Called 3 seperate times. No one answered the phone, no one called back just "please leave a message sorry mailbox is full"

We spoke with a live person the night before and booked someone. He even gave us a later time then we wanted because he said that was the earliest he had anyone available. He assured us someone would be there no later than 4:15am. We began calling at 4:05am and continued calling until 4:25am. We eventually had to call another cab service who charged us extra. We understand glitches happen, however, we spoke with a live person who assured us they would have someone there at the appointed time. read more

I had a business meeting in Saint Joseph and had scheduled a pick-up from the airport 3 days in advance with 5 Star. I spoke with John who I learned was the owner. John was very pleasant to speak with and after giving him my flight information he went over the reservation details with me to confirm he had all the correct information. After the call had ended I received a text confirming my booking with all the details I had gave to John over the phone. After grabbing my luggage and heading outside I was pleasantly surprised to see a 5 Star Cab sitting at the curb, it was cold out with snow still on the ground so I was grateful that I wasn't sitting and waiting for my taxi to arrive. The ride from the airport to my hotel was also pleasant, the cab was very clean and didn't smell of cigarette smoke like most taxi's I had been in. During the drive from the airport to my hotel, which was roughly a 45 minute ride I ask the driver if he could take me through a drive thru to grab a bite to eat because I was hungry. After going through the drive-thru I was told that eating and smoking wasn't allowed in the vehicle as per company policy, but the driver called and spoke with John on my behalf and an exception was made as long as I took my trash with me at the end of the trip. After we arrived at the hotel the driver offered to help me with my luggage and even though I declined the gesture was nice. I didn't have to pay after getting to the hotel because I paid prior when I booked the ride, shortly after the cab had left I received a text message thanking me for using their service. I used 5 Star as my only transportation for the next 4 days that I was in Saint Joseph and for the ride back to the airport. I travel quite a bit all over the country for work and have used many different cab services, 5 Star exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond what you would typically get from other taxi services. I will defiantly use this taxi service next time I go to Saint Joseph Missouri and I can honestly say 5 Star Cab is in the top 3 if not #1 of the best cab services I have used period. TLDR: I travel often and mostly use taxi's for transportation while out of town. 5 Star Cab provided top quality service that exceeded my expectations and is one of the best cab company's I have used. read more

Terrible service! I called for a ride and it never came. I called 20 mins later and they said they were coming and that they would contact me when they were coming. 20 mins later I try to call and it sent me to voice mails many times. They never came. I will not call this service again read more
