I was a little apprehensive about buying from an out of state dealer, but the pricing was fantastic. It represented a 47% savings!! I decided to pick up the RV in Indiana and make a road trip out of it rather than having it shipped. While they were installing a new 5th wheel hitch in my truck we did the inspection/orientation and this was where they fell short. It was pretty clear that I knew more about the RV than the person doing the orientation, which was really disappointing. It took way longer than necessary too, mainly because they didn't know what they were doing and had to enlist other employees for assistance. To be fair, they did say their main person was out that week. I was also put off by the fact that at no point did the sales person, or sales manager even attempt to meet with me when I picked up the RV. Apparently, since I had paid in full there was no reason to meet, but it certainly did not make my transaction feel appreciated. Bottom line, it was worth the savings to purchase here but the communication once the sale was made, as well as during the orientation was lacking. Of course they give you optional "add-ons" such as slide out awnings, and RV essentials, but it is very poorly explained and when Dawn sent me the information originally, it wasn't even the right attachment so it made no sense. They could do much better by providing clarity, as well as making you feel appreciated once the deal is complete.

Apparently, sales doesn't know when the service department is open or when Techs are available. I found this out after driving to RV Dynasty with the trailer on day of trip. Here we sit in Nashville at 100 degrees waiting on a mobile Tech that I had to find to get here. I guess I will pay for my own warranty work and hope Forest River reimburses me. There are also several other issues with this RV that I have contacted RV Dynasty about 1.5 months ago for which I have not received a follow-up call. The sales manager asked if I wanted a follow-up visit after our trip LOL. I told him that I would be taking it elsewhere for warranty work. I was told to have a nice day... hmmm. We had been looking for 5th wheel RVs for over 5 months, and we have specific requirements that we were wanted. The Sales staff was wonderful to work with and very helpful especially Austin and Rachel. I picked it up around the first of December and towed it to Florida where we live. There were some damages on this initial trip that were Coachman's manufacturing issues. Stellhorn was very helpful in supporting us. The Service staff are great and Kirk was extremely helpful and supportive in the challenges that were faced. Most of the issues were regarding the Manufacturing issues and Quality Control within Coachman which we are addressing with Coachman directly Also when we went to register the camper here in Florida, we found that Stellhorn had packaged all of the required documentation for the camper and we had a very smooth registration effort at the DMV. When we went to pick it up they were supposed to have a person walk us through it and show us how everything worked. The guy said he had never been in the camper and knew nothing about it. I don't believe they did anything to it to prepare it for us at all. Issues so far: missing window cover, corner strips coming loose and/or broken inside, hot water heater not working, oven doesn't work, smoke detector not working at all, curtain by bunk beds ripped, and worst of all, it leaks around the slide out. We have only used it a handful of times and we have to make repairs every time. Buyer beware.

I forwarded the report to the warranty department of Zoomers. Their response was that they hadn't found anything wrong in their two prior inspections. Hmm. You didn't notice the cut in the floor approximately 6 to 8 inches long? You didn't notice the one slide had an issue that even the Forest River factory agreed needed to be repaired? So my conclusion is, they are okay to purchase but don't expect any assistance from a service point. So i found another dealership who was more than happy to assist me. They got the factory involved on the slide as well as all the other items. I found that I shouldn't have downsized so much and will probably have to trade again. I won't be going to Zoomers as they are only interested in the sale. I will be going to Royal RV. So disappointed in Zoomers.

We owned an older travel trailer and had 2 tire blow outs in the same day on the way home from a trip. We were just going to have it fixed and trade it in for a newer one that suited our needs better. We had already gone to a few other dealers to look at travel trailers so we already knew pretty much the floor plan and amenities we wanted so we just needed to narrow it down to make and model. They put us with salesman Gerald. He showed us new and used trailers with what we wanted and others just to make sure it wasn't something we didn't think about. We were up front that we still had to get ours fixed first before we could purchase a new one. He got us with service so they could get an estimate written. Ours ended up having $14,000 in damage and ended up being a total loss. Gerald was so patient and allowed us to put a deposit on the one we wanted until we settled with our insurance company. This took almost a month but Gerald still held the one for us. Not one time did Gerald try to pressure us into buying a better model or something that didn't make sense for us. We finally settled with the insurance company was ready to purchase. Gerald got us scheduled with finance and delivery within a few days. Both of these teams were outstanding. Quick and easy. They advised of additional warranties and upgrades to purchase but no pressure and moved right on when we declined. The delivery guy that showed us how to work everything spent almost 2 hours with us. Everyone at modern Trailer Sales were outstanding. You get a gift certificate and discount in parts on the day of delivery. Even the parts department was great in our special order for what we wanted. We could have purchased this floor plan at a couple of different dealers but Gerald is what made us want to do business at Modern Trailer Sales. I have and will always recommend this place for sales and service.
