We had to wait 2 weeks to pick it up because they wanted to "make sure everything was gone through and there were no issues, and reseal it". When we went to pick it up they were supposed to have a person walk us through it and show us how everything worked. The guy said he had never been in the camper and knew nothing about it. I don't believe they did anything to it to prepare it for us at all. Issues so far: missing window cover, corner strips coming loose and/or broken inside, hot water heater not working, oven doesn't work, smoke detector not working at all, curtain by bunk beds ripped, and worst of all, it leaks around the slide out. We have only used it a handful of times and we have to make repairs every time. Buyer beware. read more

I bought a trailer last Friday and it was filthy they did not clean the inside or even wash it. The gentleman giving me the walk through knew nothing about it. The black water tank was full. Buyer beware! I drove 250 miles one way to look at motorhomes that I saw online. They were ALL dealer rejects! All were bought at auction out of state for a quick flip. They all had the same mud on the tires from the auction lot. Absolutely no prep whatsoever - not even washed! Prices were horrible for these old derelict rigs. They were expecting Blue Book prices for absolute junk. Some appeared unsafe to even drive with bad tires, ripped body panels, and rusted suspension. What a waste of my time. Never again! read more

When communicating about a specific unit, I was clearly mislead regarding the condition of the unit. The unit was advertised with only 1 issue on the exterior, and "no major issues on the inside". This was not true. Water damaged interior is a major issue! Trying to hide it from potential buyers is even more of an issue! read more

For everyone who is thinking about being a customer of 4Z RV in Peru Indiana, I just want to say stay away before you consider them as an option. I connected with 4Z RV because I found a listing through their site about a 2007 Fleetwood Fiesta RV that sparked my interest. After speaking with Roberta who was very friendly and assisting. We decided to make a deal and I would pay a non refundable down payment of $1000. We also discussed since I was traveling 700 miles from PA that there would be a full inspection of the RV and anything that needed to be fixed would be, in return I would pay full price. When I showed up about 3 weeks later (maybe four) I found an unprepared RV. Little did I know how unprepared it was. After completing the paperwork I hit the road back to PA. About 2 hours into the ride it all started coming to light. The heater didn't work because there was an old junk battery which wouldn't take a charge (second battery was missing). I had to start the generator which also quit about 20 minutes later. The 10 hour trip home became a freezing 20 hour cold and snowy nightmare trip without the defroster, heating and lousy wipers. I had to stop many times at truck stops to warm myself up and wait for the snow to stop falling down (all motels rooms were booked). Once I made it home I found even more problems for example the leveling jacks did not work. I spoke with Roberta about the problems that I encountered, and she told me to replace the faulty batteries and they would refund me. She told me after I replaced the batteries, to call back and I would speak with a mechanic about fixing the jacks. When I called back I spoke with the owner Phillip who was beyond rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. He accused me of lying, making up a story about faulty brakes (which I never did) and refused to connect me with the mechanic to resolve the issue. There are many friendly and honest RV dealers around, and you do not have to make a deal with an unhonest and rude crook. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone including my worst enemies. read more

Very happy with our deal with 4Z's RV! The owners made it very easy and comfortable to trade our RV in for a new one. Contacted them by phone, sent pictures of our RV, and made the deal via text messages. To top it off they accepted our counter offer to deliver our new RV and pick up our old RV. My husband and I put a deposit in a RV 2 weeks ago. We were told it had to go through service to be inspected. Which we totally understood. We were going to be driving 8.5 hours to see the vehicle. The staff called us the moment it was out and we set up a day and time we would be out there to look at it and if it fit what we were looking for to purchase it. The staff is super friendly and nice no complaints there. What I have to say is no matter what the price tag of the vehicle is you should at least make sure it's clean and presentable for when the customer comes to see it. This motor home we looked at had poop in the toilet like someone used the toilet and didn't bother to flush jt, there was hair and pubic hair in the shower and all over the bathroom, make up smeared all over the bathroom.. dirt all over the floor, the table and counters were covered in sticky stuff,a huge dead bug in the sink, a dead frog. We had to ask them to please clean the toilet before we purchased the vehicle. Which we were told they did and guess what.... it wasn't done. There was still feces in the toilet and on the toilet seat when we checked. I truly am disappointed and disgusted. If it wasn't for the fact my husband needed a motor home of this capacity we would not have purchased at this dealership. read more

This dealer was not honest or forthcoming about defects in an advertised rv. It was purchased through online auction because it was advertised with only "normal wear" issues. NOT TRUE!!!. It surely has lots of wear which is expected in a older motorhome. But in addition, there is interior water damage, current leaks, electrical issues, severe underside rust, non working appliances, broken cabinets and doors, broken electric step, non working slide, broken shower door, non working generator, no running lights, no left blinker or brake light among others. Oh yes, a missing toilet (when called on it, he sat a dirty one in the middle of the floor for my installation). And they refused to refund my money. Beware of 4 Z's RVs in Peru Indiana. read more

We had 4Z do a pre-sale inspection on a used RV we were buying from a private seller. They were very efficient and had good communication during the process. They inspected the RV in a few hours and gave us a report over the phone. My reason for a 4 star is because the inspector didn't mention the soft spot in the flooring, but later when asked about it he mentioned that he was aware of it. On our way out of town with the newly purchased RV we had new tires put on elsewhere and were informed that the wheel bearings were bad. So we took it to 4Z. They fit us in last minute, charged us fairly, and allowed my young kids, husband, dog and myself to sit in their store room while we waited for the fix. Overall good experience. We had an AWESOME experience with 4Z's RVs. We drove over 3 hours to get there. Within minutes of arriving we were greeted by Janeen, who was TERRIFIC to work with. She walked through the unit with us to answer any and all questions we had. The unit we were looking at was a bank repo and took several phone calls, texts and emails to communicate between us and the bank. The service guys took the time to go through the unit and told us exactly what repairs were needed (right down to the part numbers). Within a week we were the proud new owners of a "new to us" camper. One week later EVERY item on their list was either repaired or replaced. There were NO surprises. While traveling through Indiana on US 31, the black water pipe fell off our Class C and was dragging on the road. I googled and found 4ZS RV. Called and they said bring it in and gave directions. Upon arrival they immediately began repairs. Everyone was friendly and even allowed our schnauzers to wait inside the air conditioned office. Repairs were completed and we were on our way.
