I took my boyfriends 2007 Toyota Tundra for The Works but was totally disappointed. After I got home, I had to wipe down my seats, it was half vacuumed, tires were half done, had to use a magic eraser bar on both front door panels as they weren't even touched, none of the windows were rolled down in order to clean the tops, none of the floor mats were cleaned and I had to wipe the whole front of the dash. I basically paid $40 to have it ran through a car wash that I could've taken it to at a regular car wash for $8.00. Being a 65 year old woman I felt very taken advantage of. I will not recommend this business. read more

What a complete waste of $35.00!!! When the owner stops you before you get to your truck and says "we cleaned as best as we could" should already be a warning of what a crap job they have done! I couldn't agree more with the four-star rating of this car wash. The staff is very friendly and they do a good job cleaning your car. The location itself, however, isn't that great; kind of run down and in need of a renovation or a new building. I was really surprised by this car wash. I was not at all expecting much and just needed a quick car wash and interior clean. However, I left pleasantly surprised and happy with what I paid for. 4th Ave Car Wash did not disappoint, and I doubt they will disappoint you! read more

Staff were all super nice. The place was clean and they did an amazing job on my truck. There were 4-5 cars ahead of me and and to eat the best wash I was only waiting 20-25min tops. Price was reasonable and I got a way better job than the Goo-Goo I was going to. I'll definitely be going here from now on! read more

This is indeed a great car wash. Richard runs a top notch place that treats everybody like their driving a Rolls Royce! I have never had a bad experience getting my car washed and polished. I like that the machines use a special soft touch brush, not like the nylon strings that beat your car one finds at other places in town. The crew vacuums out all the stuff from daily driving and ensures the car is dried off not leaving any water spots. The entire car wash has a glass wall so you can watch your car travel down the line. The place can get really busy, especially on a Saturday, but it's well worth the wait. read more

My first and last time. I had great expectations as I've passed by and seen them working on cars which looked good from a distance. however after my car was done and I drove off I saw my rearview window had not been wiped clean it had a haze on it like windex still visible on it, so I couldn't see out of the bottom of the window also noticed areas where it wasn't cleaned. The door handle, the compartment where you store things located under the radio was not touched as there were a piece of paper I had left in the car was still there, the dashboard wasn't cleaned very well as well the radio console. There were visible areas where they didn't vacuum. My grandson had left a medium sized styrofoam cup of soda on the side of the door in the back seat. It was not thrown out. The things they did well was the outside of the car including the tires. The person that assisted me with under their services and paying and answering your question was very friendly and helpful. Overall with the less than adequate cleaning on the inside and the above average care I got from the person who assisted me with my order I give them 3 stars. DI'd not meet my expectation to keep coming to them regularly. read more

I have had my car for 8 years now and never got a full detail and wax service . I normally wash it on my own once every several months. After spilling a frozen drink all over the front seats and my dog shedding a lot when riding with me, I decided to get a full cleanup and chose 4th Avenue Car Wash due to proximity. I have been here a few times, there has been times or good service and times of bad service. Of the times or bad service, the vacuuming has been poor and the interior cleaning was left poorly cleaned as well. I recently bought new mats and when I checked the mats, they were aggressively scratched. The mats still had dirt on them too. When approaching the owners, a manager mentioned the use of soft-tip brushes that could have scratched the mat. I was passed to the owner who said they don't use brushes to clean the mats so that's why they're dirty. The conversation left with the owner/manager saying they couldn't do anything for me and sent me on my way. Even after pointing out poorly vacuumed interior and mats, they said they could not do anything for me. I approached the matter well and I hoped to at least be compensated for my time. My fault for taking a new car to this spot I guess. I'm not one to complain or make a fuss.... but this one got to me and I felt like I should share my experience. read more

Wow! They want to nickel and dime you and if you choose not to get add ons the owner will sourly tell you what they WILL NOT do. I've been to many carwashes in the last 25 years and my husband has been a managing partner in St. Louis and in Mobile Alabama. Never have I experienced such attitude as I did here, or high prices that come with it. I will not come again. There are much nicer car washes to deal with. The employees were friendly and did a nice job drying off my car so I did tip them well. It's the owner though that is not impressive. read more

I heard the man yelling his lungs out at one of the kids working, it was embarrassing for me to hear, I can just imagine how the poor kid felt. What a way to treat your workers. I just left this carwash 10 minutes ago. I totally agreed with those who visit this establishment. Customer service, the wash, the drying and the inside - out detailing was excellent. I'm from the state of Texas visiting family and my GMC Terrain needed a good cleaning, so I Googled the best Car Washes in Columbus, Ga and decided to come here. I made the perfect choice the atmosphere was friendly to the point that the other customers who were there made me feel welcome. I have been using 4th Ave Car Wash for many years. Was "Best in town" until last few years. Used to have one of the owners out front checking to make sure cleaning was up to standard and to make sure customers were happy. Now that is not happening and last three times I have been there I was not happy. Complained once but don't like to continue to complain. Was not pleased with the service we were given this weekend. Our car was detailed using dirty rags, our seats were wiped down with dirty rags, the inside was not completely wiped down and in fact we even returned after we left to have it re-done. We certainly don't expect every inch to be perfect at a place like this but we watched other vehicles being scrubbed and detailed with vigor and the two guys working on our vehicle just really couldn't be bothered. Was very disappointed today with the service i received , after the car came out of the wash the guy only started to dry off the front of the cars hood then jumped in to move it forward , after doing so the car sat while they were working on other cars , finally one guy done the wheels( mind you the car has still not been dried off ,they did a poor job on the windows , still no wipe down inside or drying the outside of the car , then the owner yells IT'S READY! I point out water that was still on the rear bumper (he wipes it off) and said to me the car had been dried off ,I told him I sat on the bench watching my car air dry , he says it didn't happen they would not do that .But it did happen : I'm not blind ,Nor will i spend any more of my hard earned money at this Carwash which i have been coming to for many years, its over I don't like to be lied to or cheated ( scratch a lie find a thief ) trying to help the local folks out and to save myself sometime but ill wash my new car myself and save that 40plus $Dollars a month $ IM done now i can move on. read more
