The cinnamon twist initially tasted like it didn't have much cinnamon on it, but as I ate it a slight cinnamon taste became strong and more distinct. I like how it wasn't overpowering and it kind of snuck up on me. As for the donut holes, they melted in my mouth. Honestly they weren't even that hot. They were room temperature and they melted in my mouth. They weren't too sweet and had just enough of sugar and dough. The buttermilk donut was a first for me. It was delicious! It could taste the undertones if the buttermilk, mixed with the same yeast mixture as well as the sweetness of the donut. The more I ate this donut the sweeter it got. Now a days I don't like my donut too sweet but the buttermilk donut got the job done. The sugar from the donut did flake off the donut a little bit but that was just fine because there was quite a bit of sugar the center of the donut.
