I've been going here for 10 years with all my vehicles, I really don't like the new owner. The last two times he talks to me and treats me like a minor trying to by beer, as if I shouldn't be there. I went to him to smog my truck and if anything fix it to get it smogged, everything was good. Come to the next day to do smog or I'm leaving the truck at his shop over night. He didn't even let me step a foot inside. Kicking me out saying out and that he as the right to refuse any services. I tried talking to him bro to bro, his smog shop is around the corner from my shop. But all I hear it (out) (out) as if I was a dog. Never again, I don't recommend this place to anyone, I miss the old man that use to run it. read more

They failed my smog. Cycled key on and off to fast and said check engine light was not coming on. As it was on and came on for me in the parking lot tried to show the guy and refused it saying something is wrong with my truck. He said "all your random lights and your radio" is making me fail a smog that's off emission and not two eltronics that have no play in it... took it to a referee shop and told them issue and didn't do nothing to my truck and it passed flying colors. Referee shop said guy did my smog incorrectly so I spent 52$ to have services done incorrectly fowl place to go. read more

Quick and easy and great price. Only cost me $40 with the certificate out the door for my smog check - for vehicles 2000 or newer. Was in and out within 20 min. I called around and they have the best pricing. So I'll be coming back here next time. read more

My go to smog shop for all my vehicles. The old man that runs the place is no nonsense. He doesn't try to up sell anything. Just make sure your engine has the right oil levels. Fairly friendly and it's the fastest smog in the area. Last one for me was 12 min out the door read more

Christopher Telles-Garza is listed as the inspector on my suburban and has no idea what the cat requirements are on it. This suburban was purchased from a Chevrolet dealer in California and they also confirm this person has no idea of what cat requirements are. He mistook the 4 cat requirement on the vehicle as literally 4 full cats, but there are 2 sensor cats on this model not visible. He failed our car and but labeled as "tampered" with which was a lie. This created a ticket with State Inspectors and review board. They immediately stated Chevy was corrected and Christopher was wrong. They took his license number. When confronted by this costly and time consuming error, Chistopher refused to refund the fee and was very derogatory towards me. Recommend highly never using this station or it could cost you dearly. read more

Not sure if he even knew what he was doing charged $ 31.75 to fail the smog test , have always been treated Great by Owner unfortunately he wasn't there today . I've lived in this town since 1970 seen a lot of businesses come and go,, it's a shame it's on state hwy.108 think the owner's Son would step up his game , $10 off if I bring it back, that won't be happening,,, he says I need to put more miles on vehicle it failed at the very end of the test , but that'll be $31.75 , the exact same thing happened to my girlfriend's vehicle a year ago and the owner Tom Sr. did not charge for a failed test go figure.. that's called taking care of the customer , and that will bring repeat business , Jr's Work ethics are quite a bit different . I have been to Five Points twice with two different cars. This place is great. They are fast, and very good. No upselling, no waiting, no nonsense. The guy that runs the place is not much of a talker but he does a great job. This is the only place I will go to have my car smogged from now on. If you live in Modesto or Oakdale it is worth the drive. read more

I have gone here to smog my two vehicles for the last 3 years. Doesn't get any easier for me. Greeted promptly and out the door with minutes. Haven't had to wait over 1 hour but I leave it and come back later anyways. I would recommend this place to all my friends. read more

Unfriendly bad customer service. Two guys were working on my car ,one left, and left the car on. The second guy came and " turn on " the car and then the car shot down. When the car was done they just charged me with out saying if it passed the smog test. after that i noticed that my DMV invoice was torn in half nothing was said. my wife called to ask why and the guy said, well just put a piece of tape. OK that is what i need to send for my tags. will not recommend this place at all worst experience ever. read more

This shop is not worth your time. Tom is an old man who is way too grumpy. He gave me a diagnostic and quoted me may more than it cost me too have it replaced somewhere else then it still didn't pass and he told me to screw off. I highly recommend not going to this shop read more
