I have been doing business with this company since 2022, however my last experience will keep me from continuing my relationship with 5 Boys Apparel. I placed an order Aug 2025 for 50 Hoodies that were supposed to arrive in late Sept/early Oct. However, I did not receive them until Halloween. Also, there were multiple printing errors throughout the 50 hoodies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted the company and it took almost a month to get return shipping labels to return the hoodies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They refused to start a new run until they received the misprinted hoodies back in their warehouse. They received the hoodies on 12/30/2025. I received an email the hoodies would be shipped two weeks later, but then it was in another 2 weeks and then another 2 weeks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, they were not communicating this information, I was going to their website for updates.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I did reach out to them I did not receive a response until I asked for a refund on my order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At that point, they again promised the hoodies would be shipped out within the next week. This was the middle of February and the last communication was they would be shipped Feb. 18th. Well, the hoodies just arrived last Monday, March 23, 2026 and some of those hoodies are misprinted as well. I had one order that went incredibly well and that was it. The second order was a lot more expensive than I anticipated but I decided to go through with it to get shirts for our 35th anniversary for my company. Went back and forth to make sure that a specific size would be available place the order with a deadline to be available for our anniversary. Day before they were supposed to ship I was told they did not have the right sizes and they could not get them 6 days later they said they would get something and the shirts were going out expedited shipping I got them a week late and definitely not the specialty shirt I ordered still have not heard from customer service the thought of great customer service in my experience do not go hand in hand. I waited 35 business days after my artwork was approved but never received a tracking number, ir any kind of update. No message about any type of delay. Once I read a lot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] of other similar complaints about them I decided to open a dispute with my credit card company to attempt to get my money back. My cc company reached out to 5Boys Apparel and they didn't res[[HIGHLIGHT]]pond to the dispute so I had to wait another 10 days for a decision. That said I was able to get my money back. 5Boys never contacted me or apologized. I guess i[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]t[[HIGHLIGHT]] was my fault for trying to do business with them. I've bought tshirts from 5 boys apparel before and although it took about a month to get them the first place I didn't think much of it, the product was solid and I was pleased with the quality. However, I placed a new order 2 months ago for a new design and the timing has been slipping way past what's acceptable for screen printing services on t shirts. I ordered them early November, and although everything was paid for there was no communication on any delays until I reached out in December. I expressed it had been over a month and I needed an update on my order. I received an email a couple days later stating the order would be processed and shipped sometime between Jan 3rd and Jan 10th. Now it's Jan 10th, two months after the order was placed, I've been trying to reach this company for three days now via their portal, their phone number, even through Facebook, and no answer, no update, no idea when I'll receive my order. Artwork was approved the very next day the order was placed and everything has been paid for. I ordered these products way in advance and even with that now I have no idea if I'll have them on time for my event. I do NOT recommend wording with these people, no idea when I'll get my order and there's no communication with me. This is a terrible way to develop a repeating and loyal clientele. I placed an order with 5Sons apparel for about 130 shirts. It was supposed to take 30-35 days, and it ended up taking almost 70 days. The worst part is that almost 3/4 of the shirts have some bizarre fading issue. I was 1st told that the proof review was inadvertently overlooked, then that they found it and would send to me, then I approved and was told it would immediately go in to production, then after I reached out again I was told the product was about to ship on June 20-25. No communication and lack of follow up or urgency is concerning to say the least.I chose a local company because I like to support local businesses like myself but never again from this group. When I called to ask when it would ship, they told me "it will ship next week," and it did. I wish I hadn't needed to check in, and that they would have communicated that with me.
