It now has an open environment that is kept clean and has many more available products. The owner even added a few specific things that I asked for. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They all greet me by name when I walk in. It's just down the street. There's a very small and efficient convenience store that's stocked with good basics: cookies, candy, pop, etc. They also carry a few personal items like dental floss and nail clippers. Nothing too unusual or out of the ordinary here. It's a convenient and reliable gas station/convenience stop. And that's a good thing.

At literally any other place, 10 dollars even at $6 per gallon, would give me around 40 miles and would at least move my gas gauge notch up by 2 or 3. I told him "no, my car is 20 MPG at 10 dollars I should at least see it move a couple of notches" I've owned this car for 10 years I know how it behaves, but he was like "no" and was adamant that I would not see the gas notch move, as if he knows my car better than me and refused a refund. I do not have an old car where there's delayed gas reading. Also my mileage to gas reading still set at 30 before and after pumping is another evidence that it did not dispense any gas. I ended up going to another competitor to spend $10 again for gas, and guess what, it's exactly as I've said, I gained around 40 miles on my mileage to gas reading and gained 3 notches on my gas gauge reading. I've contacted both AMPM corporate and also WSDA Weights and Measures Program about this pump not dispensing gas, as well as how the cashier handled this interaction. DO NOT COME HERE, if the pumps don't dispense gas, they will not help you.

It's not busy and not hard to navigate, and their car wash has* been less expensive than the surrounding options. I will not be using this location for the foreseeable future. And, here's why: --They took away the ability to purchase a car wash at the pump, so you have to go inside after getting gas, wait in line, and purchase it separately. I've been told there are no plans to change this. --With the loss of the ability to purchase the car wash at the pump, the discount for the wash with gas purchase has also gone away. So, you pay full price whether you've bought gas or not. I've been told by staff there is no plan to rectify this, either. --The pumps have also stopped asking for Albertsons / Safeway Rewards numbers. So, no discount for that program anymore, either. These changes seem to be intentional, rather than "broken" as I've been told by staff there. Has the looks of a money grab by the owners, and it's not a good look. Now, again, this is a lovely facility, with lots to love. But, all I want is gas and a car wash at a decent price. They've made the car wash purchase inconvenient and more expensive. That coupled with the lack of rewards has discounts has made me look elsewhere. I hope they can change these few simple things, and I will happily return to patronizing this business, because its location is more convenient for me.
