Amazing place! They have a wide selection of work clothing, everything from aprons to neon vests, Dickies, Levi's, vintage union made clothing. I bought a great vintage union jacket and coveralls (that actually fit!!!!), thankfully they have changing rooms so I was able to try on the clothes. As a short person who has very wide hips, it was so crazy finding coveralls that not only fit me well but made me feel good in them too. Teresa, working up front, was super helpful and also offered to call me once the store gets bigger size Dickies in stock. She was friendly and even gave me a free t shirt! I've walked past this place for years meaning to go in. Today I finally did - it's the best decision I've ever made. Terry is wonderful, who was kind and patient as I grabbed more than I could carry to try on. She has an incredible collection of new and vintage workwear, skirts, shirts, pants ... everything!! The vintage ranged in all different sizes and meant for different body shapes and genders - it was very impressive to see so many incredibly well-kept and beautiful deadstock designs for anyone who walked in. This store was terrible. My boyfriend and I came in to buy uniforms for a short film we were making. On the phone, the employees were helpful enough. Even in the store, the older woman who worked there came over and helped us pick out sizes. But then we made the mistake of agreeing to let them sew on patches for us in the store. For a fee of about a dollar a patch (which felt like a lot, but we needed the uniforms in a hurry) the younger female employee said she could sew them on. She said, and I quote, "If you give me a couple of minutes, I can sew those on for you." Cut to an hour and a half later. Both employees have disappeared from the store, my boyfriend and I are standing around like idiots, thinking, huh. This has been a long, long few minutes. We were hungry, we were impatient, and we were starting to feel like we'd been lied to. Before the woman even started sewing our patches, she spent a huge amount of time resolving an issue for a customer who came in after us, and then was on the phone for another decent chunk of time. So, when the older woman emerged from the back, my boyfriend expressed some dissatisfaction that we'd been waiting forever. And she flat out denied that we'd been waiting as long as we had. I had made a phone call at the beginning of our visit and had the proof on my phone that we had in fact been there nearly an hour and a half. After we insisted, she returned to the back, and SURPRISE! The shirts were ready in two minutes. Clearly, they weren't even trying to get our orders done on time. When we tried to talk to them about the issue, they were NOT friendly. The woman who had done the sewing said she actually wanted to charge us MORE because she messed up one of the patches and had to sew it twice. Um, sorry, but that's not how customer service works. They ended up being incredibly rude and basically accusing us of being bad customers for trying to get our money back for the patches. We promised them a terrible Yelp review, so here it is. The inventory is not bad, but if you don't have several hours to spare or if you object to being treated like total crap and overcharged for sub par service, then save yourself a lot of time and find the clothes you need on Amazon or elsewhere on the internet. read more

I called ahead of time and spoke with Teresa. I specifically asked her if they had the girl school uniform skort and she said yes. I told her that I wanted to make sure before going over there and she gave me the directions. After crossing all of LA I arrived there just to find out that they don't have it! She said "Oh I didn't hear you said skirt or would have told you no" Wow! I didn't even say skirt! That is not good enough! Stores need to make sure that the people that answer the phones speak well, listen and can understand customers! I hate it when they give me the wrong indormation and make me waste my time and gas!!! Today was my first time at this store and I'm definitely going to be returning. I was in search for some pants for my younger brother who is 6'3 and we struggle to find dickies pants in his length. Well I walked in a was greeted and helped right away. Not only did they have a 36x36 which is his size but Karla also told me that we can order some specifically for him. In a way customized. I don't understand the mixed reviews. My experience was way better than I expected. I went in looking for painter's coveralls. I was in the neighborhood and thought it was unlikely they had my size (I'm 6'2 and skinny with monkey arms) I assumed I'd end up ordering on amazon. I also expected some dusty unorganized surplus store. Nope this is a clean, organized, friendly, well-stocked store for work clothes, especially Dickies. The woman who helped me couldn't have been nicer. They have tons of work clothes for tall, regular and wide people. For a small store they had great inventory of dickies stuff. I tried on a few different sizes in different models and actually had a nice time buying work clothes. The coveralls I bought are no longer available through the Dickies website. Plus turns out it was cheaper than amazon prices for the same product. I'm not sure if this is true of all products but for a non-chain store the prices were great. They have a small section with army/military surplus stuff. army fatigues, bags, etc. They also have lots of jackets and vest for road workers and tow truck drivers, AAA, Security uniforms, etc. They seem to have a good inventory of school uniforms too (consider the time of year you buy these though I'm sure you know this), work clothes, overalls, coveralls, reflective work clothing, Dickies shorts, pants, shirts. Bonus: They have a regular customer discount card. "Buy $25 min purchase six times and get a $25 gift card. Only one stamp per visit. No exceptions" I go through work clothes a lot so this will come in handy. I'll be back! read more
