Oh Cronut, oh cronut. You are the most delicious. Made fresh and out of the oven. Decadent spread of cream. Topped with fresh fruit. You are my delight! The cronut is the poetry of fine pastry. It is like hybrid donut and croissant doused with cream and filling. The strawberry one is the bees' knees and I would definitely come back for it again and again even if it is a 20+ minute drive. Donut holes were pretty good. Blueberry donut was delicious too. Also had the Valentine's donut too. These were all good but my heart will always reach for the cronut. Yes. We got there at around 10:15am, and most pastry options were gone already :( Mama Yun greeted us and got our food quickly. Although she didn't speak much English and I don't speak Korean, we could make out most of what each other meant with my questions and her answers. I got the sugar and a long john with maple frosting that I liked more. This is definitely a get in/ get out shop, which I'm also okay with. This place is located in a very nice strip mall, and also happens to be next door to a Starbucks. I pulled up at 6:25am, there were 3 people inside and another 4 people exiting their cars when I arrived. Very busy considering how early it was, I figured the donuts had to be good! Lots of regular/frequent customers in line. Yes, mask are required to enter- The store isn't that large inside and of course you can't sit inside due to the pandemic. They get you in and out the door pretty quick, I waited maybe 2-3 mins total for the people in front of me to wrap up. The donuts are top notch here, very tasty. I am red velvet donut kinda guy and I knew after my first bit that I would be coming back to Papa Yun. Very moist and almost creamy texture on the inside. My wife was raving about how good everything was. As an added bonus that have a wide variety of breakfast items like burritos, danishes, sausage rolls, wraps, sandwiches etc.. the math aint mathing. i went in to get 2 cinnamon rolls, a kolache, and breakfast burrito. i left with 2 cinnamon rolls and a kolache that added up to $14.40. the cinnamon rolls are $1.99 and the kolache was $4.99. they forgot the breakfast burrito, which cost $2.89, the total was more than needed. i went to my car, excited to eat the burrito, and there was no burrito. i go back inside to ask where my burrito was. they checked the microwave and then asked me to pay for it because they forgot to ring it up. i started to do the math in the shop and the math wasnt mathing. i was charged an additional $5.40 for what i thought was the burrito. got to my car and it was a biscuit. not going inside to correct this im just not coming back. ive been coming here for 2 years never had anything like this happen. read more

In Forth Worth for a few days and wanted a quick breakfast on our way to Waco. Found this gem on Yelp so stopped in. On a Friday we got there at 9, not as many fancy donut options as I saw in the pics but maybe it's because we were beaten in by the morning rush. Still there were a variety of options to choose from. I tried the red velvet and blueberry. Both were really good. Nice crispy outside and soft cake-y middle. I didn't really tasty the 'red velvet' until, to my surprise, once I got to the middle I got that yummy cake taste. Hubby ordered the bear claw sandwich w sausage and egg which was really good and they don't skimp on the egg and sausage. My cousin had the glaze and chocolate coconut and she seemed to like it. I'll just get straight to the review. 1st off, I immediately got really good vibes from Papa Yuns. I was in the area a couple of days prior to me visiting the donut shop, and I sent them a message via Yelp because I couldn't find the shop. So, today when I visited I expected the same great customer service, and I received it. 1st, we entered looking a little ratchet in comfy sweat and tshirt because we had a looong day of errands to attend to. Well, sometimes when you go into a business they judge you and act as if they don't want to serve you when you're dressed a certain way. Well, they greeted us immediately with huge smiles. They were very polite and patient(I tend to ask questions or take a while to make a decision when trying a new eatery of any sort). Not to mention the place was very tidy as someone was sweeping and straightening up as we were there. Okay, this is getting a lil lengthy because I like to talk...long story short, we tried the cronut and I had a dozen donut holes (half glazed and half powdered). I was not the least bit disappointed. They were good. The glazed holes could have had a little more glaze but were still very good and moist .Not to mention, we were still somewhat tired and forgot to give the cashier 27cents. Well, they didn't have a problem with letting us pass with not having the change. I could go on and on about how much I plan to visit again and try different items. I read the reviews and wanted to see for myself. Still haven't found my go to donut shop in town. My overall rating would be that this shop is ok. I got glazed donuts, a cinnamon roll, and cinnamon twist. They were all ok. I loved the doughyness of the donuts, but the glaze was mediocre, not too sweet, but also not enough of it on the donuts. I felt very rushed and i was the only one at the counter. As a previous poster posted, too expensive for the area. I paid 33% more than most shops in the area. I sat and watched as many customers filtered through. Some were greeted with smiles and pleasant greetings and some were rushed like, "why are you here?" Hurry up. The jelly filled donuts delicious but the biscuits are great but if they cooled down they get hard but very delicious. I'm not much of a donut connoisseur, but this place is pretty darn good! Heard about this place from a coworker and she mentioned they have some pretty crazy things. They also have cronuts and you can get it filled with cream! It was wonderful with chocolate filling! I loved them as well as the bacon maple donut they have. Also tried the bear claw, sprinkled chocolate donut, and glazed donut holes, all of which were delicious. My coworker says they can fill donuts too with your choice of cream flavor, which is pretty nifty. This place also sells things like kolaches and breakfast burritos, which my coworkers ordered and said was good and filling. This place sure gets busy in the morning though, so just be aware, we came in after our night shift around 730, and right after we ordered a line started forming and unfortunately they only had one person at the front, so it can become a wait. FYI this place, like most donut places, does not say it's name on the front. It just says "Donuts". It sits in the same brick plaza strip as smoothie king between chase and Walgreens. If you're in this area definitely check it out. My coworker was disappointed that they didn't have the jalapeño donut we saw in the pictures, and they only had 3 cronuts left and we're making any more when we got there. Excellent donuts, for a very reasonable price. I noted a lot of people have mentioned in their reviews that these donuts are very high priced, but honestly I got a dozen donuts fancy and not and a cheese danish for under $25 and for the quality it's good. I would say my all time favorite was the maple bacon eclair, and than the smores. To note the double chocolate is good the m and m is good the apple fritters are good, and the cookies and cream are good as well. The ones I did not like as much ( I wouldn't say hate) the red velvet, and the cheese danish I was not the biggest fan of but still pretty good. Also they have punch cards so for every 10$ you spend you get a punch and when you get them all you get a free dozen glazed, so keep that in mind and come heck out some excellent, and unique donuts. read more
