch of young girls there that don't know what they are doing they are doing their make up or lashes every time I walk in . We told them DRY CLEANING and the guy insisted that we do "what's cheaper" we clearly stated we didn't want cheap we wanted a service because that's what we've always gotten. Well when we pick it up they didn't do the service we requested on top of that they ruined shirts that are worth $50+ and claimed they check the garments before giving them to us which wasn't the case. They wanted to redo their mistake sent us a text that they would "fix" the problem by redoing it free of charge and we said no because we're not risking any more clothing with them. Now they won't answer texts nor calls and won't refund. Also when we picked up this last time someone else was complaining about the same issue so it's clearly not a good spot to go to like the guy said himself they do cheap quality. Tried this place the first time and already have bad experience. I have my pants tapered supposed to be two inches per leg and the lady that does the alterations just there said it's done, I picked it up and she did half a inch only and charge me more than what it is because she said she is going to open the pants and do it the right way but she didn't! Besides from only doing half a inch per leg she lied about what she supposed to do and the owner of this place is not trying to make this lady correct it?! I made the mistake of not reading other recent reviews, because I've been here a few times over the last year. Didn't realize they changed owners. The new owner I've only seen once. Previous one was always around to help out. Like another recent reviewer said, we also had a pair of pajamas hemmed. Whoever did it also messed up with one leg about an inch longer than the other. The guy at the front tried to convince me it's because the material is stretchy. I hung it up and it's clear they aren't same length. I'll never come here again if they have such poor quality and won't own up to their mistakes. Avoid coming here. This place is awesome! I brought in a dress that needed the hem shortened by about 6 inches but it required very intricate alterations as I wanted to keep the original laced hemline. Bay (the lady who works there) is so friendly and was very transparent about whether or not she could do the specific fix I wanted. I left the dress with her and she called me later that day to let me know if she could or couldn't do it. She was able to and I am so happy with her work!! It looks seamless and fits like a glove! I have been a loyal customer until their owner has been changed. For whatever reason I loved about this store, it's all gone now. I dropped a dress in for repair during their ownership transitioning period. They double charged me for repairing the dress because the first time it was not fixed and had to resend for another round of fixing, and they charge twice for that. Yet, the dress is still not fixed, leaving it a very apparent hole. When I was reasoning with the new owner, at first she denied she charged me the second time until I showed her my bank statement, and then she said to me: "I will fix it free for you this time, it's just 5 dollars!" Wow, JUST 5 dollars. Like she is doing me a favor, like I'm holding onto this 5 dollars for the sake of 5 dollars. Do your best to avoid this store, it's not what it used to be anymore. read more

I don't normally give bad review but this time i need to. I am a regular customer of this shop for morethan 5 yrs. and last week i came back to hem some pants and found out its a new owner that is really rude. The length of the pants are not thesame to each other, she kept insisting they are ok and didn't give me the chance to speak. She measured using her measuring tape that found out one side is 27.5 inches and the other side is morethan 28 inches and saw, and agreed one leg is longer. Then she asked me to try it on to see it, then kept insisting the length are thesame again and said maybe my one leg is shorter than the other. Sooo funny to give me that excuse. We end up of arguing and since i don't want to go to her level i just stop and said ok don't worry about my pants ill just need to give you my review on how you treat your customers. This lady is Super rude and mean, how i wish the previous owner still owned this place. Great job at altering my wedding dress and tuxedo. The cost was 65 for the wedding dress and about $12 for the tuxedo to be dry cleaned. I went back to get another dress altered, the cost for that was about $40. The turn around time isn't long, about 4 days for pick up. Service is fast, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. read more

I recently started a new job in the area and Auto Mall Cleaners is conveniently located about 1-1/2 miles from work. Prices are very competitive and, as others have noted, the owner is very nice. I was asked to pay in advance for my initial order - not unusual - and was happy with the quality. Prior to dropping off my second order, I was low on cash and stopped by an ATM. I distinctly remember paying in advance for my second order - I remember the exact amount and wanted the change for the bridge toll (at the time, I didn't have Fastrak). When I picked up my second order, I was told that I had not prepaid. I asked if she was sure and the owner insisted that she would have stamped my receipt if I had paid in advance. Now, I'll admit that I cannot be 100% certain that I prepaid for the second order, but given the facts, I'd put the likelihood at over 90%. More importantly, many cleaners have a fixed policy: all orders are prepaid or they won't accept cash for prepayment. With a consistent policy, the customer is never placed in a position of questioning whether they were double billed. If you decide to use Auto Mall Cleaners, be certain to prepay with a credit card. I'm trying some of the other local cleaners for comparison - even though they are not as conveniently located. read more
