I'm big on health and making decisions that will have a positive impact on my long-term health, which is why about 6 months ago I made the decision to start seeing a Chiropractor on the regular. Doesn't hurt that insurance covers the bulk of it either :). In looking for a Chiropractor I wanted someone well qualified with reviews to back it. Secondly I wanted someone located within reasonable driving distance and affordable for regular appointments. Cummings Chiropractic Family Wellness met all these requirements. I don't pay too much attention to testimonials on business websites as these are easy to make bias, but in doing a public search I found Dr. Cummings has a very strong track record. He has a flawless record on RateMDs, great reviews on Google+ and even a surprisingly strong social media presence (great to see for a medical professional). His actual practice is conveniently located on Elbow drive right in Kingsland Plaza, easy to get to and this Plaza never get's too busy. There's 3 dedicated parking stalls and street parking nearby, I've never had issue getting parking. His prices are very affordable and fair compared to some other options I looked at, I'm not going to quote them here in case they change, but check the fee schedule on their website. Everything considered, they passed my initial search criteria with ease. Upon actually doing my consultation and subsequent visits there was nothing I encountered that would deter me from continued visits. Front desk is polite, efficient and professional. They always work with my schedule and have direct submission for my insurance provider making coming in and out a breeze! As for the Chiropractor, Dr. Grant Cummings is a great guy, always happy, polite, conversational and most importantly professional. He has the professional and educational credentials you would want from a medical professional and is very comfortable/confident in fielding any questions I have. I can honestly say I feel looser and more agile since I started visiting, and the frequency of my "episodes" have decreased as well. Things are especially good when I actually follow the suggested home care methods he provided as well, although I need to work on keeping up on these :). The practice/facility itself is well kept and maintained, very clean and tidy. They were established in 2003 and have a strong working history. As this is the first Chiropractor I've been to I can't comment on techniques and equipment used, but everything seems to be up to date and in-line with what I'd imagine a professional practice should look like. His website can probably speak to this more than me, this is definitely worth looking at, very detailed and well kept website! Their hours are well balanced and go back and forth between an early morning day to a later evening day, great for squeezing in an appointment before/after work! They do Saturday morning-afternoon as well and it even looks like they have some after hours care and mobile options. All things considered, I would definitely recommend visiting Cummings Chiropractic Family Wellness!

I went to her initially for food allergy testing, my first appointment she prescribed Estrosense maximum dose and Multi-Glyco, which she said would help me with my hormone and sugar levels and that she prescribes this to all women. One month later, she prescribed a new supplement for energy levels and failed to realize she prescribed me something I was allergic too. She had the results of my food allergy test, and did not verify the supplement had contents that I was allergic to. Probably because she was too occupied complaining to me how COVID was inconveniencing her privileged life and affecting her sons' elite hockey practices (perhaps I should have reminded her people are losing jobs during COVID). I broke in a whole body rash after taking 2 doses of the new supplement. When I informed her, she said it could not have been the new supplement, (likely because she was avoiding responsibility that she prescribed me something I was allergic to), and said it was the Estrosense that I was on for a month. My rash worsened and overwhelmed my body, and developed into a Staph infection, so I had to take myself to the hospital ER on Boxing Day, where I was prescribed antibiotics and topical creams. When I informed Chantelle I had to go to ER, she made it all about her, and would not stop harassing me with emails and calls to cover her ass, playing dumb like she did not know what caused this, implying that I did not follow her directions and continued with something I was not supposed to, insensitive to the fact that I was suffering this infectious rash. Sending me passive aggressive emails such as " I've been practicing for 20 years. I've seen thousands of clients and I've honestly never had anything like this happen before. If it was the product, I can definitely tell you that I've taken that into consideration and I'm happy to remove it from my formulary going forward. I just think that with the nature of the reaction that it might be related to something that you're still doing and I want this rash to stop for you" I never had this type of severe allergic reaction before I went to Chantelle. I am still struggling with the rash, which seems to react to any trace amount of something I am allergic too, for example even a bit of black pepper in a spice seasoning. I am now awaiting an appointment with a dermatologist to prescribe me strong oral steriod (which is not great for your body). Prior to seeing her I was on no medications, and now I am more pharmaceuticals than I have ever been on. She also tends to rely on some arbitrary computer program that scans your hand and diagnose all your organs. I have seen other Naturopaths before and never seen this BS computer program. If it actually worked, than I am sure the entire medical community would use it. Other Naturopaths rely on their examination, observation, interview of your medical history and issues, to figure out what is wrong with you. She informed me that she prescribed me the general protocol she gives to everyone, which is contradictory to the principles of naturopathic medicine, which looks at the wholistic picture of an individual and not seeing them the same as others. I advise you to seek another Naturopath and also extensively research them before you visit. I learned that from this experience AB does not regulate naturopaths. This experience has ruined my life the past few months and really screwed up my body. In this case ND stands for NOT A DOCTOR. Unfortunately, the review requires you to enter a rating, so I selected 1 star but I advise you to run the other way.
