I originally visited this location due to a Groupon. The threading was very quick and at a very good price. Obviously the most important part was that I left with phenomenal eyebrows. I didn't make a big deal about it, I just waited for them to grow back out. When I returned to her she had the biggest attitude and accused me of going to another threader. I normally enjoy threading but this time it was very painful. I would recommend threading with her but will not recommend tinting the eyebrows, just because the color was gone the next day. I just got my eyebrows done here and the whole process was quick and almost painless for threading haha. I love the way my eyebrows came out. The location is inside the President supermarket, right by the entrance when you walk in you will see a chair in front of a mirror. I found her on groupon and she also mentioned she is sometimes in another location in a salon on Hollywood boulevard. It was a little confusing because the groupon shows the address of the supermarket but on the map it shows Hollywood boulevard so I gave her a call and she answered right away. I am absolutely blown away by this place. I recently moved from Brooklyn and there was only one lady that I trusted with my eyebrows. After moving here, I tried a few places for eyebrow threading and my brows were made way too thin, after spending 20 minutes on them. I come here and Shakeela was able to perfect my eyebrows in probably 10 minutes or less. My eyebrows were already thin from my trip to another salon, so hopefully they grow out and Shakeela can perfect them again. Shakeela is very personable and you can tell she is passionate at what she does. Ontop of all of that, it only costed me $10 to get them threaded. It beat the prices at every spot I have been to so far. The only tricky thing is that, you have to text/call Shakeela to make an appointment. She picks up immediately though! Also, this place is hidden in a supermarket right by the cashiers. If you get lost, you can just call her and she will direct you. This is THE go to spot for eyebrow threading. I will be back within the next week or two and I am going to try their eyelash lifting services. Shakeela you are the best! read more

Firstly, it was the most painful threading I've ever gotten, she does it so slow that it's like the pain lasts longer. I seriously think it hurt worse than getting a Brazilian, seriously I wanted to cry. And omg my eyebrows are so jacked up. I noticed right after she did them and pointed them out but she kinda gave me the run around bullshit excuses, (no apology or concern either) and so I kind of just brushed it off thinking it was me but when I got home and started asking my friends and family about them they all thought they looked like sh*t. I spent a long time trying to grow my eyebrow hair back after messing them up in high school and was making progress but now I am set back even further, I honestly felt like crying, I am applying castor oil daily trying to get back on track. I have pictures attached of how my eyebrows looked after thread and tinting. The worst part is I have been trying to grow the middle part of my eyebrows in as they are supposed to line up with your nostril and they have been growing back in finally and she whacked them off and now their even wider apart and cut like a slant. I also have a slanted piece of hair missing from the middle of eyebrows that wasn't missing before. I'm so confused because she has such nice pictures on here and reviews, maybe she was having an off day or maybe she isn't used to those who don't already have full eyebrows but I pray they don't take other 6 months to grow back. Advice: your eyebrows make your face, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else before you end up like me. read more

They say beauty is pain, but this was the most painful threading I have ever experienced. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 10 years and never felt anything like this. She threaded so slowly, it was excruciating. On top of the pain, she had asked me if I wanted to thread my forehead, which I had agreed too. When I went to pay, she told me the forehead was 10 dollars, which shocked me since the Groupon I got for my eyebrows and upper lip was 9 dollars. I have been able to find prices online for only eye brow threading (which was 6.99). I can't confirm, but highly doubt the forehead costs 10 dollars. Honestly, I feel cheated and would never return to this place again. Take your services elsewhere if you want pain free honest care for your brows. read more

She did an amazing job threading my eyebrows! It's a small shop in the grocery store, but these kind of places are the BEST places to go!! She takes her time to really do a great job, and really caters to her customers. You can tell she's really passionate about her work. I just moved to Florida, and I needed a trusty eyebrow ladyyy. I went to some other places in the Miami area and just did not get the same service! First of all, other places in Miami are sooo expensive. And they rush you in and out so they can see more customers, if you tell them that they missed a few hairs or something then they act all mad even thought you're paying them for this service. But 5 star beauty salon is literally 5 star service! I don't plan to go anywhere else or trust anyone else with my eyebrows. She does other services as well such as facials. I asked about what kinda facial she would recommend I get for my acne prone skin. Instead of pushing her services on me in order to make more money, she recommended that I try a simple face scrub that I could just buy from the store first, which I bought that same day since I was already in a grocery store and it's really helped my skin! After reading such wonderful reviews, I thought I should take a chance. It was honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over ten years. She went very slowly and it was one of the most painful threading experiences I've ever had. When I looked in the mirror, I noticed that there were small hairs. Other threaders have been able to get those out. She told me she could not. When she finished both eyebrows and I looked in the mirror, I immediately noticed that my eyebrows were uneven. When I commented, she told me that she didn't think they were uneven but if I felt that way then she would continue working on it. She told me that I could either let her work on it or I could leave. I paid for a Groupon which included eyebrows and lip. When I asked her if she could just do my lip, she refused because I didn't want her to work on my eyebrows anymore. read more
