Food 5/5 Chewy soft kolaches yes please! I tried the jalapeño and cheese and the beef kolache and both were great! The sausages were thick and juicy and when paired with the pillow like bread was a great wake up call to my morning. They were also reasonably priced. Service 6/5 Despite being early in the morning she greeted us with a smile and we felt very welcomed. This place has something for everyone!

This is our new favorite donut place! Staff is SO SWEET and so welcoming! Upon walking in with my daughter, the sweet lady greeted us and gave my baby a donut hole. Our visit was welcomed with yummy sugary aroma, great donut selection and the friendliest people! The environment was clean and smelled just like sugar frosting! 10/10 for Papa Yuns!

Oh Cronut, oh cronut. You are the most delicious. Made fresh and out of the oven. Decadent spread of cream. Topped with fresh fruit. You are my delight! The cronut is the poetry of fine pastry. It is like hybrid donut and croissant doused with cream and filling. The strawberry one is the bees' knees and I would definitely come back for it again and again even if it is a 20+ minute drive. Donut holes were pretty good. Blueberry donut was delicious too. Also had the Valentine's donut too. These were all good but my heart will always reach for the cronut. Yes. I admit, I did buy all these donuts and ate them all in one day but I did share a little bit because sharing is caring right??!? Now I'm sharing the joys of the cronut. :)

Cronut heaven. The pastry cream (F-Sa)covered with fresh Strawberries and/or Blueberries is worth the $5

We got there at around 10:15am, and most pastry options were gone already :( Mama Yun greeted us and got our food quickly. Although she didn't speak much English and I don't speak Korean, we could make out most of what each other meant with my questions and her answers. I got the sugar and a long john with maple frosting that I liked more. This is definitely a get in/ get out shop, which I'm also okay with. I'm just bummed that I couldn't try out any of their more famous signature donuts and cronuts!

Busy at 6:29 am ..Must be good!

This place is located in a very nice strip mall, and also happens to be next door to a Starbucks. I pulled up at 6:25am, there were 3 people inside and another 4 people exiting their cars when I arrived. Very busy considering how early it was, I figured the donuts had to be good! Lots of regular/frequent customers in line. Yes, mask are required to enter- The store isn't that large inside and of course you can't sit inside due to the pandemic. They get you in and out the door pretty quick, I waited maybe 2-3 mins total for the people in front of me to wrap up. The donuts are top notch here, very tasty. I am red velvet donut kinda guy and I knew after my first bit that I would be coming back to Papa Yun. Very moist and almost creamy texture on the inside. My wife was raving about how good everything was. As an added bonus that have a wide variety of breakfast items like burritos, danishes, sausage rolls, wraps, sandwiches etc.. I give this place 5 stars.. Papa Yun has a wide variety of items, the donuts are really really good, the service is excellent and people are friendly.. can't wait to come back!

Papa Yun's has really good cronuts. They are huge while being moist on the inside and a bit crispy on the outside . They make a strawberry one too which will hopefully comeback after covid. Great donut shop!

Papa Yun's has unique designs and unique donut flavors! I love getting food from small businesses like these, instead of the large donut shops such as Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme. The donuts from Papa Yun's are fresh, lighter, less greasy, and the perfect amount of sweetness! Their menu is not limited to donuts, of course. There are danishes, rolls, and croissants with a variety of flavoring (sausage, cheese, jalapenos, etc). I've tried... * Strawberry cronut - Mine didn't have the chocolate filling in it, but I wish it did! The cronut itself is okay, but the CREAM CHEESE on top with the strawberries was soooooo goooooood!!! * Maple glazed - So fluffy and the perfect amount of glaze on top :) * Bowtie (plain) - also very delicious :)

    red velvet and blueberry, yummy!

In Forth Worth for a few days and wanted a quick breakfast on our way to Waco. Found this gem on Yelp so stopped in. On a Friday we got there at 9, not as many fancy donut options as I saw in the pics but maybe it's because we were beaten in by the morning rush. Still there were a variety of options to choose from. I tried the red velvet and blueberry. Both were really good. Nice crispy outside and soft cake-y middle. I didn't really tasty the 'red velvet' until, to my surprise, once I got to the middle I got that yummy cake taste. Hubby ordered the bear claw sandwich w sausage and egg which was really good and they don't skimp on the egg and sausage. My cousin had the glaze and chocolate coconut and she seemed to like it. Friendly service. 4 donuts, 3 milks and a water for $15. A little pricey but hey, we were on vacation :)

Seriously best donuts ever. Plus they were so nice to us. We cannot wait to come back.

The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor. Overall, I think it's a great place for a business meet up and if you are standing at the property but nothing too special. Note: this was lunch menu and I heard the burger here is good so many you can try that but I wouldn't recommend the steak at all.

Now for the food, everything was portioned greatly, more on the heavier side, which you will not hear me complain about because the prices are higher. So for my Chicken Jalapeño Cheddar omelet, I appreciated the leftovers. My only con was the shredded chicken was not seasoned, so after taking my first bite, it seemed dry and bland. My extra salsa and cheese helped it along the way, but I would have wanted something to be there. Loved our waiter, very sweet and attentive. The wait time was reasonable; they were busy but definitely bringing plates out of the kitchen in a timely manner. If you're looking for an elevated brunch feel, this is your place, a great place to host a reasonable 5-6 person dining experience!

We opened with a cocktail from the bar, which set a high bar for what followed -- unfortunately, not everything cleared it. The Deviled Eggs with Spicy Best Maid Pickles arrived looking the part, four to an order, but tasted like they'd forgotten to show up to their own party. Bland, flat, and in desperate need of seasoning, we reached for the salt shaker, which helped, but shouldn't have been necessary. The pickles, to their credit, were doing their absolute best and were genuinely the only flavor happening on that plate. Skip these. The pickles deserve better supporting cast. The Cheeseburger with Wasp Sauce on a potato bun, however, is a different story entirely. We ordered it medium, half expecting the kitchen to interpret that however it pleased, but it arrived cooked exactly as requested, which felt like a small victory worth celebrating. The Wasp Sauce is a mystery worth solving, and the house-made chips that come alongside are fresh, crisp, and dangerously snackable. Pro tip: order a side of ranch for dipping. You're welcome. We also added a side of fries, which were equally excellent. No notes. Little Red Wasp has real charm, great energy, a fun bar, and a cheeseburger worth crossing Main Street for. Just steer clear of the deviled eggs and order the chips with abandon.

The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.
